The 6-person houses at Resort Poort van Amsterdam are all located on the water and there are three different types.
There is type Munt (NL-1154-02). This detached house contains a bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor, there are two more bedrooms, a bathroom, and a separate toilet.
The detached holiday home Florijn (NL-1154-03) is more spacious than the Munt. It contains a bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor, you will find two more bedrooms and a second bathroom with toilet.
Finally, there is the attached Munt type (NL-1154-13). This is a semi-detached variant of the Munt described above. In the living room there is a soundproof connecting door, by which two houses of this type can be linked. With that, a detached, 12-person holiday home (NL-1154-16) is made.
All houses are furnished in a modern and comfortable manner. They contain a luxury kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. There is a fine garden with terrace and garden furniture, and each house has a parking space for one car. The layout can vary. So it is possible that bathrooms are attached to the bedrooms (en suite) or in the central hall/landing.
At Resort Poort van Amsterdam, there are also 8 and 12-person holiday homes for rent. Would you rather book an apartment? This is also possible; there are apartments for 4 and 8 people.

Resort Poort van Amsterdam is characterised by the unique location. It does not get any more genuinely North Holland than this: the authentic town of Uitdam and its surroundings, the water of the Markermeer and the lively capital Amsterdam, just fifteen minutes away by car.
The resort, which opened in 2016, has a broad selection of different, luxurious holiday homes and apartments. The entire resort was built in the style that you might expect here: authentic on the outside, but equipped inside with all luxury, comfort, and amenities. And that is truly the case for the whole resort. You get the feeling that you are staying in a separate village.
Because practically all of the houses are directly on water-thoroughfare, Resort Poort van Amsterdam is especially suited to water sports enthusiasts due to the beach, the water sports centre and the marina by appointment. But nature lovers will also find these surroundings interesting. The many water fowl, extensive meadows, and diverse nature reserves in the immediate vicinity offer plenty of opportunities.

The reception staff is very friendly. The bedding was missing, the bedding that was delivered later was damp. Cutlery was not complete for the specified number of people. Internet unstable. Mold in the bathroom and bedroom on the lower floor. Great location for visiting Amsterdam.

Because we arrived after closing time of the reception, we could get our key from a safe, we had received the code by email in advance, This went very well! The cottage was beautifully clean, and equipped with every convenience, the beds were also excellent! Furthermore, we had a super nice and quiet stay, and we enjoyed the area, Volendam at about 15 minutes by car, and Amsterdam about 25 minutes, So despite the Corona we made nice trips!

Nice park, nice house but the cleaning was bad. They came to solve it with 1 cloth and 1 syringe ... I let the cleaners go ahead and then got to work themselves.

Cottage is fine. Dishwasher was broken as well as the hood. The cottage was not clean either. After reporting this, things were quickly resolved.

Check-in day Monday 3 p.m. Rain forecast. Small reception and due to corona only 2 guests enter at a time. Rest was outside in the rain. Personally expected that people would anticipate this with a hand umbrella from the park or party tent so that everyone is dry. In its entirety a park where a 9 score is possible but a meager 7 due to the number of disturbing items. Too bad because 2020 was the time to put yourself on the map for the Dutch people celebrating holiday at home. In addition, discussion about payment on the spot. Booking through Belvilla indicated including bed linen, final cleaning, service costs. TP, however, still had to pay for this. Was an annoying un-hospitable conversation with reception employee. Harbor was fine. For boat owners and gem. Close to everything. Amsterdam, Flevoland. Volendam horn etc. Harbor master super relaxed !!

Were in line at the front desk at check-in but got a bottle of drink while waiting. Check-in was quick. Have to ask for towels themselves and not clearly explained that 1 set of towels is for 1 person. Furthermore, well arranged. Cottage was neat and clean. A lot of mosquitoes in the area, but all windows that can be opened have a hearing window. To complete the house, they might have to install a fan or air conditioning.

The property was nice, but not clean. We had booked accommodation Munt 6, but got a Gulden Daalder 8. Very spacious, since we were only three, but a bit exaggerated with 8 beds.

The arrival was good. However, have to wait a little longer at the reception. The house could be cleaner, but the decor is good. In our opinion, the beach is expandable. The environment is beautiful. You can go on excursions to the neighboring cities either by car or by bike.

The staff on site were very nice. The accommodation unfortunately very dirty. There were traces of dead mosquitoes everywhere on the walls. Unfortunately, there were also a lot of mosquitoes on site, so we left after 3 days.

The rental at EuroParcs Resort Poort is very comfortable. The site is very nice and very cute.Il is possible to make a great bike ride.By against there is a lot of mosquito, fortunately they were not very voracious.

Very nice arrival in the area with very good English knowledge of the front desk staff. Accommodation was unfortunately a bit dirty but a vacuum cleaner was on site in the house and with a little effort, everything was okay. In the surroundings Uitdam there are many excursion possibilities for young and old.

The environment and the park were very appealing. Unfortunately, the staff was very superficial. For the first four days, the dirty laundry of the previous tenants was at our door. Only after repeated reminder was she picked up. We also recommend mosquito nets on all houses in front of the windows to allow a restful sleep. At our house, these were unfortunately not appropriate.

The holiday resort was very easy to reach. The resort is very nicely decorated with canals and small houses. All around, there is a lot of nature, the Markermeer, a small Yachthafen and to Amsterdam it is only 10 km. The resort has a good restaurant, a snack bar and a small supermarket. Wellness is not too short.
