DESCRIPTION
Giava was born from the recovery and restoration of a farmhouse of the first years of '900. The house is very close to a little stream surrounded by green and quiet woods. The owners have preserved the original structure and most of the original material like ceiling bricks and sturdy wood beams matching today the present bright colours and contemporary interior design. The property is in the countryside, just 4 kms from the suggestive medieval centre of Lucca and a few kilometres from the art cities of Pisa and Firenze. The beautiful beaches of Versilia, the well-known locations of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are not so far.
The property is located not far from Lucca. Lucca is a place that you can just walk around and discover and enjoy and it's really close to Firenze and far from the crowds. It has many things to offer to the guests as you can visit the city both by foot or cycling into the walls. There are a lot of places to see in the beautiful town, first of all the ancient walls, the Amphitheatre square and not least the Torre Guinigi. In a few kms from Lucca you will also find beautiful villas like Villa Reale, Villa Mansi or Villa Torrigiani.
The Lucca area offers also a lot of interesting naturalistic places like Garfagnana, Valle del Serchio or Piana di Lucca. For those who wish to swim in the sea, the coastal strip of Versilia, from Forte dei Marmi to Torre del Lago Puccini, offers more than 20 kilometres (12 miles) of beaches, parks and splendid countryside. Most beaches can be reached from Lucca by car in 30 to 45 minutes.
It could be also an ideal point to tour around the famous Cinque Terre. The area is easily reachable by car with the A11 super way Firenze-Pisa (called also Firenze mare) exit Capannori (11 km). From Genova you can use the A12 Genova- Rosignano. The railway station, that is not far from centre, links the city with Firenze and Pisa with hourly connection. From Firenze then you can reach all other Italian Cities.

Cancellation terms:
- Free cancellation option until 60 days before the day of arrival.
- The property will be professionally cleaned at the beginning of the rental period. Tenants are responsible for maintaining good hygienic conditions throughout the property and its accessories during their stay and at the end of the rental period. Rental prices include linen, initial cleaning, as well as gas for cooking and hot water. Electricity is charged upon consumption, and it may vary around 200/300 Euro per week. Waste disposal is the client's responsibility and must be done in accordance with local regulations. Failure to do so may result in a fine ranging from €100 to €150 upon check-out. An inspection of the premises will be conducted upon departure to ensure that no items are missing and that there is no abnormal wear and tear on the property caused by the renter (e.g., broken windows, damaged furniture, burned linen, etc.). Depending on the assessment, the security deposit will be refunded. For safety reasons, the use of the wood oven and barbecues must be arranged upon arrival and may be subject to restrictions in compliance with local environmental regulations. Tourist tax is not included in the rental rate. Depending on availability, one baby bed and high chair are usually provided free of charge. Check in is done with the SELF CHECK IN PROCEDURE. Late check-in is possible. A fee of €50 is required after 8 pm, and a fee of €100 is required after 10 pm. Any late arrivals must be arranged in advance. Arrival between 16:00 and 19:00 Departure within 10:00 Pool open from 1 May to 1 October According to Italian law (ART.109 – TULPS), the Hosts and/or managers of any touristic structure are required to register their Guests with the authorities prior to allowing their access to the facilities. In order to facilitate the registration, process you will be required to provide complete contact details (name, last name, address, telephone number etc. ), a copy of the passport and the authorization to hold these details in accordance to law (D. Lgs.196/2003 and D.Lgs 101/2018) on privacy protection, prior to your arrival at the property.
