When you first come to Querceto near Ponteginori in the municipality of Montecatini Val di Cecina, you seem to be on a journey back in time. The tiny, ancient village is not spoiled by the usual new housing developments on the outskirts
The family that owns this small hamlet, which nestles with its narrow streets around the castle with its imponent tower, can look back on a centuries-old history. The name of Ginori became famous all over the world thanks to the ceramics and porcelain factory, whose exceptionally beautiful tableware has graced many a festive table in the dining rooms of famous noble houses over the centuries.
For some years now, the descendants of this famous Florentine family have devoted themselves to the cultivation of wine. The excellent red "Castello Ginori" matures in barrique barrels under the vaulted ceiling of the old theater of Querceto. On request, a guided tour of the cellar followed by a tasting can be organized for smaller groups.
The few inhabitants of the village (the number varies between 30 and 40 people) welcome the holidaymaker with great cordiality in their midst, so that the vacationer quickly feels at home.
In the small bar/trattoria "La Locanda del Sole" you can enjoy an Italian breakfast in the morning (consisting of a cornetto and a cappuccino) and Tuscan delicacies for lunch and dinner. Of course, the place is also a meeting point to have a chat with your vacation neighbors or the locals over an espresso.
After a short walk behind the old city wall you reach the communal garden, where the pool (18 x 8 m) is located. From here you have a magnificent view of the valley and after a refreshing swim you can enjoy the day in heavenly peace. In the center of the small hamlet there is a communal terrace with tables, chairs, umbrellas and wi-fi available to all vacation guests.
The vacation accommodations of different sizes are all - with one exception - in different houses of the medieval hamlet. The exception is a detached house Podere La Fontaccia, which is located outside the city walls and includes a private garden.
APARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Mezzanine - a large living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with exit to the terrace, where there is a dining table with chairs, and a comfortable sitting area. Second floor - 1 bedroom with double bed with canopy, a second bedroom with 2 single beds overlooking the wonderful Mediterranean scrub. Both bedrooms have a private bathroom with shower/WC.

Maßgeblich ist der Zugang der Erklärung bei Toscana Sì. Wenn der Rücktritt nicht von Toscana Sì zu vertreten ist und kein Fall höherer Gewalt vorliegt und falls auch kein Ersatzmieter gefunden werden kann, bleibt vorbehalten, eine angemessene Entschädigung gemäß folgender Aufstellung zu verlangen: Bei Rücktritt bis 30 Tage vor Mietbeginn 20% des Gesamtpreises, vom 29. bis 21. Tag vor Mietbeginn 50% des Gesamtpreises, vom 20. bis 11. Tag vor Mietbeginn 80% des Gesamtpreises, vom 10. Tag vor Mietbeginn bis Mietbeginn 90% des Gesamtpreises. Bei Nichterscheinen sind 90% des Gesamtpreises zu zahlen.
