The spacious and luxurious apartments at Resort Poort of Amsterdam are located in a small complex of three floors at the edge of the resort. They all have a view over the marina and over the park itself. From each apartment you can see the Markermeer. There are two different types.
There is the 4-person apartment (NL-1154-08). This type contains two bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, and a separate toilet. Some apartments are situated on the ground floor. There are also apartments that occupy two floors. With the latter type, the bedrooms are on the first floor.
The 8-person apartment (NL-1154-09) contains four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a separate toilet. The size of this variant ranges from 127 to 162 m², and it is on the first floor. There are also variants that consist of two floors. With these apartments, three of the four bedrooms are on the first floor.
All apartments are modern and comfortably furnished. They contain a luxurious kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, and Wi-Fi is available. The layout may differ by apartment. The bathrooms might be in the bedrooms (en suite) or located on the central landing. There is a fine terrace or balcony with garden furniture and every apartment has a parking space for at least one car.

Resort Poort van Amsterdam is characterised by the unique location. It does not get any more genuinely North Holland than this: the authentic town of Uitdam and its surroundings, the water of the Markermeer and the lively capital Amsterdam, just fifteen minutes away by car.
The resort, which opened in 2016, has a broad selection of different, luxurious holiday homes and apartments. The entire resort was built in the style that you might expect here: authentic on the outside, but equipped inside with all luxury, comfort, and amenities. And that is truly the case for the whole resort. You get the feeling that you are staying in a separate village.
Because practically all of the houses are directly on water-thoroughfare, Resort Poort van Amsterdam is especially suited to water sports enthusiasts due to the beach, the water sports centre and the marina by appointment. But nature lovers will also find these surroundings interesting. The many water fowl, extensive meadows, and diverse nature reserves in the immediate vicinity offer plenty of opportunities.
On the resort itself, you will not have a moment of boredom. There are various facilities for young and old. These vary from a covered swimming pool to playgrounds and from a spa to a hip, stylish restaurant with a cosy bar and terrace. Here you can enjoy wonderful dishes or simply enjoy a bite to eat and a drink. For fresh rolls in the morning and the small daily groceries, you will find what you need in the mini-market. For the little ones, there is an indoor play paradise.
There is plenty to do in the area. There are various public golf courses. Fort Beemster is located just 15 km away. Beautiful spacious apartment. Fully equipped. Cleaning could be a lot better, especially in this time of corona. So I start my stay with cleaning and I really am not a cleaning freak.

The arrival was very friendly, the staff partly German, so that a normal conversation was very possible. Checking in was also quick and easy. The accommodation was very nice, not very clean, but you can look over it on vacation. The environment and the sea were really beautiful, the prices a bit high, but of course that is also due to the beautiful location. The resort is on the oceanfront and there is a small beach for visitors.

Accommodation is beautifully situated on the harbor and various ditches. Surroundings with lots of nature and beautiful villages and towns in the area. Upon arrival we were able to enter our accommodation around 3.15 pm, cleaning was not quite ready at 3 pm.

All that is required is vorhanden.Leider are no manuals for the futuristic oven available (the controls are not labeled) this we found the air conditioning is 2 manuals -) (Dutch, English, German) Apparently, the einzenen houses with different coffee machines equipped - so it's a gamble whether a commercial filter coffee machine, a coffee machine or a capsule machine vorfindet.Die environment is typical of this region. On the one hand flat green land, on the other a wonderful view of the sea. Wonderfully not entspannend.Wäre because the construction noise from the remote part of the park. The value for money is reasonable.The above trifles have the relaxation factor not adversely affected.

The apartment is not inviting, you feel like you are in a tunnel. Very dark, sporadically furnished and a fairly large useless area (hallway and storage room). Upon arrival, the cleanliness left something to be desired, bread leftovers on the chairs, sticky stains on the furniture, terrace dirty and old tipping .... In addition, the accommodation was very noisy and noisy, in the evening or at night furniture back was organized on the upper floor, which unfortunately unfortunately extremely was heard. Environment is beautiful, cottage was new but lacked some things in bedroom eg where you can put your clothes that you wear. They didn't have mosquito nets on our windows, so you couldn't open a window because of roads, the mosquitoes were choked with it, so it was stuffy. Previous residents had beaten everywhere mosquitoes everywhere blood splatters and dead mosquitoes on the walls, doors, pillows that was filthy. the floor was also filthy we mopped it ourselves twice to get it clean. It was a pity that we could not eat at the accommodation in the restaurant with two children, each time full of reservations, and failed to intervene. The pool could have been purer and there was a lot of floating in the water. There is also no supervision so people stepped in with the shoes.

You have everything you need on site. A small supermarket right by the sea, bike rental, a small swimming pool for the kids and great houses. We were received very friendly and were well informed in every way. The house was great, we had a sauna. Everything was there in terms of equipment in the kitchen, just don't forget spices and toilet paper. It was very modern and in fair condition. The floor was not completely wiped clean otherwise very clean.
