Holiday home - Mainzerhaus - located on the edge of a field close to nature with a far-reaching view, - and in the direct vicinity of the surf lake.
Central to the North Sea coast.
Smoking is not permitted in the rental property.

Enjoy your holiday in this modern and comfortably furnished Mainz house with its own boat (canoe) at the house.
The house offers a smoke-free zone, peace and quiet and space for up to 4 people and everything you could wish for during the most important days of the year, during your holiday.
Your day begins with breakfast on the large terrace with sun awning. You can enjoy the warm summer evening with a glass of red wine, or you can snuggle up in front of the fireplace and let yourself be captured by the magic of the flames.

We are always happy to take up suggestions from our guests in order to constantly improve the facilities and services on offer for the benefit of our guests.
On the 400 sqm enclosed property, garden furniture, sun loungers and a beach chair with reclining function invite you to laze around. A mobile barbecue station is available for your barbecue party.
In the living room, a flat-screen TV with satellite TV awaits you to provide you with the latest news. A DVD player, radio and another radio with CD in the kitchen provide the best entertainment. In the 2nd bedroom on the first floor there is also a radio and an additional TV.
The refrigerator with **** star freezer allows you to store even larger purchases. Washing machine, a cooking centre with retractable knobs incl. oven, ceramic hob, microwave, sufficient crockery etc. are part of the standard equipment of this house.
At the push of a button, a gas central heating and the wood-burning stove (not at the push of a button - but with wood) provide cosy warmth even on cooler days.
No buzzing pests will disturb your sleep. This is ensured by the fly screen blinds, which can be easily opened and closed to the side.
On the upper floor are the 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each. One room with a double bed, which is already made up for you with cosy micro bed linen and an additional radio. Another room with 2 single beds, which can be pushed together. A high chair for children is also available in the house.
In the boathouse there are 4 bicycles for adults and a canoe and paddle at your free disposal. (Use at your own risk).
With the slip cart you can bring the boat quickly and safely to the water and back again.
In the trolley you can load everything you need to take to the beach (5 min. to the beach Großes Meer).
You can rent a boat at the paddle and pedal station "Am GrossenMeer".

On a 400 sqm fenced plot, the house is quietly situated in a dead-end street of the holiday home settlement, in a direct near-natural field edge location with a kilometre-wide view from the kitchen-cum-living-room and your breakfast place over meadows, on which animals can be observed again and again, in changing variety.
(Not only cows), so be sure to bring binoculars.
And yet close to the central action.
It is a 5-minute walk to the Großes Meer beach. Likewise to the kiosk for bread rolls and small purchases. There are cosy pubs around the corner: Klönschnack -Haus am See or the "Landhaus". There is a children's playground and a sand court with a net for volleyball.

The Mainz house is highly recommended.
Arrive and feel at home. Everything you need for daily life is available. You can relax on the terrace and be at the lake in a few minutes.
We were very satisfied with the house and the friendly contact with the Schmitt family.
We would love to come back!!

Mainz House
It was a wonderful relaxing holiday.

Beautiful family holiday by the Great Sea
We felt very comfortable as a family with two small children (3Y, 7M) in the Mainzerhaus and enjoyed our stay there. The house offers enough space to play inside even in rainy weather, and nothing else is missing. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen and enough crockery and cutlery to keep it full. For East Frisian tea enjoyment, there are even cream spoons in addition to a teapot, tea cups and kluntje! The possibility to use the washing machine is very convenient, especially for small children and/or longer stays. And much of what was offered we could not even try out because of the short time (bicycles, handcart, etc.). At least we could try out the beach chair and the terrace in the April sunshine.
The house is in the back row, it's a few minutes' walk to the beach at the Großes Meer, but that's no problem at all. Because the view at breakfast extends over an open meadow full of rabbits, geese, deer and other animals. We were even able to watch a kingfisher once. In addition, the property is completely fenced in, so that neither small children nor pets can simply escape. The house is also not directly on the canal (an important criterion for families with small children), so we felt very safe.
We are already looking forward to our next holiday, for which we definitely have the Mainzerhaus on the agenda.

Top quality holiday home, ideal for those seeking peace and quiet
The holiday home is equipped with every little detail so that you don't need to bring any utensils with you. Inventory list in the kitchen also helps to find what is where.
The fireplace (with firewood in the shed) is really nice on cold days to make yourself comfortable. The comfortable TV armchair and the huge TV do the rest.
The fenced garden is also ideal for dog owners like us
We recommend the dog beach in Norddeich and a trip to the Knock in Emden, where you can walk for miles along the natural beach, depending on the season (we were in the low season).
Arrival and departure absolutely problem-free due to the handover of keys by Tresor.
