Communication with the landlord is good, but we were a bit disappointed in the state of the house and garden. Most important points :
WiFi is now really a must, especially because 4G on site is also bad (even though it was known that WiFi was absent, but due to poor 4G there is no alternative)
Too few beds at the pool (2 sunbeds and 4 separate chairs)
House certainly not clean, whole ant columns on the ceiling
Regularly unpleasant odor in the house, probably due to sewerage
2nd bathroom with small sink and too small shower is not nice.
Log cabin outside is not worthy of an overnight stay, so it is not a house for 6 adults
(Sofa in room is not a good alternative)
In summary, house and garden has potential, but the whole is outdated and the current state does not justify the price for us.

Super nice communication.
Lovingly received, the owner even had a glass of wine and beer ready for us because the shops were already closed when we arrived. Received nice tips from the owner and host.
Lovely house and beautiful garden. With the swimming pool as the pinnacle for our children, of course.
Ideal place to visit beautiful places such as Pisa and Lucca. We also made the trip to Cinque Terre which is very worthwhile.

Unfortunately we had a breakdown with the car in Switzerland on the way there. Because of this we would not arrive until around 22:00. However, this was not a problem, in fact, the owner had taken care of groceries so that after hours of driving we really came "home". The villa is spacious and fully equipped. The pool was very cool in September but very spacious and with a nice view. Enjoy outdoor living among the fantastic landscape of Tuscany. We enjoyed. Tip to the owner is to fix the little things such as outside lighting, the refrigerator to get the total picture completely great. All in all it was clean, tidy and lived up to our expectation.

We have been informed extensively by telephone and e-mail about the stay in advance by the owner. The arrival by Maddalena / Elisa was well arranged and we were received at the agreed time of arrival. They also responded immediately to questions or otherwise during the holidays. It is a beautiful characteristic house with lots of space. Also possibility to sleep in a wooden house by the pool in the garden with enough beds. The location is very nice on a hill overlooking the surroundings and the village. Keep in mind mosquitoes. travel distance.

All in all had a great holiday, but the house was unfortunately a bit disappointing. The garden in particular was very muddy and there was little to see from grass. The chickens right next to the pool also made for an unpleasant odor. The welcome for Elisa and her helpfulness did receive a high rating.

Had a wonderful holiday, everything is present both on the domain and in the neighborhood. Very cheap and tasty restaurant within walking distance.Centrum of Lucca 10 minutes drive, perfect base to visit the larger cities in the area such as Livorno, Pisa, Siena and Firenze. In the vicinity of the villa, beautiful hiking and cycling routes to find. We will definitely be back !! Only the less pleasant tip are the mosquitoes, small and vicious

We were wonderfully received by Elisa, very friendly and fluent English speaking. The house itself is a typical old farmhouse, with the local atmosphere. Here and there we missed some basic comfort, such as a microwave or flying windows or enough outdoor lighting. The pool is very nice, nice big, but more than once can be cleaned a week because stands between trees. The house is perfect for trips to Lucca , Pisa, the coast and Firenze.Voor Siena and surroundings it is already a long way (more than one and a half hours drive). For those who want to experience Tuscan Tuscany, this is good, but do not expect luxury, but a lot of character.

It is a beautiful property with a nice pool there. House is equipped with all necessities. Place for 8 people ruim.Van previously had contact with the owner, it experienced very pleasant, good tips and tricks, and got ideas for fun excursies.Huis is excellent starting point for visiting several cities in area.

House located in a small village between the (very warm) locals. Proximity to the sights of Tuscany is truly magnificent. 8 km Pisa and Lucca 7km. But even Florence, Volterra and Siena at a reasonable distance. Contact and the tips of the prior owner was very nice and informative.

In general you have to say that this is not a house, which performed with passion, but is just manages. Although the Italian took very good care locally to our concerns, no homey feeling has set for us. We have so far not experienced. We know of course that this is an old house. Tuscany is fantastic, and this house is located in a small village between Lucca and Pisa, in the heart of Tuscany friendly atmosphere. The house has the atmosphere of the old Tuscan country life, it is tastefully and thoughtfully designed according to Italian tradition, there are many informative books and maps / city maps available to the wider area to explore. The deep pool invites for a daily swim, and in the shade of the trees is gorgeous.

Very nice house near Lucca and Pisa, and fairly close to the beaches of Viareggio. We loved the spacious garden and the pool. The house is cozy and well equipped, lots of books, games and videos for entertainment as well.

Very hospitable by Elise, the housekeeper. House was very clean and fresh. You get a very nostalgic experience. Lovely shower and beds were fine. The maintenance of the garden and the pool was excellent !!!
