The location is very beautiful, directly in the vicinity of the old castle complex. From there, one can wonderfully undertake various hikes or excursions in the nearby area. The apartment was as described and overall very nice and clean. The only downside was the seating area; there is a small sofa that is unfortunately positioned in such a way that you can hardly see the TV. The two armchairs that were also available were not only uncomfortable but also really dangerous, as they tip over easily if you sit too far forward. The contact person on site was very nice and helpful, thank you for that! We were there over New Year's Eve with our dog to escape the excessive fireworks at home, and for that, the place was wonderful. Silvester was indeed celebrated with some fireworks, but everything in moderation and really only on New Year's Eve, our dog can handle that.

The location was fine. We also liked the apartment. Unfortunately, the landlord, not being the owner, was not at all friendly. Very curt and businesslike. No interest in our trip and the experiences during the stay. She immediately started talking about paying the contribution due to... our cats. We had no money with us and we were allowed to do so later, as well as filling out a tourist form. Apartment was clean, but it had not had a vacuum cleaner after the last sleepover. Shame.

The location is really beautiful. The house consists of three apartments, ours was located on the first floor and it can accommodate four people. We were there with two adults and a dog. The stairs were a bit slippery and steep for our dog (13), so if possible, for a minimal additional charge, the apartment on the ground floor is the better option in that circumstance. The kitchen is complete, as is the shower and everything was very well maintained and clean. Real class. Reifferscheid is a perfect base (by car, that is) for day trips in the Eifel (0.5 to 1 hour drive) but also for walks. The caretaker was friendly, helpful and very reasonable. The only point of attention was that the costs for the dog were extra (I didn't understand that, I thought it was included). Nevertheless, I would highly recommend it to everyone.

The location of the apartment is unique in the fortress wall of a ruin. The apartment is very well equipped. The environment is beautiful, we have every day nice walks with our dog made. You can use a washing machine and dryer. The owner is very friendly. Too bad we did not have WiFi the last day, for adolescents that is a first necessity of life. Our dog often hit because of the many sounds tourists who walked under our window to visit the ruin, other guests on the stairs. But that is more of a point for us to take into account for the next time. All in all a great apartment in a beautiful place!

In July we, two people, stayed in the property. The arrival was pleasant and well accessible, even though the navigation indicated that the last part is accessible only by foot. This is about 100 meters. The apartment is beautiful, high situated next to a castle that gives a good overview of the valley of the village of Reifferscheid. The accommodation was neat and tidy, giving a homey atmosphere. The area is very quiet, but we had booked the holiday too. Unfortunately, there was little catering in the area. There was some sales and the only restaurant within walking distance had summer trips. To get things from the apartment we have used the car daily, as everything is scattered around the area. All in all, during the two weeks we stayed there, we have enough to see and do things, but we can also come to rest.

We had a wonderful holiday in a unique location. The reception was very welcoming. The house was fine and clean. The village is only a restaurant, but one where you can eat. The restaurant is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Unfortunately there is no bakery in the village. Luckily there was an oven present in the house, we still had fresh roll. Schleiden are three supermarkets, convenient for shopping.

It can be perfectly walked directly from the house, but also a little further (there are many steep paths, so bring good shoes) beautiful walks through nature, history and culture!

Eating out was very good at "Zur Kupferhard" in Reifferscheid (walking distance from the cottage). The cottage is located in a castle and that is very special. Our dogs did have difficulty with the stairs of the house, the entrance is like a steep wooden staircase. Our Golden Retriever did do, our Leonberger had this trouble. The quality of the bedding was poor.

It is a beautiful apartment with all the luxury features! Unfortunately we had two weeks worse / wet weather, but that led there that we have visited the area well. This is really worth. There are many fun things to take with children aged 9 and 10 years. We have the nearby dams and lakes visited (followed by visit to laundry-und eifel museum Heimbach is fine then, really doemuseum for kids), 2 mines visited the adler and wolf park in Kassel Berg, the wildlife park, various castles and the towns of Bad Munstereifel and Heimbach are really worth a visit. Our boys totally loved it, within the walls of the castle to sleep, because that has actually done one.

We had no money with us and we were allowed to do so later, as well as filling out a tourist form. Apartment was clean, but it had not had a vacuum cleaner after the last sleepover. Shame.

The location is really beautiful. The house consists of three apartments, ours was located on the first floor and it can accommodate four people. We were there with two adults and a dog. The stairs were a bit slippery and steep for our dog (13), so if possible, for a minimal additional charge, the apartment on the ground floor is the better option in that circumstance. The kitchen is complete, as is the shower and everything was very well maintained and clean. Real class. Reifferscheid is a perfect base (by car, that is) for day trips in the Eifel (0.5 to 1 hour drive) but also for walks. The caretaker was friendly, helpful and very reasonable. The only point of attention was that the costs for the dog were extra (I didn't understand that, I thought it was included). Nevertheless, I would highly recommend it to everyone.

The location of the apartment is unique in the fortress wall of a ruin. The apartment is very well equipped. The environment is beautiful, we have every day nice walks with our dog made. You can use a washing machine and dryer. The owner is very friendly. Too bad we did not have WiFi the last day, for adolescents that is a first necessity of life. Our dog often hit because of the many sounds tourists who walked under our window to visit the ruin, other guests on the stairs. But that is more of a point for us to take into account for the next time. All in all a great apartment in a beautiful place!

The apartment is beautifully located in a quaint, historic town. The cottage is cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful garden, where we could enjoy because of bad weather. Unfortunately not Nevertheless, we have many beautiful trips made in the area; Bad Münstereifel, Monschau, the wildlife park in Hellenthal, open-air museum in Kommern. When the weather is a cruise on the Rursee a getaway. We also enjoyed our daily morning walk in the town itself.

We had a wonderful holiday in a unique location. The reception was very welcoming. The house was fine and clean. The village is only a restaurant, but one where you can eat. The restaurant is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Unfortunately there is no bakery in the village. Luckily there was an oven present in the house, we still had fresh roll. Schleiden are three supermarkets, convenient for shopping.

In July we, two people, stayed in the property. The arrival was pleasant and well accessible, even though the navigation indicated that the last part is accessible only by foot. This is about 100 meters. The apartment is beautiful, high situated next to a castle that gives a good overview of the valley of the village of Reifferscheid. The accommodation was neat and tidy, giving a homey atmosphere. The area is very quiet, but we had booked the holiday too. Unfortunately, there was little catering in the area. There was some sales and the only restaurant within walking distance had summer trips. To get things from the apartment we have used the car daily, as everything is scattered around the area. All in all, during the two weeks we stayed there, we have enough to see and do things, but we can also come to rest.

It is a beautiful apartment with all the luxury features! Unfortunately we had two weeks worse / wet weather, but that led there that we have visited the area well. This is really worth. There are many fun things to take with children aged 9 and 10 years. We have the nearby dams and lakes visited (followed by visit to laundry-und eifel museum Heimbach is fine then, really doemuseum for kids), 2 mines visited the adler and wolf park in Kassel Berg, the wildlife park, various castles and the towns of Bad Munstereifel and Heimbach are really worth a visit. Our boys totally loved it, within the walls of the castle to sleep, because that has actually done one.

Spacious, full house everything really clean and in good condition. Very friendly welcome and a friendly atmosphere. Great property located within the outer wall of the castle, with magnificent views of the forest and the castle. For people who love history and love of peace certainly recommended. In the village, no shops (but only 5 minutes away by car in next village), no bakery and restaurants (there is a small cafe with snacks). Parking in the vicinity house is fine. It can be perfectly walked directly from the house, but also a little further (there are many steep paths, so bring good shoes) beautiful walks through nature, history and culture!

We had a great holiday, especially because of the surroundings and the tranquility. Wonderful hiking in nature, directly from the cottage to begin. Eating out was very good at "Zur Kupferhard" in Reifferscheid (walking distance from the cottage). The cottage is located in a castle and that is very special. Our dogs did have difficulty with the stairs of the house, the entrance is like a steep wooden staircase. Our Golden Retriever did do, our Leonberger had this trouble. The quality of the bedding was poor.
