Deichhaus Lemmer
The Dijkhuisje Lemmer is located on Plattedijk with a view of the IJsselmeer dike. A beautiful holiday home with a private garden of approx. 380 m². The garden is completely fenced, so you have plenty of privacy. There are several seating areas; both in the sun and in the shade. From the garden and the living room you have a view of the IJsselmeer dike. The holiday home is located in the Iselmar bungalow park.
There is a spacious living room with open kitchen and dining table. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, and microwave/oven. There is also a washing machine.
In the garden house there are 2 bicycles which you can use free of charge, for example to explore the area or do your shopping. There is also a handcart which you can use to bring your things to the holiday house or to the nearby beach. You cannot park your car directly at the house, there is a parking lot at the bungalow park. If you bring your own bicycles, they can be stored in the garden house or under the roof.

Grocery service for only €10.00: It is possible for us to ensure that your groceries are in the (refrigerator) cupboards upon your arrival. The costs for these groceries will be settled with you on the day of arrival.
It is possible to bring your dog. The dog can run freely in the garden, as it is completely fenced. For the dog we charge €25 per week.
Arrival on Fridays from 4:00 p.m., departure on Fridays by 11:00 a.m. Other periods are possible by arrangement.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is in a really beautiful location. It is quiet and secluded on the edge of the Iselmar bungalow park in Lemmer. From the bungalow you can see a walking path on the dike of the IJsselmeer. The IJsselmeer is only 200 metres from the holiday home. On the dike you can walk, cycle, fly kites, sunbathe or swim in the IJsselmeer, which is possible from the bathing jetty or a little further on the large sandy beach. In the background you can see the chimney of the world-famous Woudagemaal, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Lemmer is a lively former fishing village with many shops, restaurants and beautiful terraces. It is located in the middle of the Frisian Lake District, between the IJsselmeer, the Tjeukemeer and the Groote Brekken. Het Dok runs right through the centre of Lemmer. Many boats pass this route, which is always an entertaining sight from the terraces on the shore. At Hotel Iselmar you can rent a sloop to experience the beautiful surroundings from the water.
Lemmer is centrally located, only an hour's drive from Amsterdam. Nearby is the Gaasterland with its forests and idyllic villages such as Oudemirdum, Rijs and the town of Sloten. There are 2 bicycles available in the garden house to explore the Gaasterland, but also to go shopping in Lemmer, for example. Larger cities such as Sneek and Leeuwarden are within easy reach.

Very beautiful house with everything you need. The garden with grass is a dream for our dog. The furnishings are just like home. Everything you need is there. Ideal for two people. We felt very comfortable. I would recommend it at any time.

Feel-good house

We had good weather and could use the beautiful garden.
Good location for walks, within walking distance to the lovely Lemmer about 20 minutes.

The perfect house for a holiday with your dog!
The Dijkhuisje has everything you could wish for! The location is great, you can walk into town, to the (dog) beach it's even faster. If you don't feel like walking, you can use the free bikes which are in top condition. The garden of the house is very large, extremely well maintained, completely fenced and with a view of the dike. In addition to table and chairs, there are also loungers, a bench and a super comfortable beach chair. In the garden house, you will find everything you need for grilling or a bike tour, including a grill and a cart to transport luggage from the parking lot to the house. The house itself is also well-equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, and all the necessities for daily use. It was also nice that there was more than one towel per person. The location is calm and we found it to be one of the most beautiful houses in the bungalow park by far. We were delighted and will definitely come back!

Beautiful vacation with dogs
The house is really as described. Beautiful, comfortable, bright, and clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The bathroom is large. The bedroom has a big bed and a huge wardrobe. The garden is great, fenced in, and the dogs could lie outside comfortably. The beach chair is genius. You are right by the dike, by the bathing jetty, and you can take a nice walk into the town. We really felt at home here. Thank you.
