Location and surroundings of object
Our farm is located in the heart of Saxon Switzerland, in Rathmannsdorf in Saxony, nestled between meadows and fields. Only a small road connects us to the village. Thus, you will find soothing peace away from everyday hustle and bustle, complete with a fantastic view of the rock formations of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.
It's only a 15-minute walk down into the Elbe Valley & to Bad Schandau with various shopping facilities, restaurants, the National Park Centre, and connections to bus, train, and ferry. Our property, with its old trees and the small natural pond, provides plenty of undisturbed space for playing, relaxing, and unwinding.
You can get a small cinematic impression of our farm by watching one of the feature films "Der Ranger-Paradies Heimat". You can find these in the MDR media library. Our farm is the main setting of these feature films. Between 2018 and 2020, two episodes were filmed every summer.
