The fully equipped kitchen has a 4-plate ceramic hob, oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. So you don't have to do without comfort even on holiday
Relax in the large living room with 60" SAT-TV, wood stove and a small house library. The large south-facing terrace (50 m²), which can be accessed directly from the living room, has its own hot tub for cooling off and relaxing, and the beautifully landscaped garden invites you to sunbathe.
Everyone will find relaxation and peace here. Garden furniture and loungers are available.

The recreational community of Konzell lies in the midst of wooded hills on both sides of the Menach valley between the towns of Straubing, Cham and Viechtach
Situated directly on the Danube-Rain cycle path, it is an ideal starting point for cycling tours in unspoilt nature. Hiking maps for the hiking trails are available for our guests
The holiday resort Konzell guarantees relaxing holiday pleasures at any time of the year. In our holiday flats you can enjoy carefree holidays in absolute tranquillity in the midst of nature. The central location offers ideal conditions for day trips to the sights of the Bavarian and Upper Palatinate Forest, as well as the historic towns of Cham, Straubing, Regensburg and Passau and the neighbouring countries of the Czech Republic and Austria.
Special events include the Straubing Gäuboden Folk Festival . Bavaria's second largest and most rustic folk festival. Additional bus connections from Konzell to the folk festival are offered during this period.
The Drachenstich in Furth im Wald is also very interesting. Germany's oldest folk show.

Great relaxing short break with dog.
We had a great start to the year with very nice landlords who welcomed us warmly and made sure that we lacked nothing. The apartment is super clean and well furnished, you feel comfortable right away. Great also for dog owners, you can go straight into nature and you feel that dogs are really welcome. In the surrounding area, you can do a lot with children and also with dogs. We will gladly come back :-)

Beautiful holiday in the Bavarian Forest!
We spent our summer holiday in the Sonnenschein holiday flat. Mrs. Sonnenschein welcomed us warmly and the fridge was filled with chilled drinks at the reception. Our dog was also welcomed with treats. We found the flat to be cosy and clean. We didn't want for anything. Even a dog bowl and blankets for the dog were available. On the very beautiful terrace, there were all kinds of seating and lounging options available. Mr. and Mrs. Sonnenschein were always available for questions and requests. We can only recommend this holiday flat with its nice, obliging landlords (and the house dog "Moritz") without reservation. The stay was a wonderful time-out for us!

Everything for a relaxing holiday
There were three of us in the flat, and on the whole we were very satisfied.
The flat is suitable for seniors to a certain extent, if you are a little limited in your mobility, there are a few stumbling blocks.
Otherwise, the flat is highly recommended
The terrace is really large and beautifully designed, the whole garden is beautiful and so is the view.
Nothing else is missing in the flat.
The equipment is as described and everything works
Large bedrooms with enough space for everything you need.
The kitchen and bathroom all in order
We were particularly taken with the Sonnenschein family, who are very friendly and always have a good idea of where to find things.
In the immediate vicinity is an Edeka, a bakery, a good butcher and a good brewery.
There is a lot to see and do in the surrounding area (40 km).
We really felt very comfortable

great vacation
We spent a week with the Sonnenschein family and can only recommend this accommodation. The apartment is well equipped, has everything you need, and has a great location. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The weather was great this week, we had almost only "sunshine". We will definitely be back.

Rundum Sorglos Paket für Mensch und Tier
Wir haben uns mit unseren Fellnasen sehr wohl gefühlt in der Ferienwohnung. Nach der herzlichen Begrüßung durch Connie und Guido betraten wir die sehr schöne Ferienwohnung. Alles wie beschrieben, nur in echt noch besser. Vormittags auf der riesigen Terrasse bei aufgehender Sonne frühstücken und den Blick über die Landschaft schweifen lassen ist ein perfekter Start in den Tag.
Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig ausgelegt, eine riesen Couch und der große Fernseher im Wohnzimmer ließen auch hier Entspannung pur aufkommen. Die Betten sind sehr gut, wir haben erholsame Nächte gehabt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, sogar Decken für die Hunde wurden gestellt.
Die Versorgungslage ist mit einem sehr guten Bäcker sowie sehr gutem Metzger, einem Edeka, Apotheke und Tankstelle sowie Tierarzt in fußläufiger Näher auch sehr gut. Und für Hunde Gassi Touren ist die unmittelbare Umgebung ebenfalls bestens geeignet.
Wir können das ganze Paket nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung
Wir waren im April 2022 für eine Woche im Haus Sonnenschein und total begeistert. Die Wohnung war super sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Terrasse, der Garten, der Ausblick und die Gastfreundlichkeit von Familie Sonnenschein haben uns so überzeugt, dass wir die Wohnung im Herbst gleich nochmals gebucht haben. Auch unsere Hündin Dasha war willkommen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft zu 100% weiter.

Großzügige Komfortwohnung, in der es an nichts fehlt
Wir waren nun schon zum vierten Mal bei Familie Sonnenschein zu Gast und sind wieder begeistert.
Die Wohnung bietet alles an Komfort, was man braucht und ist trotzdem urgemütlich.
Die große Couch mit ebenso großem TV oder die riesige Terrasse mit Badezuber und unbeschreiblichem Ausblick...
Die Betreuung durch Familie Sonnenschein ist nicht zu toppen. Ob man Feuerholz braucht oder man Fragen zu Restaurants oder Ausflügen hat, ganz egal, Sonnenscheins sind für ihre Gäste da. Auch Sonderwünsche wie das Aufstellen eines Weihnachtsbaumes sind kein Problem. Dafür nochmal 1000 Dank.Trotzdem hat man in der Wohnung seine Privatspäre, wenn man lieber für sich sein möchte.
Dass die Wohnung supersauber ist, versteht sich bei diesem Standard fast von selbst, möchten wir aber trotzdem erwähnen.
Fazit: wir fühlen uns jedes Mal wie zu Hause und sagen auch diesmal "Wir kommen wieder."

Sehr schöner Urlaub als Familie
Hallo Conny und Guido wir haben eine sehr schöne Urlaubswoche bei euch verbracht. Die Wohnung ist groß und sauber, die Aussicht von der großen Terrasse ist der Hammer. Wir können die Ferienwohnung nur weiterempfehlen, wunderschöner Ausblick, Ruhe und Erholung. Es war ein ganz entspannter Urlaub, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Vereist als Ehepaar mit Hund

The booking by phone was already very amusing. You could chat away with both Conny and Guido as if we had known each other forever. The reception (with delicious hazelnut schnapps) was also very warm.
The flat itself is well-equipped, well-maintained and very clean. The terrace is a highlight. We immediately felt very comfortable. Our Carlos obviously liked it as well.
Thanks to the beautiful weather, we were able to go on several hikes. The cities of Regensburg and Straubing are worth a visit
The recommendation Gasthaus Streifenau was top. Within walking distance, very cosy and a very nice group. The food was delicious, plentiful and very reasonably priced
Conclusion:
A very nice holiday in a great area with very nice people
We will see each other again.

Urlaub mit bester Entspannun
Gute Lage, um vielfältige Ziele im Bayrischen Wald und an der Donau schnell zu erreichen (Regensburg, Passau). Gutes Radwegenetz. Die Gegend bietet auch viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, wenn Petrus schwächelt.
Die Terrasse der Wohnung ist ein Traum inkl. Badezuber! Die Vermieter immer freundlich, immer hilfsbereit… geht nicht gibts nicht!
Wir haben gleich wieder gebucht.

Unterkunft mit Sucht-Potenzial
Wir verbrachten den dritten Sommer-Urlaub in Folge in dieser Ferienwohnung und fühlten uns von Anfang pudelwohl.
Es ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlte uns an nichts. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und es ist alles da, was ein Urlauber-Herz begehrt.
Die Terrasse mit dem kleinen Pool setzt dem Ganzen das Krönchen auf. Auf einer der Sonnenliegen den Ausblick ins Grüne zu genießen, ist Erholung pur.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ideal für zahlreiche Ausflugsziele. Die Wandertouren, die wir unternehmen konnten, waren traumhaft.
Die Vermieter-Familie ist sehr auf das Wohl ihrer Gäste bedacht, haben immer ein offenes Ohr und geben gerne Tipps für Unternehmungen, wenn man das möchte.
Wir werden auf jeden Fall bald wieder dort Urlaub machen.

Superb holiday
For the 4th time we stayed in this super great flat with a large terrace and a wonderful view. The flat is very spacious and absolutely clean, everything you need is there. The landlords are as they are called a sunshine. It has become our second home. Even our two children, 23 and 18 years old, don't miss the opportunity to go with Conny and Guido. It is also a dream for our dog Waico to romp around in the large, well-kept garden. We always love to come back and are already looking forward to seeing you again.
