A dining area, lounge, satellit TV. Bedroom 1: has a double bed, a bunk bed, wardrobe and sink. Bedroom 2: has two single beds and wardrobe.Bathroom: is equipped with a shower, sink and toilet. Garden: from the garden you have a beautifull view of the Zillertal. The garden has gardenfuniture and an BBQ in the summer.

Welcome to the vacation home Braunhof. Our house is located in the middle of the beautiful Zillertal. It is 750 meters above sea level near the Gerlos/Mayrhofen turnoff and is surrounded by numerous skiing and hiking areas
From your luxurious and spacious apartment you have a magnificent view of the Zillertal and the surrounding mountains
In a few minutes you are in any of the famous surrounding towns such as Zell am Ziller, Mayrhofen, Gerlos or Fügen.
The house consists of 3 apartments, one of which is occupied by the owner
The other two apartments can be rented separately or together and offer space for a total of 2-14 people
Apartment Ziller is suitable for up to 6 people and apartment Gerlosstein for 8 people
Both are equipped with kitchen, bathroom and toilet and 2-3 bedrooms. Free Wlan and satellite TV.
Pets are allowed.

Fungus on the wall in the bedroom/
I do not recommend it to anyone if your health is the most important thing to you. Although the apartment was clean and nicely located, it has a significant downside. In the downstairs apartment that I rented with my children, there was fungus and mold on the wall in the main bedroom by the bed. This is absolutely unacceptable for health reasons. I suspect the owner deliberately cleaned or concealed it because there were no signs on the first day. Each subsequent day it grew bigger. Additionally, the wooden paneling above the bed masked it. When I reported this to the owner, he brought and threw the deposit money on the table and did not want to resolve this issue amicably in any way. He was unpleasant, even rude. He did not want to engage in a conversation to explain the situation. Moreover, the apartment was cold. When I reported this to the owner, he downplayed it and responded that it was warm, explaining that the apartment had underfloor heating. Not once during our entire stay did anyone in our family feel the floor being warm. The one radiator in the apartment was turned up to the maximum, but there was no heat coming from it. Again, the owner tried to convince us that the radiator was warm.
Overall, the apartment was okay, but the mold and fungus on the walls and the inability to heat the apartment during the winter are absolutely unacceptable. The owner's attitude also leaves much to be desired. He was not customer-oriented and quite unfriendly.
In conclusion, it’s a place with great potential but the biggest drawbacks are the mold and fungus on the bedroom wall, the lack of proper heating in the apartment during winter, and the unfriendly owner.

We (Peter Kanters and Pascale Braun) are a couple and come from the Netherlands. We live in the Zillertal since March 2012. We bought our house Braunhof in December 2012 and have since renovated. Now in 2022 we will be finished inside, although there is always something to improve. From next year we will tackle the outside of the building. We receive guests from all over Europe and we like it very much. We are looking forward to welcoming you in our house.
