Location and surroundings of object

The holiday flat is located on the first floor of a residential and commercial building, above the bookshop, directly on Ueckermünde market. Despite its central location, it is decidedly green and quiet, as the bedroom faces the romantic inner courtyard. Numerous authors, musicians and visual artists have been guests here.

It's nice that you have decided to spend your holiday at the Szczecin Lagoon. Here you will find a well-developed cycling and hiking network, many sights, water, forests and meadows in seemingly endless expanses and much more. Cosy cafés and restaurants invite you to linger. But also the bathing beaches in Ueckermünde and Bellin, the widely known zoo, the Haff Museum, the KULTurSPEICHER, the Marienkirche, the ZERUM with many offers, the leisure centres, the town library, the passenger boat service, the boat rental, the adventure farm "Haffküste", the cinema, mini-golf, skater track and much more are waiting for your visit. Numerous cultural and sporting events take place in summer, just a few of which are mentioned here: Ueckermünde Haff Sail, Harbour Festival, Old Town Spectacle, Music Summer, Ueckermünde Haff Days, Beach Volleyball Tournament.
Discover Ueckermünde and also pay a visit to the surrounding villages on the lagoon coast, such as Mönkebude or Altwarp. From Ueckermünde, discover the Hanseatic cities of Greifswald and Stralsund, the sunny island of Usedom and, with less than a two-hour drive, Berlin is not far away either.

In Ueckermünde, there is not only the lovingly restored old town to discover, but also the Friedrich Wagner bookshop located directly on the market square. This traditional bookshop has an unusually large selection of books

and an art room. With regular exhibitions, readings, concerts and a programme cinema series, the Friedrich Wagner Bookshop is one of the most active independent bookshops in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The
Cultural award of the town of Ueckermünde and the 2003 nomination in Hamburg as a beacon of the book trade landscape
bear impressive witness to this. Musicians, painters, authors, translators and readers come here to end the evening with a glass of wine and long conversations. Since 2007, a guest/holiday flat directly above the bookshop has been inviting visitors to stay all year round. Equipped with good books and a view of the romantic inner courtyard, you can find peace and relaxation in the middle of the historic old town.
