The Rustiko La Fontana is located on the sunny slope of the municipality of Tignale in a beautiful panoramic position in the district of Oldesio, only about. 1.5 km away from the main town of Gardola where there are all shopping possibilities, cafés, restaurants, as well as a doctor and pharmacy. In the immediate vicinity, there are good restaurants/pizzerias and a mom-and-pop store for daily necessities. Approximately 2.5 km away is a public swimming pool and the visitor information center.
It is about 7 km above the lake and can be reached in a few minutes via a beautifully developed panoramic road. From the south balcony of the Mimosa apartment, you enjoy an incomparably beautiful view of Lake Garda as well as the opposite Monte Baldo Massif.
The high plateau Tignale is a popular resort and a recognized climatic health resort on the western shore of Lake Garda, approximately 500m above the lake, with the 6 districts Piovere/Oldesio/Prabione/Olzano, and Aer as well as the main town Gardola. The journey is made via the Gardesana Occidentale which runs along the western shore of the lake. From there, branching off, you will reach Gardola after about 7 km via a well-developed panoramic road.
The charming landscape, already featuring southern vegetation, invites you to numerous hikes of various durations and offers an incomparably beautiful view of Lake Garda and the Monte Baldo massif on the east side of the lake. Directly from the apartment, hiking and mountain biking routes start. By car, it takes about 15-20 minutes to each of the two bathing spots on the lake, Porto Tignale, a popular spot for surfers and kiters, or Parco Fontanella in Gargnano with an extensive lawn under old olive trees. Both places can also be easily hiked from Tignale. Interesting destinations such as Andre Heller's Botanical Garden and Gabriele d'Annunzio's Vittoriale in Gardone are quickly accessible, and the cities of Saló, Sirmione, Riva, Arco, Verona, Mantua are also within easy reach. Additionally, there are opportunities for delightful excursions into the hinterland to other lakes such as Lake Idro.
