Description
Relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and let your soul unwind in the beautifully situated and cozy holiday home 'Villa Maria'. The location on a quiet side street in Cala Llombards offers you Mediterranean flair. Relax under palm trees in the shade of the arcades or sunbathe on the roof terrace with a view of the sea or towards Santanyi with the hinterland and the mountains. The garden around the house offers you the diverse plant world of the Mediterranean region. The surroundings are ideal for jogging, cycling, and hiking.
The approximately 90 m² living area in the house includes 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a large living and dining room with a dining table with five chairs, a couch, an armchair, and a flat-screen TV. Outside, there are additional seating options and a dining table available on the shaded terrace. On the rooftop terrace, loungers also invite you to linger.
In addition to the bathroom in the house, there is also a toilet and a cold-water shower with access from the outside area.
The bedrooms are equipped with mosquito screens on the windows, mosquito nets over the beds, and smoke detectors. In the living room and in the two bedrooms with double beds, there is an air conditioner in each. The house is functionally equipped. The house has a fiber optic internet connection (300 Mb download / 300 Mb upload). Internet access via a router is free.

Location and surroundings of object
The small village of Cala Llombards is located in the southeast of Mallorca. From Palma airport, Cala Llombards is about 50 km away. The house is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Cala Llombards. One of the most beautiful bays in the southeast of Mallorca, Cala Llombards with a child-friendly sandy beach, is only about 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car from the house. In the centre of Cala Llombards there is a bar and a small supermarket. Santanyi is about 10 minutes away by car. In Santanyi there is a market every Wednesday and Saturday and there are numerous shopping possibilities, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. With Cala del Moro and Cala S'Almunia, there are other fantastic bays and beaches nearby. Colonia St. Jordi with the longest sandy beach in Mallorca, Es Trenc, can be reached by car in about 20 minutes.

Arrival is possible on the day of arrival from 3:00 p.m. at the earliest. On the day of departure, the holiday home must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. at the latest. Exceptions are possible by prior arrangement.
Everyday items such as dish soap, toilet paper, etc. must be brought by the tenants themselves. For longer stays, a washing machine, a clothesline on the rooftop terrace, and a drying rack are available.
The rental property, including the furniture and other items in it, must be treated with care and respect.

Wonderful starting point for discovering the island
A cozy holiday home, equipped with everything you need.
Living under palm trees, while the nearest sandy beaches are just a short walk away, including one of the most beautiful bays on the entire island; however, a small climbing section is necessary to get there.
The Hartwein family is always easily reachable and has provided everything in the holiday home, including mosquito nets over the beds and professional traps to deal with the pesky mosquitoes. The two sweet cats come to pick up food, water, and little strokes in the morning and evening.
Located far in the southwest, it is still a nice starting point to explore the entire island: Even the furthest northern point of Mallorca can be reached by car in under two hours.

Beautiful vacation
We (3 adults and 1 teenager) had a lovely vacation at the "Villa Maria." The accommodation is very clean and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The on-site support and contact with the landlord were very good. We particularly enjoyed the coast near Cala lLombards with its various coves and sandy beaches. We took several hikes along the cliffs with wonderful views. We recommend the "Villa Maria"!

Vacation with Cats
We visited Villa Maria with our adult children to refresh memories of a long-ago vacation in Santanyí. Additionally, we are cat owners/lovers and were able to combine the pleasant with the useful. The holiday home is wonderfully quiet; there was sun, shade, an outdoor toilet, and enough space for everyone. If only those treacherous mosquitoes hadn't been around! We had been warned about them, but unfortunately, it didn't help!

Herzlichen Dank für Ihre Bewertung.
Speziell nach Regenfällen kann es dazu kommen, dass zeitweise vermehrt Mücken auftreten. Dies ist leider im gesamten Mittelmeerraum möglich.
Im Haus sind Mückengitter an den Fenstern der Schlafzimmer und an der Haustüre angebracht. Über allen Betten hängen zudem Moskitonetze, die bei Bedarf verwendet werden können.
Alle als Brutstätten nutzbaren stehenden Wasseransammlungen im Außenbereich sind unbedingt zu vermeiden. Zudem sollten alle Behälter (z. B. Eimer, Gießkannen etc.) so aufbewahrt werden, dass sich darin kein Regenwasser unbemerkt ansammeln kann.
Rund um das Haus sind im Garten professionelle Mückenfallen aufgestellt. Verbesserungsvorschläge werden wir nach Möglichkeit gerne umsetzen. Zur neuen Saison haben wir die Anzahl der Mückenfallen im Außenbereich um das Haus erhöht.
Mückenschutz ist zu empfehlen.

Beautiful house in a quiet residential area
The house is located in a quiet residential area and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation, just as described in the advertisement.
We were there in July and never used the living room. The large covered terrace provides shade all day long and is very pleasant to stay on even in the midday heat.
A car is recommended and you can park directly in front of the house. The way to the beach is relatively strenuous with children (steep), but it's not an issue by car as there is a fairly large parking lot at the beach. However, you should arrive early (or in the late afternoon) to secure a parking spot. Many dreamy coves and beaches can be reached within 10-20 minutes by car. The market in Santanyi and the harbor of Cala Figuera are also worth a visit. The contact with the landlords was excellent both before and during/after the stay.
If we come back to this area of Mallorca, we would be happy to return.

Wonderful stay
I had a very nice time with my friends in the villa. The beach is within walking distance and you could enjoy the evening sun on the rooftop terrace. Everything was clean and two lovely cats came by to play. You should expect some mosquitoes, but with the air conditioning, it is great to stay in the house even in high temperatures. We will gladly come back!
