We are an American family from Arizona and we wanted to stay for our vacation on the economy instead of the American facility in the Garmisch area. We found this apartment over the internet. We had no idea what to expect but were extremely pleased when we walked through the door. This apartment was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. There was even a bottle of wine left for us as a friendly gesture. By staying at this apartment we were also given a free bus pass for everyone in the room which came in very handy for going from Farchant to Garmisch. The town the vacation apartment was in was fantastic. Within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, bakeries,postal service and a bank. Special thanks to Frau Weber who patiently guided us through the booking process and Crissi and her boyfriend for helping us with their translating services. We would highly recommend this vacation apartment for your Germany vacation.

The kitchen invites you to cook, and the dining area with a uniquely beautiful view of the Zugspitze to eat. The balcony also lives up to its enchanting view of the mountain world. The location of the apartment (only 5 minutes to the town center) means everything is quickly accessible. The support was nice and very friendly. All in all, a successful holiday. The vacation rental is very nicely furnished and you immediately feel at home. Everything was clean and matched the picture descriptions, you felt comfortable right away. The panoramic view of the Zugspitze is unique and brought us a lot of joy in the cozy dining area. The ski area is not far away and there is plenty to discover in the surrounding area. The only downside is the inconvenient key pick-up and return. This takes place directly at the administrative building in Garmisch, and especially on the day of departure, it is unnecessarily time-consuming to wait in line with all the day tourists, just to start the journey home in the opposite direction. Even when asked, there was no other option, even though there is a key safe at the house.

Great apartment, everything you need is there. Only 3 small things that bothered me a bit: the mattress was a bit too soft for my taste, and a sunshade at the bay windows in the dining area would have been nice. Also, the lighting in the bathroom was a bit sparing. But all in all, really top-notch and highly recommended!! P.S. Those with small children will appreciate the playground nearby and the forest educational trail.

The vacation apartment met our expectations all around and we felt very comfortable in Farchant despite sometimes rainy weather. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with attention to detail; for example, dishwasher tabs, coffee filters, garbage bags. As a small limitation, I would only mention that the passing regional train nearby can be heard when the window is open, but it didn't bother us.

Hello Mr. Mahr, we stayed at your Alpenresidenz for the last four years and always felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, we have now been very disappointed. Firstly, the price of the apartment is supposed to increase by 40% for 2019. We cannot accept such a drastic increase. Secondly, when we politely asked if there was any possibility for "regular guests" to reconsider or soften this dramatic price increase, we were sharply rebuked. We were told to book elsewhere. This has upset us and we are disappointed. Even when I tried to speak with you on the phone, I was only told: Mr. Mahr is not available for such matters. We are currently looking elsewhere and will probably not spend our ski vacation in Farchant anymore. Perhaps you could handle our feedback amiably.

Dear Weber family, As we have been doing for several years, we always enjoy coming back to your holiday home. The apartment is very clean, well-equipped including the excellent box spring bed, great views, and the nice welcome by Mrs. Tobies. The property is centrally located. By bike, on foot, or by bus, you can reach the center of GAP in 4 kilometers. There are numerous excursion options, even in bad weather. The greeting was very friendly! The apartment is very beautiful with an immediate sense of well-being as soon as you enter it. We come from the beautiful Allgäu, where the world is still in order. The diversity of this nature, the nearby mountains, the good infrastructure, has given us so many opportunities to enjoy our week with wonderful and beautiful excursions, as well as beautiful moments. We will come back because we have not yet been able to explore everything. I received this recommendation from my daughter and it was a very good tip. Although one must be cautious with tips from other people, I can pass on this tip with a clear conscience. Nice greeting and uncomplicated key handover..... the apartment is uplifting... wonderfully bright and flooded with sunshine... beautiful tasteful furniture.. great kitchen with everything you need.... plenty of dishes and cutlery.... in the living room beautiful glass front... great bay window with seating area and full view of the entire mountain range with Zugspitze.... tasteful bathroom with shower and tub... two great bedrooms and very good box spring bed... large closet in the bedroom.... Super pleasant warm heated apartment in a beautiful quiet location with a dreamy view.... Underground parking space and elevator to the apartments are pure luxury and very pleasant. Only 5 minutes walk to the Farchant village shop... fresh rolls, bread, sausage and everything you need... 5 minutes by car to the supermarket.... 10 minutes to Garmisch..... we were very excited and have already booked again.... Everything was spotlessly clean and basically everything you need was available, from baking paper to coffee filters and plenty of dishwasher tabs, which is not the case everywhere. The only thing missing when we arrived was a spare roll of toilet paper. We really liked the location. It was an all-around successful holiday. We felt very comfortable. We can only recommend the apartment.

We were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Tobies after a long journey and then we were able to take possession of a tastefully furnished, very clean holiday apartment. Rooms furnished with attention to detail make the holiday really feel like a holiday. We were very pleased that dogs are welcome in the house, and the cleanliness doesn't even give a hint that dogs come in and out of the apartments!!! Another improvement suggestion: leave an information folder in the holiday apartment and have another one to show in the office. We felt very comfortable.

The apartment is pleasantly bright and friendly. The rooms are spacious, the balcony offers a great view. For a "luxury holiday apartment," I missed several small things: a household scissors and hanging options for wet dish towels. With 4 people in the apartment like us, you quickly reach your limits when hanging towels in the bathroom. There is a lack of a basket or box for dirty towels (could be provided, for example, in the basement). I did not give the full score for "service/support" because there were 3 light bulbs defective in the apartment. Also one in the underground garage. The elevator is a luxurious part of the building, but in my opinion, it was not necessary with 5 apartments. The downside is that you can constantly hear the elevator in the apartment. People use it for just one floor quite often. I find the underground garage too narrow. If you arrive with a larger station wagon or SUV, you will have to maneuver a lot.

We spent 14 very nice and very warm days at Hochgefühl. We were greeted in a very friendly way and later also said goodbye. The flat is well equipped, everything has been thought of. we have been your guests at the Alpenresidenz for the last four years and have always felt very comfortable.
Unfortunately, we have now been very disappointed. Firstly, because the price of the flat is to increase by 40% for 2019. We cannot accept such a drastic increase.
On the other hand, we were rudely rebuked when we politely asked if there was any possibility for "regular guests" to withdraw or relativise this dramatic price increase. Then we should just book somewhere else.
This has left us disappointed.
Even when I tried to talk to you on the phone, I only got the information: Mr. Mahr is not available for such things.
In the meantime, we are looking elsewhere and will probably no longer spend our skiing holiday in Farchant. Perhaps there will be a pleasant feedback process on your part.

The flat contains everything a holidaymaker's heart needs. It is bright and very spacious, quiet and everything has been lovingly thought out down to the smallest detail. The kitchen invites you to cook and the dining area with its uniquely beautiful view of the Zugspitze to eat. The balcony also lives up to its enchanting view of the mountains. The location of the flat (only 5 minutes to the village centre ), so everything is within easy reach.

The flat is pleasantly bright and friendly. The rooms are large, the balcony offers a great view.
For a "luxury holiday flat" I was missing several little things: Household scissors and hanging facilities for wet tea towels. If you are in the flat with 4 people, as we were, you quickly reach your limits when hanging up hand towels in the bathroom. For dirty towels, there is no basket / box (which could be provided in the cellar, for example).

I did not give full points for "service/support" because 3 light bulbs were defective in the flat. There was also one in the underground car park.

The lift is a luxurious part of the house, but in my opinion it would not have been necessary with 5 flats. The disadvantage is that you can constantly hear the lift in the apartment. Of course, people often use it for just one floor.

I find the underground car park too narrow. If you arrive with a larger estate car or SUV, you have to crank a lot.

For many years I have been writing at this point: The only disturbing thing is the directly adjacent railway line. But this remark is deleted from my evaluation every year.
