Description
Our family-friendly and comfortably furnished house stands on an approx. 300 sqm large property with sunbathing lawn. The large, partly wind-protected terrace is fully equipped with parasol and terrace furniture. There is a garden shed as a practical storage facility for patio furniture, seating and lounging cushions, barbecue and the bicycles at your disposal. In addition, a washing machine and a large bolder trolley are part of the equipment.
For cosy hours in the house there is a modern satellite TV with DVD and a fireplace.
Stair guard, travel cot and high chair allow families with small children a pleasant stay in our house.
Also the modern kitchen equipment with dishwasher, freezer, microwave with grill - and baking function and many other devices contributes to a restful vacation with
You are welcome to use our bicycles and the trolley (at your own risk).
They are not part of the rental contract.
You can rent further bicycles in the park.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located in the Standslag holiday park, which is situated directly behind the dunes of the North Sea coast, in the immediate vicinity of one of the beautiful, endlessly long beaches of North Holland.
You will find an attractive recreational area with a landscape of dunes, beach and sea, as well as the varied polder landscape. The hinterland offers many surprises.
On the paths through the dunes you can cycle or of course walk to Den Helder in the north or to Bergen in the south.
For excursions, the many old, very charming villages and towns on the Ijselmeer are particularly attractive. Amsterdam can also be reached within an hour.
The island of Texel with its seal breeding station and large natural history exhibition 'ecomare' is particularly interesting for children and is only a half-hour ferry ride from Den Helder.
It's also worth taking a trip by boat to the large dam between the Ijselmeer and the North Sea and the seal banks.
The Strandslag holiday park is particularly child-friendly. The attractive playground by the lake, where children can play on land and in the water, is very popular.
Here you can also play volleyball, football and table tennis or take a walk to the small animal enclosure in the park.
At the mini golf course with trampoline facility and a small restaurant you can order fresh breakfast rolls or rent go-karts and bicycles.
The rustic beach restaurant directly at the beach entrance invites you for the small hunger in between, for a romantic or cheerful dinner with sea view and offers a snack stand with ice cream sale in summer
Near the park you will find a subtropical swimming pool, canoe rental, a riding school and a small 9-hole family golf course.
Other recreational activities include surfing, a climbing park, fishing in the sea or canals, deep-sea fishing trips, various amusement parks, bowling at the park entrance, golf and a variety of different museums.
Julianadorp, with its many restaurants and shopping facilities, is within easy cycling distance.

Home by the Sea - simply perfect
We felt very comfortable in the holiday home and would gladly come back.
The contact was very friendly and uncomplicated, and everything on site is clean, tidy, and well thought out. Everything you might need is there (especially for cooking (air fryer, microwave convection oven, pans, pots, etc. gas stove!)). But there were also games, puzzles, books, and brochures about leisure activities in the area. The walk-in luxury shower is amazing, and afterwards sitting by the fireplace and drying off is my personal wellness moment. Firewood is easily available at the reception.
The location is great. You do have to walk a bit to the park gate, but that way you have your peace. Hardly out of the park, you are almost at the beach. And the next supermarket is not far by car either. We didn't use the bicycles, but they are also available. A small cart to fetch things from the nearby parking lot is also there and very practical (also for fetching wood).
If you don't want to go to the beach, you can also take wonderful walks in the holiday park.

Cozy holiday home by the sea
The holiday home including garden and terrace is clean, well-equipped, and very cozy. In just a few minutes on foot, you are at the beach, and the park is also very nice and child-friendly.
We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back.

Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert und vor Ort ist alles sauber, ordentlich und gut durchdacht. Es ist alles da, was man brauchen könnte (insbes. zum Kochen (Air Fryer, Mikrowellen-Umluftofen, Pfannen, Töpfe, etc. Gasherd!)). Aber auch an Spiele, Puzzles, Bücher und Broschüren über die Möglichkeiten der Freizeitgestaltung in der Umgebung wurde gedacht. Die begehbare Luxusdusche ist der Hammer und danach am Kamin sitzen und trocknen mein persönlicher Wellnessmoment. Kaminholz gibt's unkompliziert an der Rezeption.
Die Lage ist super. Man muss zwar ein bisschen laufen zum Tor des Parks, aber dafür hat man seine Ruhe. Kaum aus dem Park raus, ist man auch schon fast am Strand. Und zum nächsten Supermarkt ist es auch nicht weit mit dem Auto. Die Fahrräder haben wir nicht genutzt, aber auch die sind vorhanden. Ein kleiner Bollerwagen, um die Sachen vom nahen Parkplatz zu holen ist auch da und sehr praktisch (auch zum Holz holen).
Wenn man mal nicht zum Strand möchte, kann man auch wunderbar im Ferienpark spazieren gehen.
Vielen Dank, dass ihr es so einfach gemacht habt, die Seele baumeln zu lassen.
Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
