The house is tatty: no decent and insufficient wardrobes, mattresses too big for the beds, the door of the bathroom upstairs cannot be closed because the door frame is broken, the door the shower is loose and cannot be closed, the refrigerator is too small for a house for 8 people, the fuses are exposed without a protective box, not all sockets work, the fly windows are torn, the so-called garden furniture appears to be simple wooden beach chairs without any comfort; the real garden chairs are in a shed under lock and key, the BBQ has been destroyed at the top, there is also a lot of soot, the swing is not anchored to the ground, it is very outdated and not safe for families at all with young children. The garden is little or not maintained. Bed and bath linen are not included in the rental price. A few days before arrival, we were greeted by the owner ars asked if we wanted to rent bath and bed linen at a price of € 10 per person. However, this is stated differently on the website and in the house rules. This house does not meet expectations at all, we do not think it is worth renting out!! Certainly not at this price ... My wife and I stayed at the Rinken holiday home in Neuendorf / Eifel for 4 days at the end of June 2020. It is a typical Eifel country house where nothing is missing. The house offers generous space for 2 - 8 people, is nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need for a perfect vacation. Of particular note is the beautiful seating area in front of the house with a wonderful panoramic view. Directly in front of the house you can start on small and large hikes in wonderful Eifel landscapes. The lawn behind the house is ideal for a sundower while standing in the setting evening sun. The handover of keys on arrival was completely uncomplicated. On departure, the keys are simply deposited in a small key safe. The house is highly recommended for lovers of the Eifel.

Arrival was well organized, we could go for the official arrival time, There was a drink waiting for us and there was even a snack for the dog! Cottage is clean and complete. All amenities are available. The interior is a bit outdated and needs a makeover.
Small dishwasher, maybe a bit tight for 6 people. If you don't cook much it will do.
The refrigerator and freezer are not in the kitchen but in an adjoining room, which is not always convenient.
