Villa Pegasus leaves nothing to be desired. Enjoy the most beautiful time of the year in this dream villa with panoramic views!
The villa is divided into three levels and partly built in traditional stone construction. It guarantees absolute privacy. The fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and the dining area are located on the ground floor
The living area is also located here. It is equipped with comfortable sofas, fireplace and satellite TV. There is also a stereo system and DVD player. You will also find books, games, CDs and DVDs. The living room has AC, of course. Internet access is possible by means of a surf stick. From the kitchen and the living room you have access to the 90 sqm terrace through large patio doors. Here you will find a dining area and an additional seating area, which is furnished with high-quality rattan furniture. The terrace is largely shaded with pergolas
Via 5 steps you reach two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower and is equipped with a four-poster bed and SAT-TV. The second bedroom also has a double bed, and also has SAT TV. The attached bathroom has a shower. From both bedrooms you have direct access to the well-kept garden, the terraces and the pool.
The third bedroom is located in the basement and is particularly spacious. It is equipped with two single beds and of course also has a satellite TV. The adjoining large bathroom is equipped with a corner bathtub. From this bedroom you also have direct access to the garden and pool area
All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and are equipped with air conditioning and fans. In addition, the villa is of course equipped with bathrobes, towels, shower towels and bed linen. (Baby cot and high chair available if required.) There are shutters and fly screens on all windows. Internet is available via WLAN.
The pool is approx. 10 x 4.5 m and has a separate children's pool. The pool area is also equipped with very high quality garden furniture. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water is also located in the pool area
Enjoy your morning exercise on the large terrace. The villa is equipped with a yoga mat. If desired, Mira, the yoga teacher can be booked and will be happy to come to your villa
Enjoy the fantastic panorama!
Sunbathe in the Mediterranean garden and enjoy a wonderful barbecue on the terrace. A brick barbecue with outdoor sink is ready for you in the garden.
You can park your car in the shaded double carport.
In the villa you will find a telescope and binoculars for observing the starry sky and nature. Griffon vultures circle here almost daily.

The villa was built on one of the most exclusive locations in Crete. Here you combine an absolutely quiet location with a dream view with the proximity to the third largest city on Crete, villa stands on a plot of over 2000 sqm. You have a fantastic view of the sea, the Akrotiri peninsula, the White Mountains, the hinterland and Psiloritis, the highest mountain in Crete at 2456 metres
In a few minutes you can reach various sights. Rethymnon is only a stone's throw away and in 25 minutes you are in the south of Crete. Our Villa Pegasus is located just outside the village of Kastellos. The village is only about 10 minutes away from Rethymnon, the third largest city in Crete. In Kastellos there are 2 taverns. For shopping, drive to the village of Armeni, 2 km away. Here you will find several tavernas, a bakery, a butcher and a pharmacy.

A little time out in the high season
This is the fifth time we have stayed at Villa Pegasus. Normally we always come to Crete in May or September as it is not so crowded at these times. This year we had the opportunity for a little time out in the middle of high season and we were not disappointed with our stay. Due to its slightly higher location, it never got too hot for us in Villa Pegasus, even in August - despite daytime temperatures of 30 degrees. A pleasant breeze and of course the large pool contributed decisively to this. Comfortable loungers and plenty of seating in the outdoor area also ensure that you are actually outside all day in the summer. Everything was clean and well maintained and I have a good comparison with other accommodations I have stayed in. The care by the landlords is particularly noteworthy, from the welcome to the tips for tavernas and excursions, everything has a very personal touch. One more reason to come back.

The perfect villa for the perfect vacation.
We were four people in this Kretafan-Villa. It was a dream. The villa had everything we needed. The house was as described, the directions were perfect, we found it immediately. Almost no one drives on the little road that runs along the bottom. Occasionally a pickup truck. Helga and Josef greeted us and were always there for us if we had any questions. Thanks for the tavern tips! We hiked through several valleys. It was a dream. Oranges and lemons were everywhere on the trees, simply delightful. We can recommend the villa. And we will come back. Carolina and company.
