Boomhiemke holiday park is a midsize holiday park with various facilities. It is located in one of the most beautiful spots on Ameland at the foot of the Hollumer dunes and adjacent to the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve. Here you are free to enjoy a pristine natural setting that offers ultimate rest and relaxation. The good location close to the beach makes Boomhiemke a popular holiday destination.

The park has more than enough to experience for visitors of all ages. There is a bowling alley, a swimming pool, a mini-golf course, various playgrounds and a wellness centre. A recreation team is available during school holidays. They organise activities that you can take part in free of charge. And there is also plenty to see and do beyond the park itself. You can explore the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve and of course the beach. Nearby villages, such as Hollum with its charming little shops, restaurants and cafes, are well worth a visit, as are the museums.

Ameland is a relatively small island, so it's ideal for exploring by bicycle. You can simply hire bikes at the park, or bring your own bikes along. Ameland holiday park: a great holiday destination for the whole family, where you can really unwind and experience ultimate relaxation!

Boomhiemke holiday park on Ameland is a charming midsize holiday park with a variety of facilities for all ages. There is a swimming pool, a wellness centre and various playgrounds. The location by a nature preserve and natural beach with the sea just a stone's throw away makes Boomhiemke a great holiday destination for all ages

Groups, if not travelling as a family, will be charged EURO 100 p.p. deposit.

Should you decide to take the car with you to Ameland, please note that you must reserve a place for your car on the ferry well in advance. Because of Corona, pedestrians must also book in advance from 16 June to join the ferry. Book the ferry on 0900 9238. Information about the departure times can be found at www.wpd.nl

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the period 01-11-2021 to April 1, 2022 and October 31, 2022 to January 9, 2023, the Koos Kids Club will be closed and there will be no recreation program.

What a lovely little retreat! The atmosphere inside the bungalow was so warm and inviting. We enjoyed our dinners on the terrace, surrounded by nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape!
