The Villa Katharina dos with pool is a very nice, bright and modern apartment in the tower of Villa Catherine, with a separate entrance and a large terrace overlooking a small harbor and the Pyrenees in the background.
It is located in the tower, a living room with a German satellite TV, the other a fully equipped American kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, oven with Ceranfeldkochherd (NEW since 2015), coffee maker, dishwasher, u. Washing machine.
1 bedroom (double. Bed), 1 bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is present.
In the bedroom, over the bed, as well as in other windows Mokitonetze exist.
The living area is An extending sofa that a 3rd person a place to sleep

The Villa Katharina dos m. Pool is in a very quiet residential area and is still central. In an opposite building is located in the same facility, the Villa Sol m. Pool.

Traumlage: Dream location
Well-equipped apartment with individual charm and beautiful views. Mr. Guth was always available. We had a car accident with a French vehicle and needed advice and a visit to a workshop, which Mr. Guth organized and accompanied for us, which we found very helpful. The complex is close to the center, yet very quiet, and free parking is not a problem at all. Our small dog loved playing in the nearby mouth of the Muga River in the evenings, where all dogs ran free. The river water is warm, shallow, and a dog paradise. There is also a nice walking path along there where dogs can run freely without bothering anyone. We didn't even visit the actual dog beach. The town's infrastructure is comparable to a small German town, everything is there, everything is close, and prices are quite okay. Empuriabrava offers a dream beach, gently sloping, sandy, and super clean. You can place yourself freely without having to rent sunbeds, although a windbreak is sometimes recommended due to the occasional gusty winds. Numerous excursion possibilities are available nearby as well as a wide range of offerings in the town itself. The owners live in the lower floor of the complex, but we didn't find this disturbing at all; on the contrary, we often joined them to watch football in the pool area. Since we prefer the sea, we only used the very well-maintained, lovingly landscaped swimming pool once. Despite fly screens and mosquito repellent, you need to keep the mosquitoes in check, as you are near the harbor. The bed is 140 cm wide and the mattress is quite thick and soft. Those who are a bit corpulent may have problems. Unfortunately, my sciatica promptly declared war on me, even though we are both rather slender. Despite all this, we liked it so much that we have made a note for 2019 and would love to come back.

Great autumn vacation
We would like to thank you very much for the great week. The landlord fulfilled every wish and always had an open ear for us. Great excursion tips, easily accessible shopping destinations. Even a German baker as a hidden gem. Upon arrival in Girona, we were even picked up at the airport. Breakfast in the morning on the balcony with a direct view of the canal - what more could one want.

Due to the appealing reviews, we were able to spend a 1-week holiday here, planned at short notice.
It did not promise too much. We found a beautiful, well-maintained complex here.
We were thrilled by the terrace attached to the apartment. Here, we could enjoy breakfast and the panorama in the morning sunshine. It was also nice not to be exposed to the sun all day. We found everything we needed and nothing was missing. The dog beach recommended by the landlord was great. Despite having a dog, we could relax. Although the landlord lives in the same complex, we had privacy. This also applied to the pool terrace, which was cleaned every day, and we found the water quality to be great. On the landlord's recommendation, he organized a sailing trip and a canal tour for us at extremely low prices. What should we say - We enjoyed it and found it great. Thank you very much!
My wife and I agreed that we haven't felt so rested in a long time, despite just a 1-week short vacation.
Conclusion: highly recommended. We will come back and are already looking forward to it.
