The log house, which is located outside Bodstedt, was newly built in 2011. The wood from which this house is made comes from Siberia and was imported especially for the construction of this log house.
This house has two separate flats. This offer refers to the flat in the attic. In another advertisement we also offer the ground floor flat. You are welcome to rent both flats at the same time, if both are available in the desired period. We will grant you a discount. Just ask us if you are interested.
The house itself has a garden of approx. 490 sqm which can be used by you. There are also two barbecue areas and garden furniture. Two bicycles are already included in the rental price.
The flat has two balconies and can be reached via an outside staircase.
In the living room, you have the option of folding out the couch to provide overnight accommodation for two more people. Thus, 4 adults can stay overnight. There is also a fireplace in the living room for cosy hours. However, you will have to bring your own wood.
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with freezer, cooker and oven, as well as a coffee maker, kettle, egg boiler and toaster. Of course, there are dishes and a dishwasher

Location and surroundings of object
Our log home is located in a quiet position on a field edge. Bodstedt is a quiet place near the famous Baltic resorts Zingst (approx. 10 km) and in about 4 km away Barth offers great shopping and restaurants. Again, evening events are offered. A bakery is located 1 km away in Pruchten. Bodstedt in itself, there are also restaurants.

Very nice holiday apartment on the upper floor of the log cabin.
We were able to secure the apartment on the upper floor for 4 people for 2 days at the turn of the year 2024/2025 at very short notice. Due to time constraints, there was no support on-site, but everything was easily clarified in advance with the landlord over the phone. At this point, a big compliment and thank you for offering accommodation even for just 2 days, unlike other providers who require a minimum stay of 5-7 days. Not everyone has vacation and can stay longer. That’s why we were able to celebrate New Year's Eve at the pier in Zingst and admire the beautiful fireworks.
The apartment is rustic, pretty but also modern, and additionally very cozy with the fireplace. The sofa bed in the living room is very comfortable; you really sleep well on it.
At Wolli's / Café and Bar on the holiday grounds, we had a great time outdoors in the afternoon by the fire pit with nice people. We felt very comfortable here and would come back.

Sehr schöne Blockhütte
We spent our summer vacation here in August 2013. The attic apartment was very nicely furnished. The kitchen had everything one needs for cooking and washing up (dishwasher). The bathroom is modern and equipped with a shower. From the balcony, you have a beautiful view of the birch trees and a cornfield behind them. From the kitchen window, you can see the sunset wonderfully over the Bodden. The living room is also equipped with all kinds of technology to watch a movie in the evening.
We were very pleased. . . the communication with the landlord and the contact person on site worked great. The documents were sent quickly and without any problems. The on-site support was very pleasant and uncomplicated.
We were thrilled and can recommend the Blockhaus Alex without any doubt.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die Ferienanlage in der sich das Ferienhaus befindet ist sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die Häuser sind alle neu und liegen in ruhiger Lage. Es gab in unserer Zeit keine nennenswerten Belästigungen durch Ruhestörungen. Das einzigste was uns persönlich gefehlt hat, war ein Spielplatz für die zahlreichen Kinder vor Ort. Schade.
free time activities: Uns bekanntliche Freizeitmöglichkeiten vor Ort sind der Strand von Bodstedt. Er ist vom Domicil zu Fuß in ca. 20 Minuten und mit Auto in ca. 8 Minuten erreicht. Ansonsten mit dem Auto nach Prerow und Zingst zum Strand. Das ist eine kurze Autofahrt wert. Was das parken angeht...in Prerow und Zingst ist man mit einer Tagesgebühr zwischen 3,- und 5,- Euro dabei. Eine Fahrt nach Stralsund dauert im Schnitt eine Stunde. Wer ins Meeresmuseum will...speziell ins Ozeaneum sollte unbedingt die Karten online vorbestellen und ausdrucken...das spart eine Menge Wartezeit vor Ort, weil man gleich durchgehen kann. Das war jedenfalls unsere Erfahrung.
shopping facilities: Einkaufen kann man wunderbar in Barth. Alles vorhanden;Lidl, Netto; Aldi und famila. Der Fahrt von der Ferienwohnung nach Barth dauert 15 Minuten. Man ist fix vor Ort.
