We offer you a quiet, fully furnished holiday flat with separate entrance and parking on the property, on the outskirts of the village on the culture and nature trail "Forellenweg" through the Baybach valley, surrounded by gardens and wooded slopes. It consists of a large living room with kitchenette and two additional comfortable sofa beds, double bedroom, shower/WC and balcony. A lawn with barbecue facilities invites you to sunbathe and relax. Storage space for bicycles.
You can smoke on the covered balcony. Pets are not allowed in the flat.
In a wine tavern or wine bar you can enjoy the wines of the Terrassenmosel and typical winegrower's dishes. A bakery, cafe' and restaurants are nearby.
Starting point for hikes and cycling or car tours along the Moselle, Rhine, Hunsrück and Eifel.

The holiday flat is located in a side street (Vorstadtstraße 7), directly on the "side jump" of the Moselsteig, the "Borjer Ortsbachpädche", a few minutes' walk from the Moselle (boat landing stage) and the Baybach valley. View of the garden, the Klopplay and Bischofstein Castle. Burgen is a state-recognised recreation area in the holiday region "Sonnige Untermosel" (Koblenz 29 km, Cochem 21 km). Hiking possibilities in wildly romantic stream valleys (Baybach Valley, Ehrbach Gorge), quiet forests, vineyards and steep slate slopes (Slate Pit Trail, Boxwood Hiking Trail, Apollo Trail, Dream Trails in Rhine-Moselle-Eifel Land, Dream Loops, Moselle Trail). Castles and palaces (Eltz Castle, Pyrmont Castle, Ehrenburg, Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, etc.) can be visited in great numbers or enjoy the Moselle on a boat trip to Cochem (Reichsburg) and Beilstein (Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle) or the "World Cultural Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley" from Koblenz (Deutsches Eck, BUGA cable car across the Rhine) to the Loreley.
Trier, the old Roman city (Porta Nigra) or our neighbouring country Luxembourg are always worth a trip. Other worthwhile excursion destinations are the Nürburgring, the volcano park in the Eifel, Maria Laach Abbey on Lake Laach, the Klotten Wildlife and Leisure Park or Germany's most beautiful suspension rope bridge Geierlay.
Cyclists can enjoy the landscape on the Moselle cycle paths or well-developed cycle paths in Hunsrück and the Eifel.
Motorcyclists get their money's worth along the Moselle route or in the winding side valleys.

Mr. and Mrs. Klemm are accommodating and very friendly.
We have never had such nice landlords!
Burgen is a quiet little place; anyone looking for something like that is in the right place with the Klemm family.

Super stay
Very clean and well-maintained apartment. Everything available for daily use. Large living room and the kitchen has everything you need. Spacious and made-up beds. Wonderful shower, with bath towels available. Nice balcony, but you can also use the lovely garden. A garden full of flowers and fruit trees, which you are allowed to pick from! The Klemm family is very warm-hearted. We received a basket of peaches a few times, which were delicious. We spent a very pleasant afternoon together with the Klemm family in the garden enjoying beer and wine. What is also very nice is that you receive a card to use the bus and train for free. A great option if you want to leave the car behind. There is plenty to do in the area. Walking, cycling along the Moselle, visiting castles, and in Burgen there are several restaurants. We had a delicious oven dish of tagliatelle at Pico Bello, among other things. All in all, had a wonderful week. Thanks again, Fam. Klemm.

Highly recommended!
The Klemm family is very friendly and welcoming; one gets along immediately and feels well taken care of! The apartment is very nice, very tidy, and nothing is missing. You can reach the Moselle, the bus stops, and the dock of the MS Goldstück on foot in 5 minutes, which can take you to places like Cochem. Burgen is very quiet, exactly the right place to unwind and simply let your soul dangle, perfect! The gastronomic offerings in Burgen are absolutely sufficient! Especially since you can quickly reach other beautiful places by bicycle or public transport.
We will be happy to come back!
