Description

The Villa Sol with pool is a detached, single-storey outbuilding of Villa Catherine with its own, enclosed terrace and direct access to the pool area.

Page 2 bedrooms with 1 double. Bed, 1 bathroom with washing machine, 1 fully equipped
Kitchenette and a comfortable living, dining room with international satellite TV.

All bedroom windows are fitted with mosquito nets.
In addition, mosquito nets were here in 2015 in both bedrooms on the beds attached.

The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, a stove with ceramic hob and oven, a microwave oven and all accessories.

An electric and charcoal grill for outdoor use are also available.

The pool area is equipped with a modern placemat and with sun loungers.
In the care of the pool very much importance is attached. The pool area is cleaned regularly.

A heater for cold weather is present.

Since 2015 is located in the residential area of Villa Sol m. Pool an additional wood stove.
Daduchus is possible to heat if desired, in addition to the existing heating, in particular, inter alia, if necessary, for transitional periods in spring and autumn, in the evenings with the cheaper wood for guests.
As can be heated by the heating by the wood stove, the entire living area,
provides it here also, also because of the pleasant heat to heat only with wood.
The necessary wood can be provided by the owner available.

Location and surroundings of object

The Villa Sol is located in a very quiet residential area, yet is centrally located (about 300m stroll to the road). Is about 500m walk to the beach. Parking is available across from the park in front of or over the house on a little-used road. Empuriabrava is situated on the Costa Brava, at the foot of the Pyrenees, in the beautiful and also "wild" Bay of Roses.
The place is laterally delimited by the rivers Muga and Salins Rio. Nature reserves are located in close proximity.

You will find the largest marina in Europe with about 30 km. navigable waterways, which give the place a very special touch.
Many villas and fishermen's houses are built in the Spanish-Moorish style.

Empuriabrava has an excellent infrastructure.

Here you will find beautiful residential areas, a main street that invites you to stroll, supermarkets, boutiques, pharmacies, doctors, cafes, discos and many restaurants with Spanish and international cuisine.

The approximately 2 km. long and about 200 m. wide sandy beach, clean sea and the surrounding coves, suitable for children and adults to swim and linger.

Relaxation and fun are inevitable here.

See Empuriabrava also a sports airport, offered at the skydiving and paragliding.
A wind tunnel Tunnel also invites an extraordinary experience.

Furthermore, here are all kinds of sports facilities,
such as diving, snorkeling, sailing, jet skiing, water skiing, surfing, sky-surfing, canoeing, tennis, skydiving, go-karting, golf (including a pitch and putt 18 hole course available), mini golf and much more offered.

For children include the Butterfly Park and the Aqua - Park (Roses) a special experience.

A great affordable holiday accommodation in a beautiful location.

We, a couple of 58 years, were warmly welcomed here with our 2 dogs by the owner and his wife.
Friendly people, who keep everything around their villa neat and tidy, as well as the lovely swimming pool!
The apartment is somewhat dated, like the old sofa, but everything you need is present.
You spend a lot of time outside during the warm months anyway.
It’s nice that there is a private terrace at the front and through the back you reach the beautiful rear terrace by the pool. Everything looks very neat and clean.
Shops, promenade, and beach are within walking distance. Dog beach at La Rubina, about 15 minutes by car. Very nice for dog owners, and of course for your dogs.
We definitely recommend this place, with a suggestion for the owner regarding the sofa and maybe fixed air conditioning units in the bedrooms (beds 1. 40x200) instead of mobile air conditioning in the living room and a fan, especially in the warm summer months.
The light by the kitchen counter is a bit insufficient. Shower is small, but nice!
All in all, the price/quality ratio is great.
In the month of June, everything is in bloom and we could even snack on the cherry tree! We will definitely come back here in Empuriabrava!

SUPER

The landlord is very nice, the house has everything you need, the pool is great and very well maintained. The price is also more than fair for the high season and for Empuriabrava. It's really easy to walk everywhere, the town is 5 minutes away, as is the beach, but it's still very quiet. The nearby dog beach was also great, our dog had a lot of fun.... In short, everything was great and we will definitely come back.

Great vacation in the mountains.

That was a very good and relaxing vacation. Actually, one should not praise too much, as then everyone would want this accommodation. But a big compliment to the landlord. He does everything with great enthusiasm!! We have also already reserved for next time.

Super holiday

We enjoyed a super holiday in this house as a family with teenagers. The garden and the pool were always very clean and well maintained.

My husband and I, as well as our German Shepherd, have stayed at Villa Sol for the second time and can only recommend this apartment. The landlord is very nice and always good for surprises, as he keeps coming up with innovations that make the holiday even more enjoyable. The apartment has everything you need and is just as clean as the pool area and the water quality. Our dog already feels at home there, especially at the beautiful dog beach.

This year was wonderful again!!!

This year we were guests at Villa Sol for the third consecutive time. Once again, we spent three wonderful weeks on vacation. The weather was perfect, the house was clean and cozy. To our surprise, the house was partially renovated (which we didn't think was necessary) and some very useful improvements were made. As you can see, the landlord is always careful to keep everything in the best order and thinks about ways to make improvements. The pool terrace and all outdoor areas were always very well maintained. The pool was also constantly checked by the landlord for water quality and cleanliness, which was very important to us with our kids. This year, our landlord again provided us with advice and support on all questions. Therefore, a big thumbs up and well-deserved 5 stars!

We felt very comfortable and will definitely spend our 2014 holiday at Villa Sol. And we are already looking forward to it :-)

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die Villa Sol liegt in einem ruhigen, aber dennoch zentral gelegenen Wohngebiet. Die Umgebung ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zu Spaziergängen ein. Wer mit dem Auto kommt kann direkt neben dem Grundstück parken.

free time activities: Es gibt für Jedermann etwas zur Freizeitgestaltung. Auch die umliegenden Städte haben in Sachen Kultur und Besichtigung sowie auch sportlichen Aktivitäten einiges zu bieten. Der Strand ist nur knapp 10 Gehminuten entfernt.

shopping facilities: Ob mit dem Auto oder zu Fuß, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es jede Menge. Auch zwei deutsche Discounter sind in Empuriabrava vertreten. Die Shoppingmeile ist nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt und lädt zum abendlichen Bummeln und Essen gehen ein.

Successful vacation on the wild coast of Spain.

Very successful holiday. The weather was also perfect. Could experience the beginning of summer (St. John's) with fireworks in Empuriabrava. Great hiking and leisure activities, such as boating, sailing, and much more. Just have to ask the landlord, who can give great tips.

Always happy to do it again!

We were guests at Villa Sol for the second time this year. Of course, our two children (11 and 7) loved the pool the most. The house is small but very functional, just right for us. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your vacation. The rest of the house also has all the things you need in daily life (especially during three weeks with two children ;-)). Whether it's a washing machine or an ironing board with iron... everything is there! The huge wardrobe in the hallway provides more than enough space for our personal belongings. The bedrooms are equipped with fly screens and safety bars, allowing us to have a peaceful sleep with the window open! Our favorite spot this year has also been the terrace by the pool. Under the palm tree that eliminates the need for a sun umbrella, we have spent many beautiful hours. We used the fantastic grill on the private terrace in front for delicious feasting. The house is in a good condition, clean, and well-maintained. All outdoor areas are maintained daily, and the pool is checked daily by the landlord and is therefore spotless!
We felt super comfortable like last year and have already booked for the new year. The landlord is very nice, accommodating, and always reliable! Any request is quickly taken care of. This deserves 5 stars! We are already looking forward to the next summer and our vacation at Villa Sol!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, lädt zum stundenlagen Spazierengehen ein. Die vielen Grünflächen, Palmen und Bäume runden das Bild ab. Die Shoppingmeile mit Geschäften und Restaurants aller Art ist nur ein paar Minuten Fußweg entfernt, auch der Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen.

free time activities: Es gibt für jede Altersklasse Möglichkeiten zur Freizeitgestaltung. Ob Fallschirmspringen, Cart fahren, Schwimmspaß oder Ausflüge in die Natur wie den Schmetterlingspark oder die Aiguamolls. Für jeden gibt es etwas zu erleben

shopping facilities: Man kann günstig bei den bekannten deutschen Discountern einkaufen, aber auch bei den ansässigen spanischen Geschäften. Uns hat es jedenfalls an nichts gefehlt. Auch deutsche Produkte sind problemlos zu bekommen.
