The 6-person houses at Resort Poort van Amsterdam are all located on the water and there are three different types.
There is type Munt (NL-1154-02). This detached house contains a bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor, there are two more bedrooms, a bathroom, and a separate toilet.
The detached holiday home Florijn (NL-1154-03) is more spacious than the Munt. It contains a bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor, you will find two more bedrooms and a second bathroom with toilet.
Finally, there is the attached Munt type (NL-1154-13). This is a semi-detached variant of the Munt described above. In the living room there is a soundproof connecting door, by which two houses of this type can be linked. With that, a detached, 12-person holiday home (NL-1154-16) is made.
All houses are furnished in a modern and comfortable manner. They contain a luxury kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. There is a fine garden with terrace and garden furniture, and each house has a parking space for one car. The layout can vary. So it is possible that bathrooms are attached to the bedrooms (en suite) or in the central hall/landing.
At Resort Poort van Amsterdam, there are also 8 and 12-person holiday homes for rent. Would you rather book an apartment? This is also possible; there are apartments for 4 and 8 people.

Resort Poort van Amsterdam is characterised by the unique location. It does not get any more genuinely North Holland than this: the authentic town of Uitdam and its surroundings, the water of the Markermeer and the lively capital Amsterdam, just fifteen minutes away by car.
The resort, which opened in 2016, has a broad selection of different, luxurious holiday homes and apartments. The entire resort was built in the style that you might expect here: authentic on the outside, but equipped inside with all luxury, comfort, and amenities. And that is truly the case for the whole resort. You get the feeling that you are staying in a separate village.
Because practically all of the houses are directly on water-thoroughfare, Resort Poort van Amsterdam is especially suited to water sports enthusiasts due to the beach, the water sports centre and the marina by appointment. The Poort Van Amsterdam Resort lies right on the Markermeer, just outside the beautiful town of Uitdam. Cottage itself is fine, nice and spacious and nice garden. Cleaning is bad. Even after a notification and a new round of cleaning it remains bad. When a report was made that the drain of the shower was not draining properly, the technical service would come by. After 2 days I did it myself because they didn't show up. The drain in your own house is no fun, let alone someone else's. Just reported on departure, and with an excuse you just have to do it. I lack authority at that park. Only the beep system seems to work. Incidentally, the restaurant staff was friendly as well as the bike rental. In our opinion, therefore, not recommended.

First impression is that the accommodation looks good and cared for in the photos. We stayed in the accommodation type Florijn 6. It is a pity that a number of things are lacking, such as: Hygiene / cleaning: Toilet did not smell fresh. of soap throughout the accommodation. Curtains full of insects. Maintenance: Dishwasher door, spring broken. Fridges not complete. Light extractor hood defective and suction. Bathroom and bedroom: Lack of hooks to hang towel or clothes. Park lighting: Mn tripping over thresholds in the park due to poor lighting.Reservation swimming pool: Mn supervision of the presence of registered persons. Who keeps an eye on whether people actually show up? Since a limited number of people were allowed, it often happened that we could not swim. you then looked into the pool, only a small number were present.

Very well placed: close to Amsterdam to go by car (P + R 15 minutes and then TRAM in less than 10 "we are in the city center), typical villages around to visit (Edam, Marken etc ...). Quiet very large house with small garden overlooking the water, if I go back to the Netherlands I will come back here.

The many emails and confirmations by mail were very disturbing. The last email even contained the name and email address of a totally different family. The arrival was fine. Beautiful route to the park via the dike. The park looks brand new and well maintained. Very nice and clean house. Beautiful and well-equipped kitchen (we have prepared a Christmas dinner of 5 courses). Everything was there and to top it off a coffee (bean) machine from Jura. Some improvements are the beds (poor quality and much too soft) and the lack of a shower door or curtain in the bathroom.

When we arrived on May 13th, the accommodation was so dirty that we first had to vacuum and wipe everything, the dishes went straight into the dishwasher, it was also dirty. Some of the beds were too hairy from animals that they had to be vacuumed first. Unfortunately there was no washing machine in the house, although it was specified. WLAN only worked from May 18th. On May 17th, from 6 p.m. in the evening, there was super chewing, there was no water. Which of course is a real challenge with a small child and four adults. Late in the evening we had water again. In the morning on 18.5 then again no water. It's a good thing that on the evening of the 17th we had filled up a bit, so we could at least brush and wash our teeth. Some of the furniture was very worn out, the sofa was so saggy that you thought you would fall on the floor. In the Nad above there is no possibility to keep the water in the shower completely, the whole bathroom is flooded every time. On 19.5 in the morning the shock, the whole living room/kitchen/dining room full of ants. We never had any groceries open, so we absolutely couldn't explain this event. When we left on the 20th we were glad to be able to leave the house. A re-booking at Europarcs Uitdam is very unlikely.

The arrival was good. The house had not been cleaned properly. The pillows on the couch were dirty. There was no replacement. The coffee maker was also not clean. Great arrival, everything was ready. Got a pass and drove to the accommodation. fantastic cottage mar still had a disadvantage, very high entry and exit both through the front door and both fronts. Beautiful decor and in the kitchen almost everything was present, we missed a toaster.we were 6 people and in the folder at the counter were 2 tickets. however, we only got one. if you are with 6 "s that is awkward vwb loading and unloading. car 1 has to leave car 2 and later car 3 in it. It would be better to have several cars belonging to 1 house for loading and unloading Have the 2nd key used. when going home the 2nd pass was given under heavy protest to let everyone load their things. There were anyway 2 parking places at this house, why only 1 access pass? We find this unfriendly and will not just return here again despite the fact that the rest was very positive.

The arrival was a bit annoying we were there around 15:15 and got neatly the explanation and key of the house. Here we drove to but on entering the house there was nig at all not cleaned. -) This was a nasty entry. Back at the reception we were allowed to wait in the restaurant until our house was cleaned. Annoying because we had a 3 month old baby with us who actually had to eat. It is also awkward that you can only enter the park with one car. This, too, is very awkward with a baby. There is so much luggage than ... Those who can not get through the car have to wait in the parking lot (or walk to the house) and can only unload when the other car is unpacked. Very cumbersome and there was no other solution for this, they said.

The park has to carry out a form of control with regard to who they get in the cottages. Next to us a house with 12 German youngsters ... many crates of beer and even though they took account of us, I think an attack for the contents and vacationers around this house.

Only downside was the subsided pavement around the house. With the garden doors really a bit dangerous if you step outside into a hole. The park was very "wet". There were large puddles of water everywhere because of the rain. That water could not go anywhere. The arrival was very compressed, since the arrival is limited to 15 - 17 h. Thus, many guests were outside and waited. The accommodation is very new and modern. That was surprising for us. Only more dishes should be stored, so that the dishwasher is also worthwhile (environmental aspect).

The park has to carry out a form of control with regard to who they get in the cottages. Next to us a house with 12 German youngsters ... many crates of beer and even though they took account of us, I think an attack for the contents and vacationers around this house.

The arrival was smooth, professional and fast. The accommodation fulfills almost all requirements. The Jura coffee machine is great, with a toddler would be a washing machine in the house pleasant. The environment is very quiet, typical North Holland, the proximity to Amsterdam and the connection with public transport very well.

The many emails and confirmations by mail were very disturbing. The last email even contained the name and email address of a totally different family. The arrival was fine. Beautiful route to the park via the dike. The park looks brand new and well maintained. Very nice and clean house. Beautiful and well-equipped kitchen (we have prepared a Christmas dinner of 5 courses). Everything was there and to top it off a coffee (bean) machine from Jura. Some improvements are the beds (poor quality and much too soft) and the lack of a shower door or curtain in the bathroom.

The arrival was a bit annoying we were there around 15:15 and got neatly the explanation and key of the house. Here we drove to but on entering the house there was nig at all not cleaned. -) This was a nasty entry. Back at the reception we were allowed to wait in the restaurant until our house was cleaned. Annoying because we had a 3 month old baby with us who actually had to eat. It is also awkward that you can only enter the park with one car. This, too, is very awkward with a baby. There is so much luggage than ... Those who can not get through the car have to wait in the parking lot (or walk to the house) and can only unload when the other car is unpacked. Very cumbersome and there was no other solution for this, they said.

Very nice time spent. Unfortunately, the weather had not always played (the rain did not drive away). Otherwise, highly recommended for the holiday to Amsterdam. The complex was very blush despite construction. Unfortunately I find the departure time before 10am too early.

Very well placed: close to Amsterdam to go by car (P + R 15 minutes and then TRAM in less than 10 "we are in the city center), typical villages around to visit (Edam, Marken etc ...). Quiet very large house with small garden overlooking the water, if I go back to the Netherlands I will come back here.

Great arrival, everything was ready. Got a pass and drove to the accommodation. fantastic cottage mar still had a disadvantage, very high entry and exit both through the front door and both fronts. Beautiful decor and in the kitchen almost everything was present, we missed a toaster.we were 6 people and in the folder at the counter were 2 tickets. however, we only got one. if you are with 6 "s that is awkward vwb loading and unloading. car 1 has to leave car 2 and later car 3 in it. It would be better to have several cars belonging to 1 house for loading and unloading Have the 2nd key used. when going home the 2nd pass was given under heavy protest to let everyone load their things. There were anyway 2 parking places at this house, why only 1 access pass? We find this unfriendly and will not just return here again despite the fact that the rest was very positive.

Beautiful surroundings, clean and tidy park, but our house was full of flattened mosquitoes against walls, ceiling and doors! Very dirty, some even with blood. This is unnecessary and does not take much extra time to clean. The oven and extractor hood are also very greasy! I first cleaned this myself!

The arrival was good. The house had not been cleaned properly. The pillows on the couch were dirty. There was no replacement. The coffee maker was also not clean. Cottage itself is fine, nice and spacious and nice garden. Cleaning is bad. Even after a notification and a new round of cleaning it remains bad. When a report was made that the drain of the shower was not draining properly, the technical service would come by. After 2 days I did it myself because they didn't show up. The drain in your own house is no fun, let alone someone else's. Just reported on departure, and with an excuse you just have to do it. I lack authority at that park. Only the beep system seems to work. Incidentally, the restaurant staff was friendly as well as the bike rental. In our opinion, therefore, not recommended.

First impression is that the accommodation looks good and cared for in the photos. We stayed in the accommodation type Florijn 6. Maintenance: Dishwasher door, spring broken. Fridges not complete. Light extractor hood defective and suction. Bathroom and bedroom: Lack of hooks to hang towel or clothes. Park lighting: Mn tripping over thresholds in the park due to poor lighting.Reservation swimming pool: Mn supervision of the presence of registered persons. Who keeps an eye on whether people actually show up? Since a limited number of people were allowed, it often happened that we could not swim. you then looked into the pool, only a small number were present.

Nice house. 6 pers bit small. But the kitchen and equipment present (Jura coffee machine) is top notch and double fridge. Living room with nice sitting area was also fine. You just miss the entrance more space to put stuff behind 6 press it quickly. Comfortable distance to Monnickendam and all good shops for groceries. If the resort is perfect for a while, then it will be a very nice place to definitely go a long weekend there.

We are not a fussy family, we spend every holiday in a holiday home. But this holiday home is an impertinence. I'll tell you: The floor wasn't clean. Cloth was black. Sheets were ripped, changed sheets at reception. The bedding that I got was also broken. The coffee machine was really sticky, the coffee grounds container was not emptied. The pan was so greasy I had to put it straight in the dishwasher. The pots were full of leftovers. There is no kitchen knife. We need to use the breakfast knives. Cutlery and crockery is a collection. We had to repair the patio door ourselves so that we could even get it. Patio furniture was covered in cobwebs and bird droppings. Windows and fly screens full of cobwebs. The ventilation in the toilets does not draw properly. The sink in the bathroom doesn't drain properly. We still pay so much money for all this. Only good thing is the ladies at the front desk are very nice

When we arrived on May 13th, the accommodation was so dirty that we first had to vacuum and wipe everything, the dishes went straight into the dishwasher, it was also dirty. Some of the beds were too hairy from animals that they had to be vacuumed first. Unfortunately there was no washing machine in the house, although it was specified. WLAN only worked from May 18th. On May 17th, from 6 p.m. in the evening, there was super chewing, there was no water. Which of course is a real challenge with a small child and four adults. Late in the evening we had water again. In the morning on 18.5 then again no water. It's a good thing that on the evening of the 17th we had filled up a bit, so we could at least brush and wash our teeth. Some of the furniture was very worn out, the sofa was so saggy that you thought you would fall on the floor. In the Nad above there is no possibility to keep the water in the shower completely, the whole bathroom is flooded every time. On 19.5 in the morning the shock, the whole living room/kitchen/dining room full of ants. We never had any groceries open, so we absolutely couldn't explain this event. When we left on the 20th we were glad to be able to leave the house. A re-booking at Europarcs Uitdam is very unlikely.
