Historic village house in typical brick construction, located directly on the village pond in the cosy district of Rerik-Blengow. Former farm worker's house, built in 1880, completely renovated in 2009 and continuously maintained. Directly at the idyllic village pond with fountain. Rerik and the beach are approx. 2 km away, the Salzhaff only approx. 800m. On one side you look directly onto the village pond, on the other side into the large garden
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with underfloor heating, living/dining area, wood-burning stove, sauna, garden. High-quality and comfortable furnishings.
In our cosy and comfortable holiday home with 120 sqm living space we offer you a large open living and dining area. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with stove/oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle etc. at your disposal. From the spacious dining area you look directly into the garden. There is a wood-burning stove in the living area, which creates a great atmosphere.
On the ground floor there is the spacious living and dining area with direct access to the terrace and the large garden, a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom with shower/WC and a spacious entrance area/hallway
Upstairs we have a large living hallway that can be used as an additional living space, retreat, reading area, etc. In the living hallway there is a large table and a reading corner.
There are two more bedrooms upstairs: a large bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with a single bed and a cot, as well as a spacious daylight bathroom with shower and a sauna.
The bedroom on the ground floor and the entire upper floor have pleasant cork flooring. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating
Our comfortable and well-equipped holiday home offers enough space inside and outside, the large plot of 1500sqm is ideal for relaxing, playing and recreating, here you will find the large terrace with garden furniture, a pavilion with seating in the green, barbecue and a carport. There is space for another car. Furthermore, two bicycles are at your disposal.

This beautiful village house is located on the edge of the small village of Blengow, directly on the idyllic Dofteich. The holiday home has a 1500 m2 fenced garden plot with terrace, pavilion with seating area, carport, 2 bicycles and a lockable bicycle shed.
Many excursion destinations in the surrounding area can be reached quickly (Wismar, Rostock, Warnemünde, Kühlungsborn, Molli steam train). Directly on the Salzhaff, a few minutes away from Rerik, lies the village-like and cosy district of Blengow. The small village is off the main roads, family-friendly and surrounded by meadows and pastures, yet you can reach Rerik quickly on foot, by bike or by car. It is about 2.5 kilometres to the beach and only about one kilometre to the Salzhaff via a romantic path.

Wildly romantic cliffs and natural beaches, rushing Baltic Sea surf and calm waters in the lagoon alternate in Rerik. At the Salzhaff you can enjoy a special piece of nature. On the Baltic Sea beach, small - and big - children will find the ideal material for building castles and, with a bit of luck, the "gold of the sea", amber. The 170-metre-long pier invites you to take a walk. There is also successful fishing from here!
In summer, the Haffplatz is a hive of activity and holidaymakers mingle with sailors and fishermen on the lively promenade
Stroll along the beach to the pier, then pass Haffplatz with its lively cafés and shops, then the small marina, fishing pier and municipal Haff pier and enjoy the flair. From there, you walk through the idyllic, small spa park to the spacious children's playground.
The charmingly situated Salzhaff, the adjacent salt marshes, dunes and bird sanctuaries and the diversity of their flora and fauna are unique. For numerous coastal birds, the salt marshes are an ideal breeding and feeding area.
The Schmiedeberg is a popular destination for excursions: from here you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view over the picturesque Salzhaff, the "forbidden" peninsula of Wustrow (entry possible with a guided tour) and the vast Baltic Sea
There are 8 prehistoric megalithic tombs around Rerik, guided tours are possible.
A visit to the lovingly designed local history museum is worthwhile if you want to learn more about the eventful history of the village.

Relaxing holiday in the holiday home by the pond in Blengow
Hello Ms Roßbach,
Our holiday from 15.10.- 21.10.2022 in the holiday house at the pond, in Blengow, was a complete success. So beautifully and quietly situated, the house gave us a lot of cosiness and relaxation. We are really very satisfied with the lovingly prepared house. It has its own charm. We felt at home right away. Superbly located in a quiet village, not far from the Salzhaff and the Baltic Sea. Everything is within easy reach. In the afternoon we could chill out on the sun terrace. We were also lucky with the weather. Sunshine and pleasant temperatures.
The house offers a lovingly furnished living room with open kitchen. Wonderful view to the garden and the village pond. The rooms upstairs were gladly accepted by our children and they felt very comfortable.
The owners of the house took a lot of trouble and did not forget anything to make them feel comfortable. The sauna in the upstairs bathroom was also used and is great. We heated the wood-burning stove despite the pleasant temperatures.
We are very satisfied and will gladly come again.

Large and cosy holiday home
The holiday home was ideal for us for a few days' break: cosy rooms, individually and lovingly furnished, with a view of one of these typical village ponds. Large, bright living room with wood-burning stove (we fired it up right away). Large spacious garden, which is probably well used in summer, for us in February it was too cold. We tried the sauna in the house, went for walks on the beach and the salt marsh, went on excursions and had a delicious meal. It's worth the trip - we had a great rest and relaxed.
