Welcome to the Bergisches Land!

Enjoy the fantastic view of the lake from the huge terrace of our holiday apartment 'Ferienhaus Agger-Blick II' and let yourself be enchanted by the reflections of light on the water's surface as the sun sets over the horizon – this is pure vacation and relaxation! Your holiday residence is located in the main house and consists of a large living room with an integrated, fully equipped kitchen with counter, a large bedroom with double bed, a smaller bedroom with 2 single beds, and a bathroom with a large massage shower.

A huge terrace with barbecue, double sun lounger & sunshade, lounge seating group, dining table with chairs is available for your exclusive use. During the extension in 2025, the covered terrace area was completely redesigned.

The apartment is largely barrier-free, equipped with wall-mounted radiators, and is suitable for allergy sufferers.

Your hosts live on the upper floor of the main building and are available to assist you at any time.

In the basement of the terrace is our second holiday apartment with only one bedroom – ideal for an unforgettable holiday with friends. (Maximum occupancy: 3 adults & 2 children or 4 adults)

Both apartments have free shared use of our wellness "infrared heat cabin" sauna several times a day for private use.
Compared to a Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna is much less strenuous due to the lower temperatures (max. 60°) and is therefore also suitable for people with heart & circulatory conditions as well as children. Try it out sometime. . . . . . And in summer, our 2-person "sit on top" kayak (which can also be used as a stand up paddle board) is available for you to explore the reservoirs.
Or you can go on a bike tour and explore the beautiful nature with our two 28" trekking bikes!

It is important to us to create a cozy atmosphere with warm tones and many accessories, so that you can feel comfortable. The apartment is very comfortably furnished and the kitchen offers everything you need for good cooking.

Location and surroundings of object

You live on the outskirts of the small village "Bruch", which is located directly at the forebay of the beautiful Aggertalsperre. From your front door, you can go on extended walks or bike rides. Go swimming at the bathing jetty just 200m away or start a small kayak tour from there. In the morning after breakfast or late in the evening – just as you like.
The well-known natural beach "Bruch" is also 300m away.
Pedal boats or kayaks can be rented in the neighboring village. The Aggertalsperre is completely accessible for your activities and serves as a drinking water reservoir dam with the best water quality.
In Gummersbach, 9 km away, there is, in addition to a modern shopping center and a brand new cinema palace, many retail shops and a variety of good restaurants as well as a brewery. The "Gumbala" family pool is also a good option in bad weather. In the Oberberg district and the neighboring Sauerland, there are numerous lakes and reservoirs, some of which you can explore on foot in a day’s hike. The large, well-known Biggesee is only 25 km away and can be reached by car in 25 minutes.

Up to 60 days before the start of the rental period: 10%, up to 30 days before the start of the rental period: 20%, up to 10 days before the start of the rental period: 50%, thereafter and in case of no-show: 80%. If there are new travel bans this year or existing ones are extended, there is a special right of termination with a 100% refund.

Simply charming

Everything was just perfect. From the reservation to our departure, we were greeted, informed, and supported very kindly. The holiday apartment left nothing to be desired. There was enough space for us with two children and two dogs. It was very clean. The terrace was large, and the view of the Aggertalsperre was priceless. We explored a lot in the area, e.g., the Biggesee and the Aggertalsperre. Longer drives by car also made Cologne, Bochum, and the Elspe Festival easily accessible. In the residence itself, one can relax wonderfully on the large lounge chair of the terrace or in the hanging chair and enjoy the sun. We also had a kayak and bicycles available, as well as a washing machine. At the nearby campsite, one could go out to eat well. But cooking and grilling by oneself also worked without any problems. Many thanks to the Hüttebräuker family for the lovely time.

Peace with ambiance

The photos on the internet do not lie!!! Great equipment, friendly colors and the sun terrace, just as described. Everything very clean, well-stocked kitchen. The hosts are very friendly, helpful. On very hot days, the apartment remains pleasantly cool.

Unparalleled view.

We felt very, very comfortable. The view alone is worth every cent. Our 5 stars say it all. The landlords are always there when you need them. Nevertheless, privacy is always ensured. In our case, the microwave was broken and was repaired within 2 hours. That's just one example.
We would have to write a book to describe all the positive aspects.
We didn't notice anything negative.
Once again, thank you very much for the great vacation.

Everything the heart desires

We spent a weekend here in the holiday home. Well, the weather is not predictable. We would have liked more sunshine, but you can also keep busy in the house and make trips into nature. The view of the Aggersee is fantastic. Even if the few restaurants in the vicinity are fully booked (better to book early), the kitchen offers everything you need for cooking or baking. Larger shopping markets are a little further away (about 15 minutes by car), you should have some supplies with you. Otherwise, there is an organic farm nearby with advance booking (only open on Fridays) and fresh eggs and homemade jam within walking distance from the house in a log cabin, where you can also buy something on Sundays. In summer you can also use the outdoor swimming pool and a kayak for two people for a fee. There are also two bicycles available free of charge. A sauna (ATTENTION: not a Finnish sauna, quite small and subject to a fee) is shared by both the holiday flat and the holiday home. Board games are also available for boredom. But I don't want to advertise too much here, after all we want to come back again. Oh, the landlord is very friendly and immediately available for any questions and very communicative.

Great accommodation with an amazing view

We spent a long weekend in the holiday home at the Aggertalsperre.
Mr. and Mrs. Hüttebräuker were polite, courteous and responsive to us at all times. We got great tips on things to do and restaurants nearby.
The flat is particularly impressive due to its great and, above all, quiet location and the insanely great view from the huge terrace of the reservoir. You also have a great view from the living room thanks to the large window. So you can enjoy your meals in the flat with a view of the dam in any weather. The kitchen of the flat is well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired for a holiday home. In good weather, the flat is a great starting point for hikes or a swim in the dam. In bad weather, you can spend your time in the flat or in the sauna without any problems.
All in all, it was a very nice and relaxing stay. We will be back!

stayed to our satisfaction!

We stayed here with our mother-in-law and our two (hypoallergenic) dogs for a week because we were looking for a quiet place for New Year's. We had a very pleasant contact with the landlord via email and also by phone and felt confident. (our oldest dog is very afraid of fireworks) The apartment is spacious enough and fully equipped. It is located in a quiet neighborhood along the Agger with a beautiful view of the water. We had a bit of bad luck with the weather (lots of rain, so didn't go for a long walk every day), but we had a great time! In the summer, you can even double your living space with a very large terrace.
tip: The bakery nearby (not within walking distance) has delicious rolls!

Beautiful holiday home

Especially when the weather doesn't cooperate, it is important for us to have a nice place to stay. The apartment exceeded our expectations. The furnishings and decorations were very harmonious, everything to our liking. Very, very clean and well-maintained. The view of the lake from the apartment and terrace was fantastic. Completely satisfied

We spent a few days in the holiday home and felt completely comfortable. The house is about 7 km from Gummersbach, and there is a bus connection if you don't feel like driving. You can hike wonderfully, which we did extensively with our dog. In good weather, you can enjoy the terrace and the great view. We will definitely come back again.

Super vacation apartment

The accommodation can be wholeheartedly recommended. The terrace offers plenty of space and is beautifully designed, just like the rest of the apartment. The owners of the holiday apartment are very kind and available at any time for any questions. Overall, the handover went smoothly and one felt very welcome. The furnishings are upscale and there is an excellent selection. The view is also beautiful. One can only recommend the apartment, and it would receive 10 out of 10 points.

Dream house with a dream view

We were in this great house for a week and felt very comfortable. Nothing was missing. The landlords live in the neighboring house, are always approachable, and take care of the well-being of their guests. During our first three days, it poured continuously, so we were constantly in the house and could get to know all its amenities. We particularly liked the spacious, modern, and light-filled living area with many lovingly selected accessories and useful items that enhance the stay. The very well-equipped open kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. We even had two different coffee machines! We found the many different light sources in every room of the house especially noteworthy, contributing to a cozy atmosphere in the evenings. Starting from the 4th. The day switched the weather to summery temperatures, allowing us to enjoy the huge terrace as well. It is a very special highlight in this holiday home!

Your hosts are Martina & Roland Hüttebräuker, married for 25 years and have 2 children, who do not live with us anymore. We are 49 and 53 years old and live near the Ruhr area in the beautiful Oberberg district Since 8 years we own this holiday flat and in the last years with our two daughters we have had a lot of nice holidays in Liznjan. Croatia has become our 2nd home in that time and we have learned to love country & people. At the beginning of the year, we had a we bought a smaller apartment in the village and therefore offer the apartment "Weitblick" for holiday guests.
