Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung. Viel Platz. Sehr sauber. Das allerschönste ist die große wunderbare Terrasse. Hier kann man jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang bewundern. Magda und Lakis waren sehr liebe und nette Gastgeber.

Wir haben zwei Wochen im September unseren Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung Matina 2 genossen. Wirklich alles was in den Bewertungen bisher positiv erwähnt wurde, können wir nur bestätigen - ob es die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung, die luftige Terrasse der einmalige Ausblick oder auch der fast schon private Strand ist. Selbst für die Hunde-ängstlichen war es immer wieder schön, von Max und Spock begrüsst zu werden. Ganz besonders in Erinnerung werden wir unsere herzlichen Gastgeber Magda und Lakis behalten. Ein weiterer Ferienaufenthalt ist fest geplant! Vielen Dank auch an dasJassu-Team, das in diesen unsicheren Corana-Zeiten stets freundlich für Nachfragen zur Verfügung stand.

Wohnung Die Wohnung umfasst das 1. OG des Hauses. Die Ausstattung ist sehr umfangreich und lässt keinerlei Wünsche offen. Teller, Besteck, Gläser, Messer, Handtücher, Bettwäsche etc. sind in großem Umfang vorhanden. Die Wohnung hat zwei Schlafzimmer, ein relativ großes Bad, eine Wohnküche und ein Wohnzimmer. Dazu kommen zwei sehr große Balkone, von der Westseite kann man wunderbar den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Alles ist sehr sauber. Lage Das Haus liegt in einem 8.000 m2 großen wunderschönen Garten, der überwiegend mit Olivenbäumen besetzt ist. Vom Balkon hat man einen tollen Blick auf das Meer, Sonnenuntergänge lassen sich sehr gut beobachten. Es gibt einen rund 5-minütigen Fußweg zu einer schönen, einsamen Badebucht. Im Garten sind zwei sehr liebe Hunde, die offensichtlich an Gäste gewohnt sind. Da wir im Haus alleine waren, haben uns die Hunde ein angenehmes Sicherheitsgefühl vermittelt. Sonstiges Die Vermieter sind sehr (!) freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Sehr schön eingerichtete Wohnung, nette Ver mieter, alles super. Fußläufig zum Strand, die etwas schöneren sind mit einem Auto leicht zu erreichen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Hallo liebe Magda und lieber Lakis, wir waren voll begeistert über den wunderbaren Ausblick zum Meer und den Bergen. In Eurem wunderschönen und sehr sauberen Haus haben wir uns super wohl gefühlt. Danke für das nette und freundliche Miteinander. Es war Entspannung pur! Wir werden wieder kommen. Es war die beste Unterkunft seit wir Griechenland bereisen - so richtig nach unserem Geschmack.

Wir haben das Obergeschoss des Ferienhauses im Sommer 2016 für 2 Wochen mit 3 Kindern besucht. Das besondere an dem Haus ist, dass es sich nicht um ein "typisches Ferienhaus" handelt, sondern von der Lage, Ausstattung und Pflege mehr einem "eigenen Haus" entspricht. Alles ist vorhanden und an seinem Platz. Verschiedene Verbrauchsgüter sind an den Stellen in Schubladen und Schränken wo ich sie auch verstauen würde. Für Kinder sind Spiele vorhanden und auf dem Balkon steht ein großer TV bereit. Die OG-Wohnung bietet insgesamt 2 Schlafzimmer (je Doppelbett), ein Zimmer (2 Einzelbetten), Bad und Küche. Das Haus steht auf einem wunderschönen Gartengrundstück mit tropischen Früchten Blumen, einem liebevoll ausgerüsteten Grillpavillion und einer extrem praktischen Außendusche. Die beiden Hunde Max und Spock bewachen das Grundstück. Phänomenal ist die Aussicht von dem gigantischen Balkon, der die Größe einer durchschnittlichen 2-Zimmer Stadtwohnung hat. Dort herrscht immer eine angenehm kühlende leichte Briese. Von hier aus blickt man abends dem wundervollen Sonnenuntergang entgegen oder frühstückt morgens mit Blick auf Meer und Olivenbäume. Der Strand ist in Laufnähe (c. 5 Minuten). Er ist sehr schön und wenig von Touristen frequentiert. Kyparissia ist ca. 15-20 Laufminuten entfernt. Dort findet 1 mal pro Woche ein hübscher Wochenmarkt statt. Wir sind von den Eigentümern sehr liebevoll begrüßt und umsorgt worden. Bei der Anreise bekamen wir frische Oliven und Öl von der eigenen Plantage, Honig und Gebäck, und für den Fahrer stand ein kaltes Bier im Kühlschrank. Wir sind sehr zufrieden gewesen, hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und bedanken uns nochmal herzlich bei der "Gastfamilie"!

Lakis and Magda are very lovable hosts. Their house in the olive grove, in the shade of large trees, is a cooling and quiet oasis, the terrace offers plenty of space and a magnificent view of the sunset. The bathing bay, only 300m away (!), enclosed by spectacular hollowed-out rocks, is almost a private beach in September. We really enjoyed the clear, warm, soft water without swimwear!

A very beautiful vacation apartment with a lot of private atmosphere. The very large terrace with sea view is also great (sunsets!). Everything you need and even more is available. The host Magda is extremely nice and accommodating. We really enjoyed her olives and the oil. And the two dogs are also very sweet. Everything was consistently more than just okay, so we are full of praise.

We visited the upper floor of the holiday home in summer 2016 for 2 weeks with 3 children. The special thing about the house is that it is not a "typical holiday home", but more like a "house of your own" in terms of location, equipment and maintenance. Everything is available and in its place. Various consumables are in drawers and cupboards in the places where I would store them. There are games for children and a large TV on the balcony. The upstairs flat offers a total of 2 bedrooms (each with a double bed), one room (2 single beds), bathroom and kitchen. The house stands on a beautiful garden plot with tropical fruit flowers, a lovingly equipped barbecue pavilion and an extremely practical outdoor shower. The two dogs Max and Spock guard the property. The view from the gigantic balcony, which is the size of an average 2-room city flat, is phenomenal. There is always a pleasantly cooling light breeze. From here you can watch the wonderful sunset in the evening or have breakfast in the morning with a view of the sea and olive trees. The beach is within walking distance (c. 5 minutes). It is very beautiful and not very frequented by tourists. Kyparissia is about 15-20 minutes walk away. There is a nice weekly market once a week. We were welcomed and cared for very lovingly by the owners. On arrival we were given fresh olives and oil from their own plantation, honey and pastries, and there was a cold beer in the fridge for the driver. We were very satisfied, had a wonderful holiday and would like to thank the "host family" again!

Great house on a great property, excellent location, super equipped..., all in all we had a dreamlike and relaxing time. As we had also rented Matina 1, it was of course great that we had everything to ourselves. The owners are very nice and their olive oil is outstanding! We felt very comfortable!

We rented Matina 2 for 2 weeks in September and were very enthusiastic about the location and the equipment of the flat. The view from the terrace is magnificent and the proximity to the sea is super.

Flat
The flat comprises the 1st floor of the house. The equipment is very extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. Plates, cutlery, glasses, knives, towels, bed linen etc. are available in large quantities. The flat has two bedrooms, a relatively large bathroom, an eat-in kitchen and a living room. In addition, there are two very large balconies, from the west side you can watch the sunset wonderfully. Everything is very clean.

Location
The house is situated in a beautiful garden of 8.000 m2, which is mainly occupied by olive trees. From the balcony you have a great view of the sea, sunsets can be watched very well. There is a 5-minute walk to a beautiful, secluded bathing bay. There are two very nice dogs in the garden, which are obviously used to guests. As we were alone in the house, the dogs gave us a pleasant feeling of security.

Where else can you find 200 m of lonely coarse-grained sandy beach with shady rock formations in the main holiday season, where a maximum of 4 parties stayed at the same time during the three weeks we were there? We were simply thrilled by the wonderfully warm sea and the wonderful, always fully shaded terrace of Matina 2, where all the life was happening, at up to 45° in the shade. This is where the special feature of the house became apparent: on the one hand, it is shaded by tall pine trees themselves, on the other hand, it has a double roof construction that shades the ceiling of the upper floor, so that the light breeze that blows almost constantly between the roof and the deck can provide cooling for the ceiling. Our initial concern about the lack of air conditioning turned out to be unfounded. Only a 5-minute walk from the house is the Apollo Resort Hotel. You can eat well there and they are also helpful if you need, for example, a larger taxi for the return trip to Kalamata or a rental car. For larger purchases, the taxi brought us home from the supermarket for 4 €. So we could largely do without a rental car. Apart from that, everything described in the other reviews is true, especially the friendliness and generosity of Magda and her husband, whom we thank very much.

This was our second stay in Matina 2. This time we were here for almost three weeks. The same applies: it's a dream here, the house, the surroundings, the beach, the landlords - everything. It deserves more than five stars.

We enjoyed our two-week holiday in September in the Matina 2 flat. We can only confirm everything that has been mentioned positively in the reviews so far - whether it is the furnishings of the holiday flat, the airy terrace, the unique view or the almost private beach. Even for those of us who are afraid of dogs, it was always nice to be greeted by Max and Spock. We will especially remember our warm hosts Magda and Lakis. Another holiday stay is firmly planned!

Beautiful holiday flat. Plenty of space. Very clean. The most beautiful thing is the large wonderful terrace. Here you can admire the sunset every evening.
