Description
Built in 2004, this semi-detached house is ideal for a family holiday with children. It has 3 rooms, a terrace and a small garden. The house is located in a small, quiet complex consisting of three houses (6 semi-detached houses). On the ground floor there is the living/dining room with fireplace and access to the terrace, the small kitchen and the bathroom (shower/WC). The ground floor is tiled throughout. Upstairs is the small bedroom for children with a platform bed (140x200cm) as well as a spacious bedroom with double bed and reading corner. In addition, the upper floor has another small bathroom (WC/washbasin).
Equipment
The holiday home has a maximum of 5 sleeping places: two in each of the two bedrooms (upper floor) plus an additional pull-out bed and a travel cot for a baby/toddler. There is a high chair (TripTrap) for children. You can bring towels and bed linen with you or rent them for an additional fee of 12€/person (in this case we ask for timely arrangement).
The kitchen is fully equipped (ceramic cooker, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave). TV via satellite reception and DVD/CD player. For the garden and the terrace there is appropriate furniture, a standing basket as well as a grill
We ask for your understanding that smoking is not permitted in the house and that pets are not allowed in the house.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located on the outskirts of the small, idyllic seaside resort of Ückeritz between the steep coast and the Achterwasser at the end of a dead-end street (play street). This guarantees pure tranquillity and relaxation (no disturbing car noise, etc. even inside the house). The kilometre-long fine sandy beach below the steep coast can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot via a forest path through the nature reserve and a stable steel staircase at the end of the forest. Opposite, also only 800m from the house, is the Achterwasser with surfing and sailing school with rental and restaurant as well as a small boat harbour with boat rental.
The station of the Usedomer Bäderbahn is only 300m away from the house and is recommended for excursions on the islands. Two supermarkets (Edeka and Aldi) are also 300m away and several recommendable restaurants are also within walking distance.
Ückeritz and surroundings
Pure nature and a wealth of sights and leisure activities in Ückeritz and the surrounding area mean that there is never a dull moment! Hikes along the kilometre-long steep coast, through the beech and mixed forests, bicycle tours on well-developed routes, horseback riding, fishing, boat trips and plenty of water sports (sailing, surfing, rowing, water skiing, jet skiing, pedal boats) are all on offer. In Ückeritz there are restaurants and shops for daily needs, a surfing school on the Achterwasser, several bicycle and beach chair rental stations, children's playgrounds and a skating rink. In the neighbouring imperial resorts of Bansin, Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck, with their villas and famous piers, there is a wide range of shopping facilities, events and restaurants. The indoor seawater pool and the Bernsteintherme in Zinnowitz with a brine thermal bath (32°C geyser), Turkish steam bath, Rasul, Aquaviva, Finnish sauna, sanarium, coloured light and beach sauna allow body and soul to relax. Countless cultural events, galleries and museums on Usedom invite you to visit.
How to get there
You can reach Ückeritz easily by train or car. The station of the Usedomer Bäderbahn is only about 5 minutes walk from the holiday home.

Wonderful!
We had a really very nice vacation in the holiday home. It is very clean, cozy, and lovingly furnished, and everything you need is available. We were especially pleased that everything needed for cooking was there, including oil, spices, salt, pepper, etc., and that there is a washing machine.
We arrived by train, and for that, the location is really great. One is quickly on foot at the train station and also at the supermarkets; to the beach, it is a nice walk through the forest. Alternatively, one can borrow bicycles for free with the spa card.
Communication with the hostess was always quick and exceptionally friendly.
We would definitely come back.

Beautiful house in a quiet location
The house is pleasantly and practically furnished and fully equipped. The afternoon sun shines in the beach chair on the terrace and when it gets cold, a wood-burning stove spreads cosy warmth. We arrived by train and were able to get around easily by bike and on foot. The Baltic Sea beach and Achterwasser within walking/biking distance offer everything you need to relax, the Feininger tour to the south of the island with galleries, exhibitions and historic sites is idyllic and if you want you can also plunge into the hustle and bustle of the Kaiserbäder. A success all round!

Beautiful short term summer holiday
We were able to book the accommodation at relatively short notice and everything worked out perfectly with the communication/logistics. The accommodation itself is adequately equipped and we had nothing to complain about. The way to the beach is within walking distance (20 min) and due to the night season everything was very relaxed. Overall, the flat / the place and the area are highly recommended!
