Description
Lovingly renovated old half-timbered house, which has been ecologically restored (with loam plaster, stone pine wood, country house floorboards). The granny flat with separate entrance is located on the first floor on the left side of the house. Please note that the room height in the living room and bedroom is only 1.95m. In the bedroom there is a double bed and the over 200 years old wooden floorboards could be preserved in their original condition. In the living room there is a large couch on which one person can also sleep. Due to the combination of clay and sandstone, the house is pleasantly cool in summer and clay walls and country house floorboards provide pleasant warmth in winter. The underfloor heating in the bathroom ensures warm feet even in winter. In the garden there is an open fireplace that invites you to cosy barbecue evenings. The flat has its own small terrace. Extra beds are possible for up to 2 people

Location and surroundings of object
We are at a dead end, in the valley next to the Gründel Bach. A few meters away, the forest begins and the nature reserve of Saxon Switzerland. Due to our location we are spared from the traffic noise, and human and animal can move around safely. When the time comes the fireflies, this can be observed directly in the garden to hundreds. The house has a dog (Settermix), a cat and goats.

Cancellation terms:
If a cancellation is made more than 30 days before the arrival date, the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee. If the cancellation is made within 30 days before the arrival date, we will charge 40% of the total amount as a cancellation fee. From 14 days before the start of the trip, as well as in case of no-show, the entire rental price will be charged.

The flat was very clean, the welcome by the hostess very warm. the apartment is very centrally located and yet very quiet
Everything is within easy reach.
I felt comfortable and spent a few nice days there with my dog.

Lovingly renovated holiday flat directly by the forest
We felt very comfortable! The Meyer family is very friendly and accommodating. The flat is cosy, beautiful, lovingly renovated and has everything you need.
We also had our two dogs with us, who were obviously very happy. From the accommodation you are in less than 5 minutes directly in the National Park or in 10 minutes at the Elbe. A dream for nature-loving people and dogs.
We would love to come back!
