Welcome to HARRY'S HUT!

Our newly built, very quiet, comfortable wooden house/chalet/ski hut/mountain hut with its magnificent panoramic view of Scharnitz and the surrounding mountains accommodates 14 people on 250 sqm.

IDEAL FOR GROUPS AND FAMILIES!

Sauna, whirlpool, heated outdoor seating area, and game room will make your vacation an experience.
The wooden house is located directly on the hiking paths and mountain bike routes of the NATURE PARK KARWENDEL. The cross-country ski trail and the Seefeld ski resort are in the immediate vicinity.
Bicycles are available free of charge for both houses.

In the best, sunniest location, on the edge of the forest above Scharnitz, they overlook the village surrounded by the surrounding mountains.
The house is located on a beautiful hillside at This altitude is very pleasant for pollen allergy sufferers. The house itself is also very allergy-friendly due to wooden and stone floors.
5 free parking spaces and 1 garage are directly available at the house. Scharnitz can be reached toll-free from Germany. The holiday home is located in Scharnitz in Tyrol between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Innsbruck, 5 km from Mittenwald and 10 km before Seefeld.
The area is a paradise for hikers, mountain bikers, skiers, cross-country skiers, paragliders, hang gliders, and mountaineers. Many mountain lakes nearby invite you to swim in the summer.
In the winter, curling and horse-drawn sleigh rides are popular with guests. With our 6 sleds, you can experience pure winter fun on one of the two natural toboggan runs in the area.
The holiday cabin has a heated outdoor seating area with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountain panorama. Directly from the comfortable cabin, you can start your excursions on foot or with one of our 11 bicycles into the Karwendel valleys. The cross-country ski trails of the Olympiaregion Seefeld are 900m from the house. It is 10km to the Seefeld ski resort and 5km to the family ski resort Mittenwald. The places Mittenwald, Seefeld, Innsbruck, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen are always worth a trip. The Bavarian royal castles, Linderhof and Schloß Neuschwanstein, are also not far away.
The holiday home with its 250 sqm and space for up to 14 people offers you the right accommodation for your summer or winter holiday.

Dreamlike

As a young group we were allowed to spend a long weekend in Harry's cottage.
The all-round service was wonderful and there is everything you need in a self-catering holiday home

Great holiday

We stayed in Harry`s cottage last year with 3 families. It was a dream holiday. The location of the house with the heated terrace was brilliant for a nice breakfast in the morning and a cosy end to the evening. The house is really beautiful and very spacious. We like to come there again and again.

Beautiful vacation, great house, great landscape.

We spent two wonderful weeks in Harry's Chalet with 10 people (4 adults, 6 teenagers/children). From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. Mrs. Schnell welcomed us very friendly, showed us the entire house, instructed us on all the appliances, and explained the special features. After the long drive, everyone was thrilled about the professional coffee machine, which was already filled with coffee beans. In addition, there were cool drinks for young and old in the fridge.
The house is very spacious, extremely well-maintained, very clean, and very well-equipped. Especially in the kitchen, everything necessary for catering for larger groups was available. In the wellness area, bathrobes and towels were provided in sufficient quantities. Sauna additives were also available and could be used.
Even in bad weather, the outdoor seating area provided a warm and dry place with a view of the valley.
There were also washing machines and a dryer, even including detergent and fabric softener, which we could use free of charge to wash the house laundry and our own clothes.
The surroundings of Scharnitz offer many opportunities to make the vacation days varied. Many hiking trails and swimming lakes, the towns of Seefeld, Mittenwald, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, numerous gorge hikes, ... - the region offers something for everyone.
The town center of Scharnitz is not very appealing, but this is more than offset by the fantastic surroundings.
The support before, during, and after the vacation by Mrs. Schnell and Harry's Hüttenteam was quick, always friendly, and very straightforward. Even sending forgotten belongings was promptly taken care of.
A smaller disadvantage of the house is that there is no supermarket in the village. However, well-known providers have offers in the nearby Mittenwald or Seefeld.
We can definitely recommend the house and would book it again at any time!

Luxurious and amazing cozy chalet

Harrys Chalet is an amazing place to stay. We stayed with 8 people for 3 days and had the greatest time ever. Karin checked us is and explained everything to us. The view from the living room and kitchen is stunning!
The whole chalet is super clean and you can see that the people who owns the place did the decoration with their heart.
The bedrooms are very cozy. The mattraces are very high standard. We slept like Babies after hours of mountain hiking. Some of the hiking tracks are starting direct from the Chalet. Perfect.
The kitchen is fully professional equipped. Even two dish washers and two fridges! Awesome. And we loved the delicious coffee from the Jura coffee machine!
In the afternoon we enjoyed the Sauna (also super clean) and the chill out room right next.
The funny thing is...what we have seen on the photo in the internet was already great - but when you see it in real - it's amazing! We could not expect more. I would definitely come back.

Family vacation in Harry's Cottage

We wanted to go on a family vacation
with 3 generations under one roof.
While browsing the internet, we came across Harry's Hut
and were immediately excited about its layout.
There were 12 of us and we were spread out over 3 floors -
this was a wonderful time for both children and adults.
Even the 4 different nationalities were not a problem -
Americans, French, Russians and of course Germans all enjoyed the days.
For example, during breakfast together around the huge table
everyone found their place and also enjoyed a delicious mixture
of bread, rolls, cheese, sausage, eggs, pickles and tomatoes -
and for the sweet ones, honey and various homemade jams.
In addition, there was yogurt, muesli, fruit and also tea upon request,
plus of course milk, chocolate, cappuccino and coffee.
Our 3 girls Lilly and Lucie and Isabella happily enjoyed the shared bath
in the evening in the whirlpool - after an eventful day.
But Daniel didn't feel quite comfortable in this girl group in the water -
he preferred to play table football, do climbing exercises and then shower with his father.
And now we want to say THANK YOU to the Schnell family for the opportunity
to enjoy this family time in their house, HARRY'S HUTTE!!!

Eine Traumhütte

В этом доме мы провели совместный отпуск всей нашей большой семьей, которая состоит из двенадцати человек. Мы были очень приятно удивлены тем, как всё в доме обдумано и обустроено до малейших деталей (начиная кухонными приборами и заканчивая велосипедами, которые можно в любое время взять просто так).
Хозяева дома очень приветливые люди, к которым можно по любому вопросу в любое время обратиться.

Successful vacation!!!

The holiday home exceeded our expectations in terms of location and facilities. We felt really comfortable and there was enough space for everyone. Tip top clean and there were also carpet protectors and socket safety covers for our little children (crawlers). Many excursions as well as hikes directly from the house rounded off this holiday. We will gladly come back!!!

Wunderschöner Urlaub, tolles Haus, tolle Landschaft 2016-07-31

Wir haben mit 10 Personen (4 Erwachsene, 6 Jugendliche/Kinder) zwei wunderschöne Wochen in Harry's Chalet verbracht. Schon bei der Ankunft hatte man das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Frau Schnell hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, uns das gesamte Haus gezeigt, in alle Geräte eingewiesen und die Besonderheiten erklärt. Begeistert waren nach der langen Fahrt alle über die Profi-Kaffeemaschine, die bereits mit Bohnen befüllt war. Außerdem lagen im Kühlschrank kühle Getränke für Alt und Jung bereit. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, äußerst gepflegt, sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Insbesondere in der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man für die Verpflegung von größeren Gruppen so braucht. Im Wellnessbereich standen uns Bademäntel und Handtücher in ausreichender Menge zur Verfügung. Auch Sauna-Zusätze waren vorhanden und konnten genutzt werden. Der Freisitz bietet auch bei schlechterem Wetter einen warmen und trockenen Platz mit Blick ins Tal. Außerdem gab es Waschmaschinen und einen Wäschetrockner, sogar inkl. Waschmittel und Weichspüler, die wir kostenfrei zum Waschen der Hauswäsche und unserer eigenen Wäsche nutzen konnten. Die Umgebung von Scharnitz bietet sehr viele Möglichkeiten, die Urlaubstage abwechslungsreich zu gestalten. Viele Wanderwege und Badeseen, die Orte Seefeld, Mittenwald und Garmisch-Partenkirchen, zahlreiche Klammwanderungen, ... – die Region bietet für alle etwas. Der Ortskern von Scharnitz ist nicht sehr ansprechend, dies wird aber durch die tolle Umgebung mehr als ausgeglichen. Die Betreuung vor, während und nach dem Urlaub durch Frau Schnell und Harry's Hüttenteam erfolgte schnell, immer freundlich und sehr problemlos. Sogar Nachsendungen vergessener Habseligkeiten wurden prompt erledigt. Ein kleinerer Nachteil des Hauses besteht darin, dass es im Dorf keinen Supermarkt gibt. Dafür gibt es aber Angebote bekannter Anbieter im nahen Mittenwald oder Seefeld. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen!
