Welcome to the oasis of tranquility amidst nature in the small village of Gienau. The village of Gienau is less than 14 km from the beautiful spa town of Bad Bevensen, and the Elbe River Biosphere Reserve with its wonderful Elbe beaches and meadows is also less than 17 km away – your perfect holiday home where up to 10 guests can have a great time! The house offers a spacious living area of 168 m² with five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The property, with its pond and wellness building, is over 7,000 m² in size. Whether a family holiday or a getaway with friends, everyone will find their place here. Children can also play safely on the property. Dogs are warmly welcome, so your four-legged friend can also enjoy relaxing days.
The amenities leave nothing to be desired. In the expansive garden with 2 terraces, barbecue, and garden pond, you can spend sociable hours while children and dogs romp in the greenery. A garage, parking space, and wallbox for your electric car are available. After an active day, relax in the whirlpool, sauna, or by the crackling fireplace in the house, where there is also a large tiled stove in the living room. The outbuilding, where the covered outdoor whirlpool is located, is equipped with heating, shower, changing room, and toilet, and is less than 10 meters from the main house.
The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, oven, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, egg cooker, dishes, ceramic and induction cooktop, as well as extractor fan, invites you to cook together. For the little ones, there is a crib and high chair available. Washing machine and dryer are in the guest WC on the ground floor. Iron and hairdryer offer home-like comfort.
For entertainment, there is a large 65" LED TV in the living room with a Teufel HIFI home cinema system, DVD and Blu-ray player available to our guests. The house and property have free 100 Mbit WLAN. Bicycles invite you to explore the idyllic surroundings of Gienau and the area. The house is non-smoking, offers an allergy-friendly atmosphere, and is also suitable for long-term rental. Enjoy relaxing days by the water, in the garden, or beautiful evenings at our bar in our event barn, which can also be used by our guests, where there is another bedroom for persons 9+10 upstairs with shower and toilets on the ground floor. On the upper floor, our guests have access to a large room with a seating area, foosball table, and billiard table.
The village of Gienau is surrounded by meadows and forests, where walkers can still discover many animal species and much nature.

Our holiday home is located in a quiet area in the small village of Gienau on a property of approx. 7,000 m² with a pond and plenty of lawn for playing and relaxing. Shopping facilities are available in Dahlenburg, 6 km away, where there are REWE, Aldi, Norma, and also bakeries. There is also a swimming pool and a museum here.
The beautiful spa town of Bad Bevensen on the Elbe side canal with its thermal bath is 14 km away.
The lovely Elbe town of Bleckede with the castle and many small shops is 17 km away.
The Elbtalaue Biosphere Reserve already begins in Bleckede and, with its biodiversity and beautiful Elbe beaches, is worth a visit.
The Elbe town of Hitzacker with its lovely cafes and restaurants and the elevation of 108 above sea level is also less than 28 km away.
Anyone who wants to explore the Hanseatic city of Lüneburg with its many historic buildings can reach Lüneburg in 30 minutes (25 km).
If you want to go to the Wendland, to Dannenberg or Lüchow or to the Clenzer Heide, you can be there in 40 minutes (45 km to Lüchow).
You can also take a nice day trip to Lüneburg or Dannenberg with the beautiful Heidebahn, with Dahlenburg station less than 4 km away. Here, a train stops every hour, traveling at a maximum of 60 km/h across the countryside, offering many impressions to be gathered.
