Lovely spot by the IJsselmeer

What a joy we had this week in July. Wonderful in and around nature, the lovely IJsselmeer with its beautiful beach. And of course, this beautiful little house where everything is truly present, and which is so nicely located by the dike with its splendid garden. Our little dog also had a great time in the garden and at the nearby dog beach. The contact with the owner was also quick and accurate. Everything is also very clearly indicated in the emails. A recommendation for people who love peace, nature, and water. We will definitely come back.

Beautifully located holiday home

The holiday home matches the description exactly.
The location is super convenient for day trips by bike.
We didn't need the car at all during the week because the house is very well situated.
The house is very well maintained and well equipped.
There is nothing to criticize about the bathroom; it is very clean and equipped with a large walk-in shower.
The layout of the rooms is also practical.

A nice house that exactly matches the description and the photos.
The house was very clean upon arrival.
The shower/WC is in good condition.
There were no problems with the hot water supply and heating, and the Wi-Fi could be used without interruptions at any time.
The kitchen equipment could be improved a little.
A few sharp knives and spatulas, for example, would be nice. The location is absolutely great because you can reach the beach on foot in 5 minutes and it is an ideal starting point for day trips by bike.
There is nothing to criticize about the contact with the landlord.
I can only recommend this house.

Idyl with Flaws

The location of the house is unbeatable: Right behind the dike, just a stone's throw to the water.
Upon opening the door, a damp, musty smell hit me. OK, it had probably been empty for a while. But neither hours nor days of good ventilation in the sun and pleasant temperatures could dispel the "cellar smell."
The showerhead rod wobbled on the first day and failed to function on the fifth.
Everything else worked (except for a few light bulbs). The sofas and the kitchen seemed to be the most recent furnishings.
Too bad, because at that price, I would have expected a noticeable water damage (wherever) to have been fixed by now.

Super nice cozy holiday home

Arriving and feeling at home, that's how it was for us. Everything you need for a great vacation is there. The small welcome gift was very nice, thank you very much for that. The contact was only in writing, but very nice. The wagon in the house is also great, it made loading and unloading the car a bit easier. Mr. Kelderhues, you definitely need to take new photos, the new dining table and living room cabinet, as well as a part of the terrace, are much nicer than in the pictures. We can gladly recommend this cottage. We will also come back again.

The bungalow has a great location and is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The house is surrounded by a beautiful, well-kept garden. From the living area and the covered terrace (garden), you have a direct view of the dike. In terms of equipment, everything essential is there that you need. The water and beach are not far away. Numerous shopping opportunities and restaurants (in the town center of Lemmer) are nearby (5 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot).

Holiday Ijsselmeer

We have now been in this holiday home for the 2nd time and in this park for the 3rd time. The house has an excellent location directly behind the dike. Lemmer can be reached in around 1 kilometer. The house with garden and terrace is more than adequate for 2 people. It is well equipped and in immaculate condition. We were there with our dog and a small dog beach is also quickly reachable on foot. We were very satisfied.

Vacation July 2022

The most beautiful house in the row on the dike with a truly beautiful garden. Everything you need is available. Neat and clean. Just a few meters to the dike and beach. It is also not far to go shopping (Aldi, Lidl, butcher, etc. are easy to reach). In Lemmer, there are some shops and restaurants. We would love to come back again. Upon arrival at park Iselmar, the impression was not very high, and it is a matter of finding where the cottage is located. Once through the charming gate with gate number 42, you enter a true paradise! A very beautiful large garden with a clear view of the green dyke. We were immediately amazed. We especially liked the beach chair, which really gave us a holiday feeling. The garden is delightful, and with the veranda, you can always sit outside. The cottage is cozy, tidy, and nicely decorated. Clean! It has a spacious inventory. There is enough space for the 4 of us and the beds sleep well. All the extras available from the shed (bikes, BBQ, wagon, garden chairs, parasol, etc.) are really great! The WiFi also works fine.
From the park, you can walk directly onto the dike, and the beach is nearby. The cozy village center of Lemmer and shops are also close by.
The cottage, the garden, the location, the surroundings offer everything for a wonderful vacation equipped with all conveniences!

Movement and relaxation

The house is ideally located for cycling tours. Our car has been parked in the parking lot all week. You can discover many great places (e.g. Theetuin in Wijkel) or sit by the canals, watch the water, and observe ships. When you return to the terrace of the house, which has sun all day, you can watch the "Dyke movie": people moving along the dyke with or without a dog or bicycle. The heron is there in the morning.
The facilities are good.

The cottage offers a possibility for pure relaxation. With its cozy interior and perfect location, the cottage invites you to unwind. It has direct access to the beach and is only a 10-minute walk from the village. The surroundings are very peaceful, and you can enjoy the terrace in both good and bad weather, as it is covered. The garden is beautifully landscaped and invites you to linger. Great bungalow with a fantastic garden

We felt very comfortable in the bungalow from the first moment. There were three adults and we had more than enough space for everything. Everything you need to feel comfortable was there, we didn't miss anything in the kitchen either.
The best part was, of course, the beautifully maintained garden with the lovely view of the dyke. We were lucky with the weather and were able to use the terrace a lot. And it was a beautiful walk over the dike to get directly to the village of Lemmer.
It was a very nice accommodation that we can definitely recommend and that we will surely visit again.

The holiday home is very well equipped. We didn't want for anything. It was clean and comfortably furnished. The fenced garden is also nice, so you can be sure that the dog won't run away. We rented two different bungalows from Mr Kelderhuis for the second year in a row (each for 2 weeks).
The landlord is 100% reliable and you can contact him at any time and get prompt assistance (even if it is not purely about the object, but for example about planned activities in the area).
Special wishes/requests for e.g. children's high chair, cot are dealt with courteously and fulfilled 100% (thank you very much again)
The furnishings are absolutely fine and you always feel welcome and at home.
The beach and the sea are only a few minutes away and for our family it is certain that this is not the last time we have been on holiday there.

Unfortunately, we have to leave again tomorrow. My wife, I, and our 2 Labradors felt very comfortable here. Nothing was missing. The furnishings really leave nothing to be desired. Every little detail was just right. Mr. Kelderhuis, the manager, personally greeted us on the day of arrival and was very accommodating. Once I sent him a question by email... 15 minutes later he was here. Top! We wanted a relaxing holiday and that's what we got. We will definitely come back here. Our 2 dogs will certainly miss the long walks at the Ijsselmeer, especially the freedom to run and play with other dogs. Everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you.

Sehr gemütliches Häuschen

We can definitely recommend the holiday house, as we felt comfortable there right away. It is beautifully located by the dike and is perfectly equipped to enjoy a few days of peace and relaxation. The landlord is very attentive and helpful, we would love to come back.

Summer vacation 2017

That was a really great holiday. A vacation home like one dreams of. Beautiful location, very nice and cozy furnishings. Mr. Kelderhuis was so helpful and kind. A welcome gift... so sweet. For sure, this was not our first and last holiday in Lemmer. Preferably again in this house. Simply wonderfully beautiful.

Great house and large garden

The house was super beautiful and cozy! The garden was nice and big, and the kids had a lot of joy and fun. The surroundings were really lovely, and the sea was so close:-D:-) We can only recommend it, perfect for a family vacation but also very recommendable for a romantic holiday for two.

Urlaub

It is very beautiful and well-maintained,
everything is really great.
2 things that could/should be improved:
The double bed needs new mattresses!!!!
And the ladies' bike should be serviced, the chain frequently jumps off!!

Worth coming back.

If you are looking for peace and a great house, this is the right place. Our dog also felt comfortable here. Open the door and he was lying on the meadow, which was very well-kept like the whole garden. Nothing was missing. We can only recommend bicycles, wagons, etc.

Perfect bungalow in a perfect location.

Beautiful holiday home directly overlooking the dike! Excellent amenities, lovely furnishings, and very friendly support for any questions or issues! The inventory even includes two bicycles and a handcart!

It was beautiful, and our week of vacation flew by.
Everything just clicked: the lovingly furnished house, the location, the little village, and even the weather was great.
Our dogs were also very welcome and had a fantastic week.

Summer 2016

We had a wonderful holiday in this cottage. Rarely have I experienced such a well-equipped vacation home. Nothing is missing, there are even sharp knives and good pans (which I usually bring with me). A grill is also available. The location directly on the dike is beautiful and undisturbed. We were certainly not here for the last time and are very happy to recommend the cottage!

Super lovingly furnished cottage in a fantastic location. The cottage offers all the amenities your heart desires. The garden with a beautiful terrace is wonderfully designed and with a direct view of the dunes. Here you can unwind and relax. We will not be the last time here.
