Description
The house is in a perfect location, 7km (11 minutes) from the ski slopes in Winterberg and 2.5km from the ski area postwiese in Neuastenberg. This puts you quickly on the slopes, but still with the peace and quiet of a small village. Tip: if it's busy in Winterberg then postwiese is a good alternative, especially for snowboarders with a "fun" section.
The house is fully equipped and fully featured: a large dining table near the fireplace for cosy evenings with children, family and/or friends. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, blender and a large American fridge-freezer with ice maker to make a tasty cocktail and/or iced coffee, now that's a holiday!
The rothaarsteig runs 500 metres from the house, which is a hiking trail of 150km, similar to the Pieterpad in the Netherlands. So an excellent place for great hiking! With us in the walk to Kahlen asten favourite, which is about 50 minutes one way.
For the children there is a very nice playground and grass football field 200 metres walk along a quiet road. The house is further child-friendly furnished with several games to play and a waffle iron and crepe maker.
