Description
‘Onder Ons’ can accommodate up to 6 people (+ 1 extra bed). The house has its own outdoor area and 2 parking spaces on the property. It is bright and has floor-to-ceiling windows to the outdoor area. The furnishings are functional and modern, in wood and warm colours. Children are welcome!
Just the two of you? The house is modular: the ORANGE half can be partitioned off and is suitable for 2 people.
House Plan
Ground floor : entrance, 2 living rooms, one of them combined with dining space, exit to the garden, bedroom with one single and one bunk bed ( the supperior bed is charged as supplementary bed (+ 10€ per night), small kitchen with dining place, toilet.
First floor (by steep and open stairs): bedroom with double bed, bathroom (shower), gallery with 2 single bed and access to the panoramic loft through a narrow spiral staircase. Breathtaking view to the coast.
If rented by 2 people - ORANGE half:
Ground floor: entrance, open-space living area, compact open-plan kitchen with dining corner and standard equipment.
First floor (access via open 45° staircase): bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower.
The prices quoted refer to a rental with 6 persons.
Prices per night for ORANGE half (only 2 persons):
High season: 90€
Low season: 70€
Final cleaning all-inclusive: 75€
During the summer holidays we rent out on a weekly basis from Friday to Friday for organisational reasons.

The holiday residence „Onder Ons“ was built in 2008 and is situated on a ample natural estate of 1700 square-meters in the nice Mecklenburg village of Zierow, between the pond at the hamlets’ centre and the Baltic Sea.
The old manor and the lime tree alley mark the villages’ character, as well as the old thatched farm houses.
Behind “Onder Ons” a footpath leads through the oak- and beech-tree wood, following the salt meadows to the Baltic Sea in a distance of 300 meters. The natural beach, gently sloping to the waters of the Eggers Wiek, is guarded during the summer months, which makes it a perfect place for the youngest among us.
„Onder Ons“ is built in the Nordic style. Its timber structure is entirely visible in the interior and gives the cottage a warm and friendly atmosphere. The fresh design in vivid colours and the light-coloured wooden furniture give you a holiday-feeling immediately.

Surfing point, riding stable and extended hiking tracs to the Fliemsdorfer Huk, the old fisherman’s hamlet Hoben or to the Eggersdorfer swamp complete the leisure possibilities around Zierow. The huge network of European cycling trails invites to experience the landscape by bycicle.
Two big shopping malls are in a reach of a few kilometers.
The medieval city of Wismar with its 3 huge brick churches, the old harbour, the vivid town centre and it’s exciting leisure bath is at a distance of only 8 kilometers, the twin cities of Lübeck and Rostock at a half hour car-ride, as well as the capital of Mecklenburg –West Pomerania, the city of Schwerin. They all tell stories about impressing architecture, rich merchants, pronounced culture, breweries and pirates …
The sea resorts Boltenhagen, Rerik and Kühlungsborn invite you to swim or stroll along the esplanades. A day trip to the natural parc Sternberger Seenlandschaft or to the biosphere reserve Schaalsee offers you an incomparable experience of water and nature.
A large cultural and art program is offered throughout the year by numerous manor houses and mansions, scattered all over the coast and the outback.

Autumn week in "orange
We spent a wonderfully relaxing week "among us" in the cosy house half "orange". The house has everything the heart desires and surprises with lots of loving details. We also felt wonderfully looked after by Mrs Wollensak in terms of organisation. Simply recommendable to recharge your batteries in a wonderful environment.

Super relaxed family accommodation!
We had already booked half of the Orange with the Golden Center in the summer of 2020 and were back this year with our two children and a befriended family because of the great house and good amenities, but above all because of the excellent location - this time we had the whole house.
Physically, everything you need is there, and even the spirit can relax very well when you let your gaze wander out of the windows. The garden is very spacious and well separated from the beach promenade by the planting, even without a fence, which leads directly to the water without crossing a road. There are various playgrounds, cafes, mini-golf, and a supermarket in the campsite. Additional shopping options are available in the town center (10 minutes on foot from the house) and also a 5-minute drive away in an industrial park in the neighboring town for larger purchases. Mrs. Wollensak is very uncomplicated, so the whole booking process runs smoothly. We highly recommend the house to anyone who enjoys going to the Baltic Sea :)

The Second Time Around- and even Better!
We stayed at Onder-Ons for the second time, this time in the Blue room since the Orange one was not available, and we were even happier than last time. Ms. Wollensak did everything possible to ensure we had a lovely stay, including homemade jam, new bedsheets during our 3-week family vacation, enjoyable conversations, local tips, and assistance with our luggage. Thank you for making our family vacation so special! We loved the house's open feel, compact size with all amenities, the nearby beach with a playground, the wild and private dunes next to it, the biking paths around, the cultural heritage of nearby Wismar, and the large private garden next to the house. We will definitely come back, maybe in the fall or winter, to explore beyond the giant oak trees that line the property. The house is a gem and perfect for a relaxing family vacation.

House in the green
The house has a wonderful location - directly in the greenery and the beach is only a few minutes away. The house is bright and spacious! The kitchen equipment is top notch! We also made good use of the garden. We felt very comfortable!

Very nice holiday apartment in a great location
Very nice holiday apartment in a modern wooden house. Great property with old oak trees. Very close to the beach (about 300m). The apartment has very good, carefully selected equipment. We have rarely had such a well-equipped kitchen in holiday apartments. There are also toys, games, and books available for children. Only small drawback: The sleeping option on the sofa bed is moderately comfortable. Conclusion: We felt very comfortable - highly recommended.
