Far away from everyday life in the "Chalet Fuchsberg", great facilities and pure feel-good ambience, treat yourself to some time out. Wi-Fi, Internet TV/Sky, complete kitchen with dishwasher, exclusive bathroom with free-standing bathtub and shower and WC, additional WC, infrared sauna, marble stone heating - pleasant radiant heat, just like a tiled stove. Box spring bed, terrace and balcony and a garage. By the way: we also offer the aktivCARD of the Bavarian Forest with more than 130 discounts, this is included in the price. The Bavarian Forest has a lot to offer, but also Prague, Krumau, Munich, Linz, Passau, day trips. Please note: Booking only 2 days: 175€/day and from 7 days 130€/day.

Newly built, in Schulstraße 6 on the Fuchsberg in Mauth. Log cabin with marble infrared heating, wonderful location and very quiet. Just enjoy carefree days in the heart of the Bavarian Forest.
There is a garage with door and direct access to the chalet. There are 2 TVs in the living room and in the bedroom with Internet TV and Sky. We have a wine stock, spirits, coffee for every taste, also tea (basic equipment available). Please have a look at our homepage, everything is there in detail. mauth-finsterau dot de.

Wonderful

The chalet is modern and luxuriously furnished. There is nothing missing. Lots of additional equipment available, such as milk frother, toaster, bathtub pillow, wine supply, etc. Very nice owner, advised us on activities and explained everything around the house to us. If we go to the Bavarian Forest again, definitely there. Everything is great!!! Regards

Chalet for a dreamy retreat

The Chalet Fuchsberg offers everything you could wish for a relaxing vacation. A new cottage built in wood construction, just right for two people. Fully equipped kitchen (with all conceivable appliances and enough dishes), cozy living-dining area with TV, a second TV in the beautifully designed bedroom on the upper floor (with balcony). Also on the upper floor, a fantastic bathroom with freestanding bathtub and exclusive shower. On the various seating options around the house, you can follow (or avoid) the sun, a barbecue is also available. The infrared sauna warms on bad weather days, and to lift the mood, there is a supply of wine and spirits available. The car or bikes are safely stored in the garage. The village of Mauth is wonderfully situated to start hiking or cycling right from the front door (maps are also available in the house) or to reach many interesting destinations (National Park, museums, glassblowing workshops, etc.) in a short time. In the village, there are shopping facilities as well as very good gastronomy. The landlord, Mr. Geißinger, is always available for questions and a nice conversation. In short: there is nothing standing in the way of a holiday at Chalet Fuchsberg.

Chalet with high-end amenities for comfort.

In the Bavarian Forest, we can simply relax well and appreciate the freedoms that a vacation rental/holiday home offers us. The Chalet Fuchsberg is optimally located in what we consider a particularly beautiful area of the Bavarian Forest, near the wildlife enclosure, treetop walkway, and the open-air museum in Finsterau; with great hiking opportunities right on site (without a long drive). The Chalet Fuchsberg offers an upscale ambiance that simply makes you feel comfortable. It is new, well-maintained, and very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped (not only a dishwasher, but also an egg cooker, toaster, and two coffee machines are available). We gladly accepted the landlord's wine/spirits offer. It is worth mentioning that the towels are not pre-divided, so you can indulge in an additional towel, and there is a supply of consumables (which guests are supposed to provide) so you don't have to go shopping immediately. The equipment is upscale and lovingly put together, with an eye for detail, functional and simply to "feel good". Thank you to the Geissinger family for a wonderful, relaxing, and successful "wellness holiday". We will definitely come back!

Wellness vacation

In the very beautiful and new holiday home made of wood, we enjoyed pure relaxation. We slept deeply and restfully on the very good mattresses, and we gladly used the wonderful infrared sauna after our hikes. Additionally, we had very nice weather, so we could have breakfast every morning on the terrace directly next to the beautiful flower meadow. Varied and, if desired, challenging hiking trails can be started directly from the front door. Beautiful excursions are reachable in the immediate vicinity. The nature there is a unique experience, which one can also lazily enjoy with a ride on the forest train. With the activcard, one can take advantage of this and much more for free. There are very good dining options within walking distance as well. The shopping options are also great, with two grocery stores including a bakery, a very good butcher, a liquor store, a bank, a savings bank, and a gas station – everything you need on vacation.
The landlord, Mr. Geißinger, is very helpful and generous.
The neighbors of the holiday home are also discreetly friendly and gladly provided us with further tips for cultural events.
Overall, it is just perfect for relaxation. Thank you very much, Mr. Geißinger, for your "feel-good package"!

A dream vacation in a chalet!

The holiday home leaves nothing to be desired! It is furnished with great attention to detail, and associations with the beautiful decoration can always be made with the Fuchsberg. Furthermore, everything was very well maintained and in a modern high-quality condition.

Looking out the window, one was immediately in a holiday mood - the tranquility could be felt right away.

After a friendly welcome from the landlord, we could also approach him at any time for excursion tips or questions. In the immediate vicinity, all important shopping facilities, as well as a nice restaurant and a beautiful café, were available.

There were many excursion possibilities, so you could go hiking right from the chalet, explore museums, or go shopping.

We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday. The entire package is recommendable! We will definitely come back!

Charming retreat in the Forest

VERY satisfied!

We were able to enjoy our vacation there from 01.07. - 07.07.20.
The vacation apartment is very clean and has great, very new, and high-quality equipment. You sleep like on clouds and can relax nicely with an infrared sauna session.

The landlords are really friendly and always easy to reach. You also get great tips for trips and restaurants in the area.
(Little tip: the open-air museum)

We would spend our vacation there again at any time. The location is also very beautiful. There are many excursion destinations all around. The included AktivCard is also great! In short: any time again! Just beautiful there :)

Relaxing days - Lovely house

A very nice vacation home. Everything was to our satisfaction. We felt very comfortable. Absolute peace, as there is no traffic. The house is cozy, lovingly furnished, and very clean. The chalet is furnished with great attention to detail and invites relaxation. The landlords are very nice and always have an open ear for questions, etc.

In the village itself, you can find a bakery, butcher, grocery stores, pastry shop, and a restaurant, which is very practical as you can easily get everything you need on a walk.

We can recommend the chalet, it is perfect for a break from everyday life.

Beautiful chalet in a fantastic location.

We were very warmly welcomed, and the host took care of all our concerns immediately and without delay. We were positively surprised by the chalet, it is incredibly cozy, yet includes all modern comforts. The location is fantastic, with a view over the Bavarian Forest from the bedroom. Tours directly from the cabin are possible in all directions. Overall, we highly recommend both the hosts and the cottage and would love to come back! Many heartfelt thanks once again at this point.

cozy Christmas short trip

To enjoy the Christmas holidays away from the hustle and bustle of Munich, we spent a few days at Chalet Fuchsberg in Mauth. A perfect place to spend time together and feel at ease. A visit to Dreisessel, already snowy with its 1300m, and a shopping experience at the renowned fashion house Garhammer rounded off our visit perfectly. We truly felt comfortable and enjoyed the atmosphere of the wooden house - the cookie service included. We will definitely come back! :)
