General description
The small light-flooded house is allergy-friendly, with clay walls, baseboard heating and oiled wooden flooring. It is partly handicapped accessible (on request, threshold to house entrance and bathroom 3 cm each, floor-level shower). It is centrally located in the Hanseatic city of Lüneburg (UNIVERSITY LOCATION) and has approx. 45m² living space, the ground floor part with 40m² is a spacious living area, small fitted kitchen and bathroom/WC. On the gallery there is a large 1.40m and a 0.90m wide bed and is accessible via a space-saving staircase, which may only be used by fit adults. The sofa bed downstairs is 1.2m wide.
The house is situated in a small enclosed courtyard garden with garden pond, terrace with garden furniture, a barbecue is at your disposal. In the garden you can enjoy the sun. The property is approx. 500 m² and is situated in a cul-de-sac. It is a 5-minute walk to the train station and a ten-minute walk to the medieval half-timbered town. Shopping facilities are within walking distance.

THE HOLIDAY HOME IS VERY CENTRALLY LOCATED NEAR THE TRAIN STATION AND THE CITY CENTRE. THE SIGHTS OF THE CITY ARE THEREFORE WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE.

You can choose from
Canoe or kayak tours on the nearby, leisurely Ilmenau or the somewhat faster Luhe are offered by a rental company.
The Lüneburg Heath Nature Park around the Wilseder Berg near Bispingen (40 km) and the town of Hitzacker (50 km) on the Elbe in the neighbouring Wendland are easy to reach and famous for their scenic and cultural attractions
By car or train you can reach Hamburg in 30-45 minutes with its great cultural offer. We especially recommend the "Dialogue in the Dark" and the harbour with the Elbphilharmonie.

Top accommodation in the middle of the city
We spent wonderful days in Lüneburg with our two children and felt extremely comfortable in this cozy, bright and beautiful accommodation. The kitchen area is very small, but it is sufficient for simple and quick meals. Moreover, in a few minutes you can walk right into the old town, where there is a wide range of gastronomic offerings. The bathroom is also small and simple, but it didn't bother us at all.
Another great surprise for us was the piano, which, although slightly out of tune and a bit old, didn't stop us from playing a few tunes. We would love to come back. Thank you for everything!

Cosy garden house
We spent a few lovely days in the cosy garden house. The accommodation is close to the old town, in a rustic garden. The landlords were very nice and we were able to discuss everything in advance without any problems. We were surprised with fresh flowers, fruit and sweets. The furnishings are cosy. The sleeping place on the gallery with a view from a huge window is special. We will be very happy to come back.

Very nice idyllic flat
Very friendly and nice hosts! Everything you need is there. In the garden you have peace and quiet. The city centre is only a 5 minute walk away. We will gladly come back again.

Idyll in the middle of the city
In December 2021 we stayed for 4 nights in this sweet garden cottage and we really loved it. The wild garden, the clay plastered walls, the cosy sleeping corner on the gallery, the fireplace and the really very nice and enterprising hosts - a very good mix! We would love to come back!

We have been renting out our cosy garden house for three years now and have had very good experiences with it. We are always pleased that holidaymakers have enjoyed staying in the house and have had a lot of fun. The furnishings, the cosy ambience in the garden and the proximity to the city have always been positively praised. Our garden is natural and insect-friendly with a view of the garden pond and our listed half-timbered house. The garden house is allergy-friendly with wooden flooring, clay walls and baseboard heating. It is conditionally handicapped accessible and barrier-free (front door threshold 3 cm, threshold to the floor-level bathroom 1.5 cm). Please contact us). Train station, city centre, restaurants and shopping facilities are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Trips to Hamburg are possible by train, and the Heide is easy to reach by car. City maps and many brochures for leisure activities are available in the house.
