In 2019, two types of restyled apartments were finished in Residence Bosch en Zee, within walking distance of the pleasant centre of De Koog, on the beautiful island of Texel.
There's a 2-4 person apartment on the ground floor (NL-1796-51), with a terrace. There also i a 2-4 person apartment on the first floor (NL-1796-51), with a balcony.
Both types of apartments have a living room with TV and a double sofa bed. The kitchenette features a microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and a coffee machine. There's one bedroom with two single box-spring beds, which could be in a double set-up. The bathroom features a shower and a toilet. You'll have garden furniture at your disposal on the terrace or balcony.

The holiday feeling starts on the boat! As soon as you step onto the island you'll see that Texel is a special piece of the Netherlands. The harbour, the dunes, the beach and the crashing of the sea give you that holiday feeling. There are just as many sheep as people here, an ideal island to relax. In the middle of this beautiful island, and within walking distance from the charming village centre of the resort of De Koog you'll find the charming apartment complex Bosch en Zee. You'll find an open air swimming pool with a separate children's pool and playground. You can hire a bicycle at the reception. It's very probable that you'll never want to leave! With 135 km of cycling paths, you can explore the whole island at your leisure. The perfect finish for a nice beach walk or cycling excursion: have a drink and a bite on the terrace or in a charming restaurant in a beach pavilion or on one of the many inviting terraces. There is much to experience for the kids as well on Texel: endless playing on the beach, watching seals, accompanying the forest ranger or shrimper.
Residence Bosch en Zee is in a central location on the wonderful island of Texel near the charming resort of De Koog. It is suitable for young families and seniors. The beach and the centre of De Koog are located within walking distance.
The crossing from Den Helder to Texel takes about 20 minutes. For more information and rates: TESO (tel. 0(031)222-369600 / www.teso.nl). Advance reservations are not possible.
The park costs include energy costs, final cleaning, bed linens (beds are not made up), service package, environmental charges and facility services.
Reservations for youth up to 25 years of age are only possible if the parents are part of the party. Access to the residence will be refused if this rule is violated.
The swimming pool of the Bosch en Zee apartment complex is open from May to September. To ensure that everyone can keep a distance of one and a half meters while swimming, only children up to the age of 12 are welcome here. In addition, you always have free access to Swimming Paradise Calluna. This is within walking distance of the park.
The park has indicated that it is a firework-free zone. Despite the fact that the park will do their utmost to enforce the prohibition on the lighting of fireworks, they cannot give a 100% guarantee that no actual fireworks will be lit on or in the direct vicinity of the park.

The welcome was friendly, if not warm. The accommodation is older, but partly renovated and very well maintained. The facility is located at the entrance of De Koog. On foot you are in 10 minutes on a beautiful forest path in the center where many good gastronomic offers wait. Although the complex was almost fully booked during the summer holidays, it was very quiet during the day and at night, which we enjoyed. If you can arrange with the limited space and who do not bother slightly clairaudient walls, you will feel comfortable here. Price and performance definitely vote. We would come back!

Beautiful apartment, we were there with the two of us and a dog. That was doable. Nice quiet place and not very noisy with regard to the neighbors. Everything was there and everything was clean. You can walk into the center through the forest. To be repeated. Thank you.

There was no furniture to sit on, the sofa creaked so badly that you could hardly sit on it. Beds were hard but fine. In the shower it was difficult to get ready, everything was a bit tight. It was officially a cottage for 4 people. I think you would have gotten in each other's way.

Booking was easy. Information then clear and fast. When I wanted to report a change that was not possible online, I was helped quickly and very friendly by an employee. The reception at the park was also very friendly and pleasant. Everything needed was available in the house. Also close to village which was easy for shopping. We had a great time and will definitely go back.
