The spacious and luxurious apartments at Resort Poort of Amsterdam are located in a small complex of three floors at the edge of the resort. They all have a view over the marina and over the park itself. From each apartment you can see the Markermeer. There are four different types.
There is the 4-person apartment (NL-1154-08). This type contains two bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, and a separate toilet. Some apartments are situated on the ground floor. There are also apartments that occupy two floors. With the latter type, the bedrooms are on the first floor.
The 8-person apartment (NL-1154-09) contains four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a separate toilet. The size of this variant ranges from 127 to 162 m², and it is on the first floor. There are also variants that consist of two floors. With these apartments, three of the four bedrooms are on the first floor.
The 10-person apartment (NL-1154-11) contains five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a sauna, and a separate toilet. The apartment consists of two floors. Four bedrooms and two of the bathrooms are located on the first floor.
Finally, there is the 12-person apartment (NL-1154-12) with six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a sauna, and a separate toilet. The apartment consists of two floors. Four bedrooms and two of the bathrooms are located on the first floor.
All apartments are modern and comfortably furnished. They contain a luxurious kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, and Wi-Fi is available. The layout may differ by apartment. The bathrooms might be in the bedrooms (en suite) or located on the central landing. There is a fine terrace or balcony with garden furniture and every apartment has a parking space for at least one car.

Resort Poort van Amsterdam is characterised by the unique location. It does not get any more genuinely North Holland than this: the authentic town of Uitdam and its surroundings, the water of the Markermeer and the lively capital Amsterdam, just fifteen minutes away by car.
The resort, which opened in 2016, has a broad selection of different, luxurious holiday homes and apartments. The entire resort was built in the style that you might expect here: authentic on the outside, but equipped inside with all luxury, comfort, and amenities. And that is truly the case for the whole resort. You get the feeling that you are staying in a separate village.
Because practically all of the houses are directly on water-thoroughfare, Resort Poort van Amsterdam is especially suited to water sports enthusiasts due to the beach, the water sports centre and the marina by appointment. But nature lovers will also find these surroundings interesting. The many water fowl, extensive meadows, and diverse nature reserves in the immediate vicinity offer plenty of opportunities.
On the resort itself, you will not have a moment of boredom. There are various facilities for young and old. These vary from a covered swimming pool to playgrounds and from a spa to a hip, stylish restaurant with a cosy bar and terrace. Here you can enjoy wonderful dishes or simply enjoy a bite to eat and a drink. For fresh rolls in the morning and the small daily groceries, you will find what you need in the mini-market. Had a wonderful weekend! Only the house itself was cleaned very poorly. Sinks were clean but a lot of dust had accumulated under the bed. There was also leftover food from previous visitors on the crockery. There are missing hooks where you can hang the towels in the bathroom and there was no cutting board. Oven was broken, but that has been resolved properly. Furthermore, the house was top. Good coffee bean machine and plenty of storage spaces. Beds were fine.

Great house. Living room very spacious, nice! Nicely situated. Cleaning can really be better! Walls in the house are full of squashed mosquitoes ... a shame. Insect screens would not be an unnecessary luxury. Killed a minimum of 6 mosquitoes in each room upon arrival. Electric fly swatter was worth gold here! Unfortunately, the oven broke down, we indicated this at the reception and they would set up action here, unfortunately this did not happen.

Reception is friendly. Nice park, a lot of labor migrants, full bus dropped off and also with nice weather a lot of noise from BBQ in their garden, the whole park echoes. It was very difficult to do extra car, okay that is true. The trees are then simply open, so parking became busier. If you have this policy, close the trees!

Unfortunately, when we had just unpacked everything we had to move from a beautiful Zuiderzee 10 apartment to another accommodation because of sewer problems. The replacement house a Westertoren 12, was less luxurious and much smaller. A number of bedrooms is so small that not even a closet could. Luxury kitchen with oven and separate microwave and fridge-freezer. Park is remote, but beautiful on the water. Restaurant looks cozy and service is friendly. Dishes pretty good at the price. Note, flat water are bottles of € 6.50, so ask explicit tap water.

Lovely 10 person house. Unfortunately you do not look over the harbor, but from the balcony you have a good view of the lake. Nice environment. With the bike a round of Monnickendam, Volendam and Marken. Restaurant also good.
