Nice and well-kept area. Very stylish and comfortably furnished accommodation. The only downsides in the kitchen are a bit minimalist to cook "fancier" dishes (grater is missing, for example) and unfortunately there are no light-proof curtains / shutters in the bedrooms. Overall a very nice stay.

A beautiful, cozy and well-equipped holiday home in a small holiday park with almost 20 identical houses. Very quiet location, but still with an “Albert Heijn” supermarket, bakery, fishmonger, cheese shop and liquor store in the immediate vicinity. We felt very comfortable in the house, the only point of criticism is the very small sauna (for 1 person) and the narrow beds.

We were very enthusiastic about our stay in Egmond aan den Hoef, nice little park with beautiful houses, reception was good and clear. House super fine, well built and nicely decorated, good kitchen, clean, spacious, and privacy in the garden. Handy with the supermarket around the corner, spacious meadow to walk the dog and the nice beach within walking distance. We would love to come back again! The only thing that bothered the children were the light curtains, it was not dark in the rooms before 10 pm! Maybe blackout curtains an idea? Furthermore, absolutely recommended!

You can expect a lot more from a house in this price category. The house itself is really beautiful. Neatly finished, lots of space in the bedrooms (eg for clothes) and although a single sauna, it is the luxury we searched. The decoration is poor. No soap or towel in the toilet (seat was also loose) to wash your hands. For a week only 4 times a dishwasher tablet and a fireplace without wood and firelighters. You have to buy wood, it turns out on arrival. The electric BBQ turns out to be a grill plate. And finally, there are no cushions for the loungers (and mismatched cushions for the seats). The price-quality ratio is therefore not attractive, I would almost say to the stingyness of it.

The key handover worked really well. We were received very nice and friendly. The house has everything you need for a nice week. The location to the beach and the city are perfect. A short walk of 20 minutes and you are there. We were there with our dog, which was a dream. The beach was full of nice people with dogs and children. Everything very calm and relaxed. The house was in a great location and you had your privacy despite the many houses. The house itself was very clean and everything you needed was available. The only thing I missed was a bowl in the kitchen for a salad or something similar. 😉

The stair railing had been torn from a wall holder on the wall and had to be re-attached by the caretaker. It is puzzling that this is not noticeable in the previous cleaning and acceptance. At an outside door, the closing damper was torn apart and was not repaired until departure. Two other external doors did not close properly, they had to be locked so they would not jump on their own. The electric grill was broken. How the heating works, we have not been explained. The supposed temperature adjuster on the wall in the living room always showed different temperatures, but allowed no attitude. At night and in the morning all heaters were generally cold, warm in the mornings. As the daytime temperatures rose above 17 ° C, it remained cold, probably switched off automatically. Environment of particular beauty, the tulip blossom was in full swing, a feast for the eyes. For our dogs, the dunes and the beaches in Egmond aan Zee were an ideal place.

Egmond aan den Hoef is a small town where a new holiday park is placed around a mill. It is pretty small and. Or just finished. The cottage was very nicely decorated and everything was well thought about. We have had a great time together with our dog.

Beautiful beautiful house in a garden of meadow flowers, located in a small-scale park. Close to the supermarket and the beach and nice cycling routes through the dunes. Good beds and a nice bathroom, everything was clean. A few downsides: curtains in the bedroom let in a lot of light. Excellent reception by the manager of the park. After we were handed the keys we drove to the villa to unpack our belongings. What a fantastic accommodation everything is available from a good kitchen to a good (personal) WiFi connection in the villa. Fine bedrooms with ditto beds, not to mention a wonderful rain shower. In addition, Egmond aan Zee is a great location to stay with nice but also less weather. There is plenty to do and experience in the area.

Upon arrival we could report to the mill. There was the house key and parking card ready for us. The house was modern and spacious. It was just not very clean. The environment was fine. Shops (AH, bakery, butcher, fishmonger) around the corner, while it was very quiet. Tip for the owners to provide more darkening in the bedrooms. Our bedroom was right next to a lamppost and with white curtains this gave little blackout. Furthermore very nice house, nice small park. We will definitely come back again!
