This luxurious, detached holiday home is located on the Landgoed Het Grote Zand holiday park.
The holiday home is suitable for ten people. The spacious living room has a TV. The open kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher and microwave oven. On the ground floor you'll also find a bedroom, a bathroom with bubble bath, a traditional sauna, a sun shower and a separate toilet. The first floor has another four bedrooms as well as two bathrooms.
All the beds are 1-person box-spring beds, either pushed together to make a double bed, or used separately in a twin-room setup. There is a spacious garden with a terrace and garden furniture (including a lounge set). Parking for three cars is available at the holiday home.
The Landgoed Het Grote Zand holiday park also offers many other holiday homes for rent, ranging from four to twelve people.

The beautiful, 35 hectare Het Grote Zand Holiday Park is in the province of Drenthe.
It is in a very convenient position. The park has attractive, new bungalows and is on the edge of a protected nature reserve. It is 500 metres from the village of Hooghalen. You can enjoy day trips, walks and cycle trips in the surrounding countryside. The attractive main building has various facilities including a reception area, a shop, an indoor swimming pool, sauna, Turkish Bath and solarium. There is a pleasant 'Brown Café' and a snack bar. You can enjoy an à la carte restaurant in the evenings. The park's recreation team organises a number of activities during the holiday season. Children can enjoy treasure hunts, children's bingo and sports tournaments. The holiday park has plenty of playground equipment. If you enjoy cycling you will love it here. The Hooghalen countryside consists of extensive woods, fields and moor lands. Youll find four nature reserves in the immediate area. These are Het Grote Zand, Het Witte Zand, Het Heuvinger Zand and Het Noorder & Hijkerveld. Tens of kilometres of cycling paths lead you through beautiful Forestry Commission lands.
The Het Grote Zand Holiday Park is in the heart of Drente and is ideally positioned for visiting many places of interest. The city of Assen is less then ten kilometres away. You can enjoy shopping, the Traffic Adventure Park (Verkeerspark) and the Drentse Museum there. The Noorder Zoo in Emmen is nearby and the historic city of Groningen is well worth a visit. This beautiful holiday park is highly recommended for young families, seniors and all who enjoy beautiful scenery. The park's excellent position combined with its many facilities are the perfect combination for an enjoyable holiday.

A number of holiday home facilities may be booked for a 27,50 preference cost. These facilities are not standard. They include a second parking space by the accommodation, a bath, a combination microwave oven, DVD player, infra-red sauna, internet, stove and dishwasher. Please contact our Customer Contact Centre regarding these options.
From November 6, 2018 through April 1, 2019, the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, except during school holidays.
For group bookings in the 8 - 12 person accommodations with guests aged up to and including 24 years, we require a deposit of € 300. ID card / passport / driver's license may be requested at check-in.

Arrival well organized. Accommodation fine. What irritated me the most was that no toilet paper was provided. Total wrong cut. You don't expect this in a house in this price range. The pillows were also in urgent need of replacement.

It's a nice house. But it is a pity that it does not state that there is carpeting upstairs. This is important in case of allergies. Furthermore, there is some rust in the bubble bath, undoubtedly someone busy with bath bomb. And to finish the story, the dining chairs wobble haha no drama but annoying. Other than that, really satisfied!

We are 4 adults, 2 children aged 6 years, 1 toddler and 2 babies. Then you have a lot of waste but only 2 waste bags, 2 washing blocks but the dishwasher has to run every day so we have too little. Towels package taken which consists of 2 towels but it turns out that you have to use it for 4 days, now we like to go to bed clean and if you shower every night like us, you are short. that costs us €55 extra, which I think is a bit rude. There is no vacuum cleaner in our house but a broom and no mop.So it is very clean. Very unfortunate allen.Verder, the house is nicely finished and is in a nice quiet park.

Spacious house, 5 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms is wonderful. Spa is fine. House is worn out. Had a problem with the bath. Dishwasher malfunction. Broken chairs in the garden and also in the living room. Very mediocre cleaning.
