The holiday home is situated in the middle of a large garden with a stream and garden pond. The landlords live in another house on the property, so that help is always possible and information can be given. It is generously equipped and cosy. Except for the bedroom, no rooms have carpeting. After consultation and reimbursement of costs, e-cars can be charged on the property via WALLBOX
The holiday home is perfect for 2 people. (More occupancy possible, please enquire). The holiday home has a large feel-good living room (with additional sleeping option on a sofa bed), living room cupboard, telephone, a massage chair, dining area, flat screen TV with SAT connection, writing secretary and WLAN radio.
The bedroom with large double bed can be fully darkened and has a large wardrobe and generous shelves and is equipped with a WLAN radio.
A fully equipped kitchen awaits you with refrigerator, small freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, washing machine, dryer, electric cooker with oven and extractor bonnet, microwave and a sitting area
The partially covered and wind-protected sun terrace is ideal for a good breakfast in the open air or for barbecuing in the evening, even in rainy weather. Of course, you will find garden furniture, loungers, a barbecue, a parasol and a Hollywood swing.

The holiday home is located in the eastern Lüneburg Heath in a quiet location on the edge of the forest in Bleckede only about metres from the Elbe and Bleckede town centre
In a quiet location on the edge of the forest on the Geestrücken, in the immediate vicinity of the Elbtalaue Biosphere Reserve, the Elbe and Bleckede town centre, the holiday home is beautifully situated on a dead-end street, but flood safe about 20 metres above the Elbe
In the large garden there is a landscaped pond and an artificial watercourse. You can make interesting observations there. Playing games like badminton is very possible on the street, as there is almost no car traffic in the cul-de-sac. Of course, the lawn is perfect for lying down and sunbathing. You can barbecue wonderfully with the existing barbecue on the terrace
From the holiday home, you can directly use the well-developed cycle path network. You can also take short or long walks through the woods around the holiday home or through the Breetz mountains and, of course, along the Elbe
The town of Bleckede is a small, pretty, historic half-timbered town in the eastern Lüneburg Heath, a town near Lüneburg situated directly on the Elbe with a small Elbe harbour and a ferry connection. The town offers everything you need in terms of shopping, restaurants, cafés and leisure facilities, including doctors and pharmacies
The holiday home is an ideal starting point for bicycle tours along the Elbe through the Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve, Lüneburg Elbtalaue, the forests or wide areas of the Elbtalaue and the Geestrücken
The Elbtalaue Biosphaerium in ElbSchloss Bleckede is also home to the tourist information office. There you will also find a large Elbe fish aquarium, a beaver enclosure can be visited and afterwards you can go up to the lookout tower on the old castle keep to get a wonderful overview of the Elbtalaue. There are also short or long walks in and around Bleckede
Day trips by car to the Wendland to visit the Rundling villages, to the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park for a horse-drawn carriage ride through unique heathland, to Hamburg for a harbour tour, to the Heidepark for great attractions or to the beautiful Hanseatic city of Lüneburg, with its unique cityscape, museums and sights are just the thing when the weather is not so good. In addition, the spa town of Bad Bevensen with its wonderful spa gardens is not far away, so that you can make the most of the spa facilities, spa concerts, etc
Another special feature is the nearby state forest Göhrde, called "die Göhrde". It is the largest contiguous mixed forest in northern Germany. A visit is definitely worthwhile! You can even plan to go skiing. About 50 minutes by car and you are at the Snow Dom.
In the Advent and Christmas season, Lüneburg's Christmas market is no longer an insider tip. One of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Northern Germany invites you to get into a pre-Christmas mood. The holiday home also offers peace and quiet. The landlord will gladly put up a Christmas tree on request and conjure up an Advent atmosphere in the holiday home.
Over the turn of the year, our holiday home is very popular for people who are looking for peace and quiet and would rather spend the turn of the year quietly and contemplatively, mostly with regard to their dog.

In principle, you can take over the holiday home at 4:00 pm. On the day of departure we assume a return at 10:00 a.m., unless we agree otherwise and the occupancy allows it.
The keys are handed over directly at the holiday home by the landlords. If the landlords are unable to be present, the key will be handed over via the key safe with personal password. Please contact us a few days before your arrival so that we can discuss the handover of the keys.

Etwas anderes erwartet
Wir hatte uns das etwas anders vorgestellt. Der Hund durfte auch nicht allein in der Wohnung bleiben, und in den Garten.nur an der Leine. Da hat sich auch das draußen Kaffeetrinken erledigt. Die Sauberkeit war nicht toll. Spinnenweben, die Zahnputzbecher noch vom Vormieter beschmutzt, die Knöpfe der Mikrowelle kleben ,die Schale mit den Gästehandtüchern waren voller Dreckflussen.

Schade das es Ihnen nicht zugesagt hat. Das mit dem Hund steht in allen Beschreibungen zum Schutz des Hundes und ist Resultat schlechter Erfahrungen mit unschönen Ergebnissen auch für nachfolgende und Nachnutzer des Gartens und des Hauses. Sie hätten ja, wenn Sie es anders brauchen, nicht mieten müssen. Fleißige Spinnen kennen Sie sicher auch von zu Hause, wie wäre es mit einfach weg machen. Dreckige Becher und klebrige Schalter können nur von Ihnen sein, da wir dies immer sorgfältig reinigen. Sicher werden wir Sie als Gäste nicht mehr begrüßen können, was uns gefällt, da Sie das Ferienhaus auch nicht ordentlich hinterlassen haben.

Hotel/holiday apartment replacement
We used the house as a hotel substitute for a large Icelandic horse tournament in the neighbourhood and rarely had such nice, helpful and friendly landlords.
The bathroom is outdated - but still in relation to the rental price. The living area in the living room can be converted to sleep max. 2 more people, but is in a large living and dining room
price/performance ok for more than two people.

We felt very comfortable; the spacious apartment had more than we needed: complete equipment up to the dishwasher, garden, terrace with furniture and grill, telephone - the information in the description is correct!

We are happy about our holiday guests, because it gives us the one or other interesting encounter and since 1985 we have enjoyed our beautiful property and the restful quiet location together with the small town of Bleckede on the Elbe.
