The next few days in Ribnitz-Damgarten promise plenty of sunshine, clear spring air, and mild temperatures up to about 16°C – perfect for relaxing days on the Baltic Sea.
Enjoy long walks with your dogs, relaxing hours on the terrace, and let the day end comfortably by the fireplace after a sauna session.
Secure your spring getaway now and book the sunshine. The floating holiday home or houseboat "Coco de Mer" is located in the immediate vicinity of the Bodden-Therme in the popular holiday resort of Ribnitz-Damgarten.
Our hideaway is firmly moored to the jetty, but moves gently with the wind and waves thanks to the floating pontoon beneath the house. This creates a unique experience on the water.
The jetty is accessible only to tenants, owners, and service staff, ensuring absolute privacy. A parking space is of course available to you in the immediate vicinity during your stay.
Pets are allowed in accordance with our conditions.
The house has 85m² of completely ground-level living space. Persons who have difficulty climbing stairs can therefore easily access all living areas. Only the entrance to the property is accessible via one step. We have also paid attention to one detail or another that will make the stay easier for people with limited mobility.
In the living room, you look out from a truly spacious couch area, which practically invites you to lounge, through a window front towards the Bodden and the harbor of Ribnitz-Damgarten. Thanks to air conditioning (cooling/heating), underfloor heating in the 2 bathrooms, as well as the additionally usable gas fireplace, the house is a cozy retreat all year round. Flat-screen TV and Bluetooth speaker are available as well as Wi-Fi. Thus, nothing stands in the way of your individual TV, radio, and music enjoyment.
From the salon you have access to a cozy terrace and via a staircase to the sun terrace on the upper deck. Both are equipped with comfortable seating and lounging options. From the lower terrace you have direct access to the water for swimming. 2 bedrooms for 2 people each are available:
The master bedroom offers a magnificent view of the Bodden through a large glass sliding door. It is equipped with 2 luxurious sleep systems from ergomotion®. These are 2.10 m long, so that even tall people and stomach sleepers always feel comfortable. In addition, the beds can be adjusted almost noiselessly with a remote control into all possible comfortable positions such as the zero-gravity position, sitting/reading position, or TV position. Of course, simply lying flat is also possible. You can also enjoy a 3-zone massage in bed if you wish. With this and the TV in the room, even a gray rainy day in bed can become a pleasure. From here, you have access to a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. The second bedroom also has 2 comfortable beds. A shower and toilet are also available there.
Up to two more people can sleep on the couch in the living room, which offers a wide sleeping area.
A fully equipped kitchen with induction stove, microwave with grill, refrigerator, and of course a dishwasher is naturally available for your comfort. Additionally, there is a dining table with 6 chairs in the house. Additional seating and dining options are available on the terraces.
We have also included a wellness/fitness area as a special highlight with exclusive special features. By the way, you will find this in the resort exclusively at our Hideaway.
There you can use a private combination sauna at no extra charge, which guarantees sauna enjoyment in the Finnish style or as an infrared sauna with ABC full-spectrum emitters, or you can simply combine both. Use as a not quite so hot bio-sauna is also possible. A blessing for the cooler evenings.
It features integrated Bluetooth speakers, multicolored LEDs behind the rounded backrests, and a matching colored starry sky. End your sauna session with a refreshing shower or a dip in the cooling water that surrounds your "Coco de Mer" before enjoying the sunset or a full moon night on one of the terraces with a good glass of wine.
You are also welcome to book Claudia for a private wellness massage directly on our houseboat; please book your appointment early.
Our property is also an ideal starting point for golf enthusiasts. Directly in the district of Neuhof you will find the 9-hole golf course "Zum Fischland". Our hideaway is therefore also ideal for families who want to combine golf and a holiday on the water.

Coco de Mer - Stay 2025
This year we held our family reunion in Ribnitz-Damgarten - our mother, at 90 years old, came from Berlin with her dog, my sister came from Sweden, my brother from Switzerland, and I from Denmark, all with partners.
We have all traveled a lot in our lives, stayed in many hotels of all classes worldwide, taken vacations "around the world," and are somewhat spoiled when it comes to accommodation.
Normally, one is supposed to complain about the accommodation in these reviews - very German. The water scraper in the shower has a small dent and does not scrape completely flawlessly. That would actually be something to complain about.
The house is very nice and furnished with a lot of love. Everything is perfectly clean, in order, perfect. Everything is available. As mentioned, we can compare well. It was a very pleasant stay that we will surely repeat.
Perhaps one can say that one cannot or should not swim in the Bodden. Too much nitrogen input makes the water green. The spa card is also a reminiscence from the imperial era. But that is the responsibility of the place.

Family holiday
Three generations with a dog felt very much at home. We wanted for nothing. It was a pleasure to come back to the houseboat after the daily activities.

Super holiday home
This floating house offers everything your heart desires: a terrace for morning and evening sun, luxurious and lovingly designed furnishings, bathing facilities in the immediate vicinity and a sauna and fireplace for cooler days. A massage is also available on request. So ....we will be back and wish all other guests equally great days.
