In Breege on the island of Rügen, fantastic thatched-roof houses with a magnificent water view over the Great Jasmund Bodden were built in a dreamlike setting of sea, beach, dune and forest.
The thatched house Deichkrone is a semi-detached house, fully furnished, meets even the highest demands and is heated with geothermal heating.
The thatched roof and modern, high-quality furnishings with matching living accessories create a cosy and comfortable ambience. Upscale, tasteful furnishings, a light-flooded living area with a large window front and a wood-burning stove add flair, while the underfloor heating throughout the house provides cosy warmth all year round.
There are two parking spaces belonging to the holiday home on the property.
The footpath to the fantastically wide white sandy beach in Juliusruh is only a short and comfortable walk with children, children's toys, and a play wagon or bicycle (approx. 400 m). Once there, you have a nine-kilometre-long fine sandy beach under your feet.
From the Reethaus Deichkrone you have a unique wide view over the dyke to the water of the Großer Jasmunder Bodden. From the large terrace, which faces both south and west, you will experience unforgettable sunsets in the evening. Relax on the large terrace after an eventful summer day or enjoy the cosy warmth of the crackling fireplace after an autumn walk on the beach or on a bone-chillingly cold winter day.
So that you can safely store your bicycles, we have built a lockable bicycle shed on the property.

1870 hours of sunshine a year, a fine sandy beach and the most beautiful clean Baltic Sea water await you. Among connoisseurs, the seaside resort of Breege-Juliusruh is the insider's tip in the north of Rügen.
Breege impresses its visitors with its direct proximity to the idyllic landscape of the Great Jasmund Bodden. In summer, this invites visitors to take interesting boat and sailing trips, to go on relaxing fishing trips, and in winter to go ice skating or walking on the usually glassy ice cover of the Bodden. Of course, the Bodden is also a popular place for swimming, especially as the water is usually a few degrees warmer than the open Baltic Sea.
In the seaside resort of Breege-Juliusruh there are sufficient shopping facilities. There are also good restaurants and cafes, as well as an ATM and doctors. Sporty guests can rent bicycles at several rental points in Breege.
The centre of the village is undoubtedly the beautiful Breege harbour with its cosy restaurants. Here you can switch off from the stress of everyday life, watch the harbour activities and reminisce about your holidays. The efforts made have contributed to making it an interesting destination for excursions today. In the summer months, you can take ferry trips from here to Hiddensee or to Ralswiek for the well-known and very popular Störtebecker Festival.

The beach on the wooded Schaabe between the Jasmund and Wittow peninsulas is pure holiday pleasure with nine kilometres of fine sandy beach. Lie in the sun in fine weather and jump into the refreshing Baltic Sea to cool off. Or go on wonderful bike tours through the pine forest of the Schabe Or, for example, take a long walk on the beach and breathe in the fresh smell of the sea. The natural beach at the Schaabe is particularly popular with families with small children. On the beach, which slopes gently into the water, the little ones can splash around carefree and the "big ones" can relax carefree. For the more active guests, there is a hiking and cycling path on the Bodden side for relaxing in nature.
