This newly renovated holiday home is located in East Frisia, in the centre of the municipality of Moormerland-Warsingsfehn-near the historic town of Leer (10km).The holiday home in the low-rise building is centrally located ,but very quiet, with fully enclosed terrace offers plenty of privacy and relaxation. There are no direct neighbours. You will occupy this accommodation all by yourself during your holiday.
There are 1-5 sleeping possibilities in the holiday flat. You may also bring your dog.
All rooms are at ground level, modern and bright, lovingly designed.
There is free parking in the courtyard and a public e-car charging station about 300 metres away. If you bring your bicycles, you can safely park them on the terrace, because the terrace is lockable.
The flat is divided into 2 large rooms.
In the large bedroom there is a double bed (180x200), which offers you a restful sleep. There is enough space in the bedroom also for a travel cot, which is provided free of charge for our smallest guests by arrangement.
You will find storage space for your belongings in the spacious wardrobe.
Flooded with sunlight from midday to late evening, the large living room has direct access to the terrace. In the living room, which is furnished in a modern and maritime style, there are further sleeping possibilities such as a sofa bed (140x200), with slatted frame and good mattress for another 2 guests. If another guest arrives unexpectedly, there is a sofa bed (80x200) available.
In the kitchen there is enough space and crockery for meals for 1-5 people. A high chair is also available.
The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, kettle, microwave, dishwasher.
The bathroom is large and bright, newly renovated. Shower and bathtub are available. There is also a washing machine, hairdryer and towels (3 per person) in the bathroom. The toilet is in a separate room and also freshly renovated.
Relaxing evenings can be spent on the terrace with a cosy barbecue.

Our cosy holiday flat is waiting for its guests in East Frisia, in the centre of the municipality of Moormerland-Warsingsfehn, near the historic town of Leer and has about 24000 inhabitants. Moormerland is one of the third largest municipalities in East Frisia and is located in the triangle of the East Frisian cities Leer, Aurich and Emden. Very good transport connections to the A28 and A31. On A31 is neighbouring Netherlands (stroll in Windschoten) or relaxation in the brine thermal bath in Bad Nieuweschans is also quickly accessible.(40km)
The North Sea is also around the corner (approx. 20 min drive)
The wide landscape offers personal holiday experiences for everyone. Paddling in the Rorichum / Timmel or pedalling according to the Knottenpunktsystem (signposted cycle paths).
The pedestrian zone in the town of Leer, which has already provided a backdrop for several crime films, can be reached very quickly and a relaxed stroll, a round trip in the harbour with the "Korale or a stroll through the beautiful old town with stops for fish rolls or drinking tea genuinely East Frisian, is almost a must.
Shopping facilities for groceries, drugstores, banks, pharmacy, doctors, cafes, restaurant are in the immediate vicinity.
In the vicinity of the holiday home there are beautiful walks ,e.g. with your dog along the Sautel canal. For guests who love culture, there are almost always events, plenty of museums, cinemas and theatres.
If you are looking for peace and relaxation on your bike, this is the place for you! The well-maintained, paved cycle paths, which take you through the flat idyllic landscape with white bascule bridges or tranquil villages, cow pastures, meadows and along the dikes from Fehn to the Dollard Route, even as far as Holland, are sure to delight you.
The sights such as mills in Warsingsfehn and Neermoor, the modern Gandersum barrage, historical cemeteries, the small Oldersum harbour with a rope museum or a park in Oldersum are also nice to see.
Day trips from Emden (20km) to Borkum or from Norddeich to the island of Norderney are recommended. The islands can be reached quickly and easily.
There is also something for families with children. A local history museum, tea museum, miniature land in Leer, a rope museum in Moormerland, hands-on museum, energy centre in Aurich, bunker museum or art museum in Emden help to pass the time when it rains. There are animal and leisure parks in the region, such as Jadeberg and Thüle. Close to the German border in Wedde (NL), approx. 53 km, a dinosaur park Tenaxx or Landerlebnis Janssen in Westerstede will delight young and old.
The beautiful canal harbour tours in Emden are also recommended.
The public transport bus stops are within walking distance.
