We ended up in a small community of about 300 people, and felt in a setting of some film to linger, where we were to go back in time. We also enjoyed the tranquility and views, and we made a beautiful bike ride to the lake in Hellenthal. To find a bakery and a butcher, we have to make some effort, but we only stayed three days, so we had a happy stock everyday items brought from home to not have to spend too much time shopping doen.Familie Martens

We were very excited, waiting for this day to spend a beautiful holiday in Germany, and as soon as we arrived at this house, the owner of this house ruined our holiday when she told us that it is forbidden to have children under the age to take 14 to recreation room. This is of course not mentioned in the house reservation and she pays 30 per hour for the sauna. But the sauna is broken, what is this nonsense, then you come the second day and tell us that we can bring children, what is this nonsense. We thank the owner of the house for a wonderful holiday, Mrs (Witch)

On arrival very kindly received by the landlord. The apartment is in a beautiful historic area on the old castle ring., Wonderfully quiet and beautiful view around. What is a shame is that there are few eating places in the vicinity, you really have to drive a bit for it, but luckily everything in the apartment is available to cook yourself.

We had a great weekend in Hellenthal-Refferscheid. Everything was fine. Everything was present in the cottage and we did not miss anything. Everything neatly clean. Good reception by the owner. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of woods so especially for walkers and dog owners a great place to go.

Accommodation is in a beautiful place so high and in the castle. However, if you want to eat somewhere in the evening you first have to go by car, very special and fully equipped.The washing machine and dryer can be used but you must first ask the key to the landlord because they are locked and grendel.Fantastische wandelomgeving.

Two days bridge in Germany as a stopover from Austria to home.The was a fantastic apartment, so complete, so nicely decorated, all top.De residents are very nice and the area is nice for walking, cycling and canoeing. Furthermore, in the village pool. Overall had super days.

We had a wonderful holiday in app.C. It is a lovely place with a very well cared for house, from which you can walk. Even a kniflookpers and egg cooker present, incl microwave and separate large oven. Beds also fine, cot and chair, she provided free of charge. We have surprised us about the rest, we were often the only if we were somewhere while it was high season. With children (daughter of 1.5) is fine bikes to the olaftalsperre and Urft sperre and good for walking to the opposite hill (right down to the gate, past the gardens, to large road, keep right and crossing river at wooden board and then climb. Also Recommend activation park (climbing and playground inside), wildgehege hellenthall (!), pool bath minster Eifel (fun for older kids), pool Mechernich (fun for little ones and yourself, incl beautiful sauna park / relaxation meadow ) and the playground at the school. Not until the last night discovered the sauna, which is very luxurious, private and extensive, we must do so much more often that is a must. Altogether a delightful cottage with a nice hostess , Petra.

It was a nice short vacation. We were 4 people, 2 parents and 2 adolescents The weather was sometimes rainy. The village is beautiful fairytale. The landlady was very friendly. The cottage was clean and everything was there to make the holiday as pleasant as possible. It truly was fully equipped. The bakery is open every day at 6.00uur and bottom of the village you can eat well for a fair price. The village was very clean but there were few people to see. This may be because we were there in late October. For rest and relaxation you need in this village are well on the leg point.The is all uphill and downhill. At the end of the trip you can feel good muscles. It was definitely worth it if you keep walking. Outside the village you have to go to the wild bird. The bird show is fantastic. Also Monschau is a aanrader.Wij go there definitely go back there.

We stayed with two couples and two dogs in Reifferscheid. The cottage was pico bello in order, all the necessary voorzien.De environment is beautiful. The castle village is a picture on zich.Wij participated in a walk organized by a local walking club, Eifelverein. A relatively heavy walk Burg Reifferscheid to Wildenburg and back, through forests, hiking trails, bike paths here and there ............ muddy, climbing over and under trees ...... but in the whole a beautiful wandeling.Zeker recommended to the "locals" once to go on stage, we were warmly onthaald.Over the whole line so wonderful weekend, beautiful autumn scenery and non-sports enthusiasts a nice uitdaging.families Scholsberg & Vandersanden

Beautifully situated holiday. Situated within the walls of the old Reifferscheid and is located amidst the forests. Ideal location for walking and towns to visit in the area. Monschau and Bad Münstereifel is definitely worth it.

Daily fresh bread available at the local bakery (even on Sundays and public holidays) and good food at the restaurant in the village Zum Wappen. Village is car free (only for residents allowed, right behind the door visible in the photo, the car can be safely parked become to be repeated for sure. The cottage has two bedrooms tidy so you can stay comfortably with four adults. The cottage is insanely clean and if you indicate that you want to use the wellness oasis then the local contact first to get everything spick and span to deliver. It is a great starting point for lovely walks and everything exudes calm, tranquility and ease. The village seems a century back in time to live apart from the car 's you see are. Highly recommended if you're looking for a relaxing weekend or week in a peaceful natural setting.

Friendly reception. The cottage is spotless, and everything works great. The location is really fantastic. From one window you look into the valley, from the other you look into the medieval street of the village village. From the cottage you can already make beautiful walks in nature. The Eifel National Park is a 20-minute drive away.

Nice hostess who responds quickly and acts on questions. The stay was very clean and had a beautiful view! The town itself seems to come out of a fairy tale. as soon as you walk out of the town, cross the bridge and turn right, you are immediately in nature. Also near beautiful towns and the beautiful Eifel area. In short, highly recommended!

From the village trails start right from where you can walk just fine with the dog. Unfortunately, the bakery in the village is bankrupt. A village 10 minutes a good supermarket. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher.
