Große Schlafzimmer mit jeweilsTerrassen dran, Zweckmäßige Küche und Duschbad. Der Garten darf mit seinen Früchten mit genutzt werden. Unaufdringliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter, die sich prompt kümmern, wenn es Probleme gibt. Zum weitläufigen Strand ohne Bewirtschaftung sind es 200 Meter und in den Ortskern mit einigen Tavernen, Cafés und Minimarkt doppelt so weit. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Wahl und nutzen den Standort für Badeurlaub mit Ausflügen nach Olympia, Vassas, Kalamata und noch einiges mehr.

simply equipped double houses located amidst an olive grove, right in front of the dunes from where you can walk to the beautiful, expansive beach of the wonderful west coast... in the house, 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen, bathroom, and a very nice terrace... the very nice German-speaking boss welcomed us in the middle of the night at the church in the small village after the Patras ferry had an 8-hour delay and led us to the secluded cottage... a bottle of local wine and olive oil awaited us as a welcome gift... nature lovers who appreciate simplicity will definitely feel very comfortable here... we felt very comfortable in this place... thanks again for everything

We, 68 and 74 years old, spent a wonderful holiday in Niko's house No. 4. Simply furnished, but everything you need is there. Plus a beautiful garden with oranges and lemons, and the way to the beach is easily manageable even for elderly people. The sea was a dream, clear, clean water and not too crowded (mid to late June). Nikos and his wife were very friendly, we were greeted with wine and olive oil, and with a few words of Greek and hands and feet, we "understood" each other wonderfully. Kokavatos has some very nice taverns. For larger shopping, it's better to go to Zacharo, but you can also get the essentials in the village. All in all, 2 very relaxing weeks in a beautiful country with hospitable people.

A very difficult-to-find facility - no navigation. Bungalow settlement located among orange, olive, and lemon trees behind a dune. Rooms and terraces adequately equipped. Beach very beautiful but dirty, mainly plastic waste (May). Will the beach be cleaned before the season starts? The Greeks are very friendly. Good Greek cuisine in the village. A holiday for people who can deal with themselves. Watch out for mosquitoes... Otherwise, a nice holiday without television, phone, and internet ;)

We were very satisfied with the Nikos complex again. As always very friendly landlords, the house in order, as always very relaxing. We will probably book the ninth time in 2016. We traveled by car ferry from Ancona to Patras and booked through Jassu Reisen. Unfortunately, we had to find out that Minoan Lines uses old and unkempt ships. Future bookings with Minoan not recommended.

We spent a very nice holiday with 5 people (2 adults + 3 children). The holiday home, the entire complex, and the surrounding area fully met our expectations. It was overall pleasantly quiet, the children could move freely on the grounds, and the holiday home was simply but adequately equipped. Particularly noteworthy are the very friendly and accommodating host family, the nearby beach, and the many excursion possibilities. However, the initial cleaning could have been a bit more thorough. Basic necessities could be purchased locally; for larger shopping trips, we drove to nearby Zacharo (about 5 minutes by car). In the evenings, there were several options within walking distance, such as snack bars, taverns, and cafes. Conclusion: Highly recommended. We would love to come back.

We were a family of three staying in the resort for the first time. We really liked the holiday complex. The holiday houses were surrounded by olive, fig, lemon, and orange trees. Banana plants, hibiscus, and oleander completed the tree population. The apartment was clean and adequately equipped. Everything you need was there. Satellite TV was not available, and we didn't miss it. We hardly noticed the other holidaymakers. The natural beach is about a 5-minute walk away. After the beach visit, you first stand under one of the outdoor showers before heading to your own shower. Although it was very warm, we felt very comfortable on our covered and beautifully overgrown (almost opaque) terrace. The landlord is very nice and speaks good German. Occasionally, he would come by and ask if everything was okay. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the center of Kakovatos, where you will find, among other things, a small supermarket and good restaurants. Unfortunately, time passed by too quickly. We didn't miss anything! We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

The house with its two large verandas is located in a beautiful olive and fruit orchard, completely shaded - so it stays cool even in high heat. It is lovingly equipped down to the smallest details, has a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly landlords who welcomed us with olive oil and wine. The sandy beach, just 5 minutes away, is ideal for children; we went with our two grandchildren (10 and 12), who were thrilled.

We spent 2 wonderful and unforgettable weeks here and can wholeheartedly recommend this offer! Ideal for nature-loving, quiet, contemplative holidays without television, hustle, and luxury. Very family-friendly. The property is kept close to nature, paradise-like overgrown with a variety of shade-providing trees and bushes full of flowers and fruits, populated by a flock of free-ranging chickens. Perfect separation of living areas for each house and (thanks to clever architecture) house sections. Spacious, high, friendly furnished bedrooms; simple but well-kept bathroom; simple but adequately equipped kitchen; two large, covered, shady terraces (as a daytime living room); everything spotlessly clean; we didn't need air conditioning. Attentive and hospitable care by the older landlord couple (they welcomed us with a bottle of olive oil and wine from their own crops!); we were also taken care of by the perfect German-speaking son of the landlords, who was on vacation at home with his German wife from Lower Saxony. 5 minutes to the wide, kilometer-long and largely natural dream sandy beach (you bring your own sunshade, which is ready in the holiday home, lie directly in the sand and later shower under the outdoor shower of the holiday home), where sea turtles lay their eggs at night and in the moonlight the white beach daffodils smell. Tip: leave the property through the small door near the fig tree at house no. 10 and go over the dunes to the beach; then you will come directly to the quiet and untouched part of the beach between the busy beach bars of Kakovatos and Zacharo. We did our entire trip without our own vehicle and environmentally consciously only with public transport (train, ferry, bus), which is easily manageable with a little goodwill because you only need to take a few things with you for a summer in Greece. Buses depart from Patras.

A lovely holiday home in the midst of a very green garden area, ideal for families with children. 10 min walk to the beach, a very beautiful sandy beach. Very nice landlords who speak good German. You can eat well and affordably in the village, and also have the opportunity to visit the next larger town (Zacharo) 5km away, which offers even more shopping options. We were very satisfied and would recommend the property 100%.

There are two bedrooms with bright marble floors. The small kitchen is simple but functional. The terrace is located in a green area, overlooking blooming oleander bushes. The owners are very friendly! When the taxis were on strike, one of the owners offered to drive us to the neighboring village of Zacharo. The forest fires were only active on the hills (in 2010 only visible if you know about it), so the surroundings of Kakovatos remained undamaged. In the village, you can buy everything in the small shop in the best quality! The fine sandy beach is one of the most beautiful we have seen. In our opinion, the holiday resort is perfectly designed. Although the houses are built in staggered positions, everyone has their privacy. This was our second time there, and we would be thrilled if it were possible to visit again! We spent 10 days with our 4 children at Nikosia and enjoyed the loving hospitality and the location surrounded by fruit trees. The furnishings are simple but sufficient and carefully chosen. The only thing that was sometimes difficult for us was the way to the beach through the dunes with the youngest child (almost 2). All in all, it was a very relaxing stay and we would love to come back.

Attentive and hospitable care by the elderly landlord couple (a bottle of olive oil and wine from their own cultures were on the table at the reception!); we were also looked after above all by the landlords' perfectly German-speaking son, who had just returned home on holiday from Lower Saxony with his German wife. 5 minutes to the wide, kilometre-long and largely natural dream beach (you bring your own parasol, which is provided in the holiday home, lie directly in the sand and shower later under the outdoor shower of the holiday home), where the sea turtles lay their eggs at night and the white beach daffodils are fragrant in the moonlight. Tip: leave the property through the small door by the fig tree at house no. 10 and walk across the dunes to the beach; this will take you directly to the quiet and unspoilt part of the beach between the busy beach bars of Kakovatos and Zacharo. We made our whole trip without our own vehicle and environmentally conscious only by public transport (train, ferry, bus), which is easily manageable with a bit of good will, as you only need to take a small amount of luggage for a summer in Greece. Perfect holiday in absolutely idyllic surroundings. Very nice service. Air conditioning unfortunately only in a few of the 12 houses, but large fans on request. Only drawback: you can park in the middle of the plantation. Comfortable, but not so nice to look at and quite noisy, especially if you live directly at the exit like we did. very beautifully situated house, good facilities and a lovely wild garden. Super close to the sea. The path is easy to follow, even with small children. The proximity to Olympia and Vassai and many other destinations is great. You can also eat good Greek food at fair prices in the surrounding tavernas.

Large bedrooms with terraces, functional kitchen and shower room. The garden can be used with its fruits. Unobtrusive and helpful landlords who promptly take care of any problems. It is 200 metres to the extensive beach, which is not managed, and twice as far to the centre of the village with its tavernas, cafés and mini-market. We were very happy with our choice and use the location for beach holidays with excursions to Olympia, Vassas, Kalamata and much more.

Kakovatos, however, is one of these jewels. A spacious flat. A quiet place with a small, lively centre in the evening. Still, no hustle and bustle or overcrowding. Beautiful beach, whether secluded or with more people, something for everyone. And that's exactly what we love! Great holiday. We will be back!

Every now and then he would stop by and ask if everything was alright. The centre of Kakovatos is about 10 minutes walk away. There you will find a small supermarket and good restaurants. Unfortunately, the time went by much too quickly. We did not miss anything! We felt very comfortable and would like to come back again.

Simple but perfectly adequate accommodation in a paradisiacal, shady garden where you can help yourself to tomatoes at any time for your own consumption. Cold showers under banana and lemon trees in the garden. Hot showers in the house, of course. Super nice landlady, who gave us homemade olive oil as a welcome gift and otherwise kept a low profile, but was always there when you needed or wanted something. Even bicycles are there, but just enough to take you to the nearby village for shopping. Beach within walking distance.

Small oasis on a plot in the middle of olive trees. The distance to the natural sandy beach is about 250 metres. The cottages consist of 2 flats, each with a covered veranda. Greek furniture, kitchen with the necessary utensils, bathroom with shower and toilet, clean and always warm water, fresh laundry once a week. The Swiss tenants were very friendly and we felt comfortable. Restaurants were within walking distance.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time in this holiday home. The house is very well equipped and offers space for a family of six (parents, 2 teenagers, children aged 2 and 7), including a very large terrace. You don't hear anything from the other holidaymakers on the grounds, as the construction is very well thought-out and the grounds are densely planted. The only drawback is that the path to the beach through the dunes can get quite hot (as the pine trees etc. have been burnt down by the fires).

There were five of us in Nikos (2 adults, 3 children). The house is in very good condition, well equipped and clean. The nearby sandy beach (5 minutes walk) is a dream, even if it is not regularly maintained. Even without air conditioning it was reasonably cool, as the house is shaded by the many plants. The manager speaks good German. Unfortunately, it was sometimes very noisy in the evenings/at night (neighbours, music in the village, dogs).

We enjoyed our holiday very much. The fresh tomatoes and figs were wonderful. As a great icing on the cake, the little Greek tortoise came by regularly for a piece of cucumber. Very relaxing! Greetings to Kakovatos
