A tastefully furnished cottage in the center, very clean and within walking distance of the harbor and sea. A nice place to stay! The church bell that chimes every hour and half hour is quite loud, so it can sometimes disturb the (night) peace. But the cottage felt like a pleasant home, so definitely a recommendation!

We were in the cottage for the third time and the equipment is no longer top. No microwave/oven present, shower curtain and shower head need replacing and roller blinds are smeared.

The house itself is actually beautiful, but was not clean. A positive thing is that two bicycles can be used.
Despite this, we would not rent the house again:

We wondered why there was such a foul smell in the bathroom/toilet, until on the day of departure we discovered that there were used adult diapers in the laundry basket, presumably from the previous tenants. This is absolutely unacceptable!

The landlord asks €60 in cash for final cleaning. We wonder for what, because there isn't even a standard level of cleanliness!

All in all very disappointing.

Lovely house and fantastic location. Just bring earplugs for the sound of the church bell. Then you'll sleep right through it.

Please note that you have to pay for parking, even if it is stated otherwise! It is slightly cheaper at the station and is only a few minutes' walk away.

The house is very nice, modern and functional. Very nice, there are 2 bicycles and 1 toilet on each level! The stairs are not that steep. Very nice Apartment.Fahrräder at leisure are of course a fine thing (if you arrive as a couple without children). However, no oven and no freezer were a bit impractical. Otherwise very nice.

The cottage is literally under the church tower and is within walking distance of shops, the harbor, restaurants, ... It was very quiet (except Sunday 10 min chimes for the start of the celebration). The house was very easy to find and on the street there was a free parking (at the landlady to buy). Despite premature arrival within 10 minutes we got the key and were warmly welcomed. The house offers everything a holiday needs, a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room with TV and even bicycles are available. It is very centrally located in the historic center and everything is within walking distance. Even the journey by train would be easily possible. The city offers supermarkets, shops, restaurants, a beach, a harbor, lots of peace and heaps of historic charm. The surrounding cities are also easily accessible by car and worth a visit. Day trips to the North Sea islands are also possible. We enjoyed the week very much and we could really relax. We would book again in the future! The settlement on Belvilla was easy, everything worked out great. However, I find the breakdown of the booking costs both during the booking, as well as afterwards in "My Belvilla" and in the sent PDF not 100% objectively (eg when booking is bed linen included, later payable locally 10, -pP, final cleaning the same) , There is definitely room for improvement.

Harlingen is a great port city. The apartment is very centrally located. Everything within walking distance. Shops, restaurants and also the beach. We liked it a lot. We were very warmly welcomed. The stove was already on so that was immediately pleasurable. The house looks so small on the outside but is spacious inside. The kitchen is fully equipped. Even a washing machine. It is a lovely town with lots to see.

We were welcomed very friendly. Contact the owner without any problems. The house was clean, the location is very good. Harlingen as a starting point for cycling tours or similar. We recommend. Two bicycles available. Defective wheel was promptly repaired. Very practical is the bicycle shed. The EC is very large. Very good, that there is a guest toilet on the ground floor. Contrary to the description, there is a combi microwave, but NO freezer in the fridge. Fast internet available. Good darkening in the bedrooms.Punkt deduction for the very barren decoration (we then bought flowers) - the very comfortable garden chairs. Basically, only 2 people can eat at the garden table, for the other two the table legs are in the way. - The children's room is too small for two, there are not enough closets. We were only three, then one can use the empty bed. -In the living room would be room for a large shelf or cupboard, so you could still store shoes, drinks, books, etc. The TV is really too small for the size of the room, if someone likes to look. We did not use it. - Not enough towels in the bathroom. We had luck enough hooks with suction cups. Despite these negative points we would rent again, because all in all, we felt comfortable.

Last year we were already in the house and completely thrilled. This year everything is just right. Harlingen is picturesquely beautiful and the area is ideal for cycling. You have a choice between the North Sea and the IJsselmeer. Many beautiful excursions are possible (Texel, Julia Adorf, Leeuvarden etc)

four-leaf clover is a sweet little and cozy cottage just outside the center, the decor is minimal but sofa and chairs are fine and the beds are worth 10 good mattresses lovely thick cushions, the small room is on the small side but for kids fine. a minus point was the very small television that is in the living room. The cottage is a 5 min walk from the center and the port.

We were very warmly welcomed. The stove was already on so that was immediately pleasurable. The house looks so small on the outside but is spacious inside. The kitchen is fully equipped. Even a washing machine. It is a lovely town with lots to see.

We were welcomed very friendly. Contact the owner without any problems. The house was clean, the location is very good. Harlingen as a starting point for cycling tours or similar. We recommend. Two bicycles available. Defective wheel was promptly repaired. Very practical is the bicycle shed. The EC is very large. Very good, that there is a guest toilet on the ground floor. Contrary to the description, there is a combi microwave, but NO freezer in the fridge. Fast internet available. Good darkening in the bedrooms.Punkt deduction for the very barren decoration (we then bought flowers) - the very comfortable garden chairs. Basically, only 2 people can eat at the garden table, for the other two the table legs are in the way. - The children's room is too small for two, there are not enough closets. We were only three, then one can use the empty bed. -In the living room would be room for a large shelf or cupboard, so you could still store shoes, drinks, books, etc. The TV is really too small for the size of the room, if someone likes to look. We did not use it. - Not enough towels in the bathroom. We had luck enough hooks with suction cups. Despite these negative points we would rent again, because all in all, we felt comfortable.

Last year we were already in the house and completely thrilled. This year everything is just right. Harlingen is picturesquely beautiful and the area is ideal for cycling. four-leaf clover is a sweet little and cozy cottage just outside the center, the decor is minimal but sofa and chairs are fine and the beds are worth 10 good mattresses lovely thick cushions, the small room is on the small side but for kids fine. a minus point was the very small television that is in the living room. The cottage is a 5 min walk from the center and the port.

A nice, clean and tidy house near the center of Harlingen. Shops and Wadden Sea Port and within walking distance. Several nice places like Leeuwarden, Workum, Hindeloopen and Sneek are nearby. Parking not a problem. The church bell was in the area to get used (every hour and half hour, even at night).

We were later than expected, but that was no problem. Cottage was clean and warm the bed was made. All necessary kitchen utensils are available. The cottage could only be decorated a little cozier now it is a little bare when you arrive. By putting / hanging some stuff here and there (candles, tablecloth, Christmas lights, plaid, ...) it immediately became more pleasant. The cottage is literally under the church tower and is within walking distance of shops, the harbor, restaurants, ... It was very quiet (except Sunday 10 min chimes for the start of the celebration).
