Description
The incredible panoramic view is the main feature of this 160 m² villa with two levels. This comfort villa in modern style is situated in the middle of a lovingly and elaborately landscaped 2000 m² hillside plot. The luxurious house of good construction and equipment quality has spacious living areas designed in modern elegance as well as three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The large windows provide plenty of light and sea views - a dream panorama. This beauty can also be enjoyed from the two large terraces. Furthermore, the villa has a swimming pool, a covered carport for 2 cars and a barbecue grill. You can't explain it, you just have to experience it.
All rooms have shutters or blinds and are equipped with fly screens. For further comfort, there is underfloor heating (payment on site, the villa has solar heating and additionally oil heating!)), which makes the house also interesting for long-term holidaymakers in the colder months. In addition, the villa is of course equipped with towels, shower towels, bathrobes, tea towels and bed linen. (We are happy to provide a baby cot and high chair)
Of course, bed linen and towels are provided and changed once a week, or twice if you wish. The villa is cleaned once a week.
In the garden there is a swimming pool of approx. 35 m² and an outdoor shower. You will find a brick barbecue, a gas barbecue and an outdoor sink in the terrace area.
A car is recommended to explore the wonderful surroundings. Just park it under the shaded carport that is ready for you. We will be happy to assist you with your booking.
In front of the living room are large terraces and the spacious pool area, which is equipped with high-quality seating furniture, loungers and a dining area. Let the Mediterranean planted garden invite you to dream.
The living room terrace and the sunbathing terrace have shaded pergolas.
Of course, the villa has AC in the living area and in each bedroom. The villa is equipped with Vodafone WI-FI without data limit .
In the basement there are three bedrooms, (2x each 1 DB and 1x 2 EB with separate bathroom) which are equipped with built-in wardrobes, TV (SAT), etc.. Two bedrooms have direct access to an extra terrace with super sea view. Both daylight bathrooms have a shower, WC and washbasin.
Enjoy your morning exercise on the large terrace. The villa is equipped with a yoga mat. If desired, Mira, the yoga teacher, can be booked and will gladly come to your villa.

The villa was built on one of the most exclusive locations in Crete. Here you combine an absolutely quiet location with a dream view with the proximity to the third largest city on Crete, villa stands on a plot of over 2000 sqm. You have a fantastic view of the sea, the Akrotiri peninsula, the White Mountains, the hinterland and Psiloritis, the highest mountain in Crete at 2456 metres
In a few minutes you can reach various sights. Rethymnon is only a stone's throw away and in 25 minutes you are in the south of Crete. There are two tavernas in Kastellos. The next bigger village is Armeni at a distance of about 2 km. Here you can find everything you need. Taverns, baker, butcher. In about 10 minutes you can reach Rethymnon with its beautiful old town. The south is about 30 minutes away.

Dream villa with dream view
We really liked Maffeo and fell in love with it immediately. It has everything and even more than you could wish for. The villa was very clean and well maintained, but that's how we know the Kretafan Villas! Helga and Sifis gave us good advice and some insider tips again. This year we have already been to Crete and Beibls for the third time. We can recommend the house with a clear conscience. From Kastellos, you can reach Plakias, Damnoni, etc. in the south in 25 minutes. The Preveli Monastery is almost on the way. We will definitely come back. The four from Bavaria.

Villa as an eyrie

Pure view and nature
Villa Maffeo is the best thing that could have happened to us on this holiday. The view is overwhelming. The house is fully equipped, with everything your heart desires. The pool is super. Huge birds of prey circle overhead almost every day, just super. In a short time we were in the south at the beaches, the monastery Preveli and other sights. There are tavernas in Armeni, just a few minutes away. And of course the taverna in Kastellos near Vassili. We then stayed in a second villa of the Beibl`s during this holiday. Villa without any restrictions

Ideal villa to explore Crete.
The villa is the ideal starting point for exploring the island. The villa was as always top maintained and everything was in order. We were in the tavern in Goules, Gonia, and at Antonis in Prines. All super delicious. In about 20 minutes, you are in the south in Plakias.
