Casa Leonie is located on the beautiful Isla Cartago, which is surrounded by water and is characterised by its charming architecture with lots of plants and flowers. Access to the island is via a small bridge. Access by car is not permitted.
The house is in a central yet quiet location. The centre and the beach can be reached on foot in a few minutes.
Casa Leonie is divided as follows.
Ground floor:
Dining room with large dining table, small sofa and staircase to the upper floor.
Living room with pull-out sofa bed, air conditioning, satellite TV and direct access to the terrace overlooking the canal.
Guest WC
Fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine, fridge-freezer, ceramic hob.
First floor:
One bedroom with double bed (160cm), wardrobe and satellite TV
One bedroom with double bed (180cm), wardrobe, satellite TV. In this bedroom there is an exit to the balcony with cosy lounge furniture and sun awning with a view of the canal.
A bathroom with shower tray, washbasin, WC and washing machine.
There is air conditioning in the upper staircase.
Outdoor area:
Terrace overlooking the main canal, small pool (height approx. 1.2m), 2 sun loungers, parasol, gas barbecue, lovely dining area.

Four bicycles are available (2 ladies' and 2 men's bikes)
Bed linen and towels are not included in the price, but can be rented with prior notice.
The mooring is not available (private).

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday resort of Empuriabrava, located on the beautiful Costa Brava, has the largest marina in Europe with 30 kilometres of navigable canals. Off its coast are sandy beaches with a total length of almost 7 kilometres, part of which is located in the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park.
The town was modelled on Venice in the 1960s and is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, sailors and parachutists.
Empuriabrava is a unique town on the Costa Brava that offers its visitors a mixture of history, nature, sport and fun. In addition to numerous restaurants and shops, there are boat hire, sailing, surfing and diving schools.
The gently sloping, fine sandy main beach of Empuriabrava is around 1.6 kilometres long and one of the widest on the Cosat Brava.
