Description
Escape the stress of everyday life – our luxuriously furnished villa is very spacious with over 220 sqm of living space and is located in a very quiet area on the edge of the Eifel National Park, on a 2,200 sqm property with sauna, fireplace, whirlpool (heatable up to 40 degrees), and playground in a peaceful setting. Pure relaxation :-)
The villa is quietly situated in the village of Keldenich with about 800 inhabitants and has three bedrooms for a total of 6 people. The living room with open kitchen features a fireplace, a 65-inch Panasonic TV with satellite connection (additionally, an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is attached to the device). With your own Amazon account [no Prime account required] and your own Netflix account, you can access Netflix ), a piano with silent function, underfloor heating, balcony, a large adjoining Siematic kitchen with Gaggenau appliances, large refrigerator and separate large freezer, with induction stove and 300-degree Gaggenau oven as well as a separate dining room. There is a large playroom in the attic with foosball table, games, books, etc., as well as a sauna area with separate shower/WC. Outside, a garden awaits you, which is available to you completely and exclusively with a garden house, wind-protected dining area with dining table and chairs, Hollywood swing, whirlpool, large gas grill, and its own playground. In the sauna cellar there is a washing machine. A laundry service is included with bed linen, bathrobes, hand and dish towels, as well as shower and sauna towels. Free parking spaces are located on the private property in the driveway. If you have questions about the fence etc., please read the section "additional information."

Location and surroundings of object
The property is located on the edge of the Eifel National Park, surrounded by forests and fields with individual farms where you can buy fresh 2a pasture milk, yoghurt, cheese and eggs. The villa is very quietly situated in the 800-inhabitant village of Keldenich in the municipality of Kall, in a quiet street with only one- to two-family houses. It is only a few metres to the forest, the air is wonderfully clear and clean, the surroundings are dark and thus the sky is full of stars.

| Our prices include shower and hand towels, tea towels, sauna towels, bathrobes, water, heating, internet and double garage and a maximum of one pet, you can bring a second pet for an extra charge of €50 per holiday week. Own children aged between 2 and 10 years pay 12 euros/night, own children aged between 11 and 18 years pay 20 euros/night. Children from 2 years old are warmly welcome, younger children unfortunately not, as the house has a marble staircase without child safety features. Additional guests may only be received after consultation with us. No large parties or events are allowed, therefore rental is generally more to families than to individuals.

Is the garden fenced?
The garden is not completely fenced, which would not be possible with a size of 2. 200 sqm unrealistic.
Is the jacuzzi in operation all year round?
Yes, our jacuzzi is operated all year round and can be heated up to 40°C.
Do we have the entire property to ourselves, even when booking for 2 people?
The property, garden, garden house with grill, jacuzzi, and sauna are available for your exclusive use. We also do not lock unused guest rooms, but in return, we do not expect any unregistered additional guests. Except for the staff area and our office, you have free access to all rooms, including the laundry room and wine cellar (wine at an extra charge).
Are there any additional costs?
Yes, a deposit of 300 euros, which you will get back after your departure, provided no mishap has occurred. We are not petty about this; we understand that accidents can happen. Electricity is generously included, and if you use the jacuzzi and sauna moderately, the included electricity costs will suffice. Anything beyond that will be charged at €0.55/kWh.
Am I allowed to have parties on the property?
Yes, but moderately. The neighbors are working people and wish for quiet at night. You should also keep in mind that the villa is furnished to a very high standard (cherry wood furniture, SieMatic kitchen, Italian tile flooring; it is not a guesthouse or youth hostel!). ) and you as the tenant and contact person for any damages caused can be held fully liable, even beyond the security deposit. But no one has anything against a family birthday with celebrations lasting into the night, nor against guests chatting in the grill area until morning on the weekend. We just do not want a group of young people jumping into the pool at night with a boombox and shouting all the way to the village church.
May I use the fireplace and do I need to bring firewood? The living room has underfloor heating, so the room gets too hot quickly; you will probably not want to use the fireplace. For decoration, there are candles and tree slices in the fireplace (see photo). You may still use the fireplace, firewood is available, however, you are liable if you are not familiar with using a fireplace and, for example, close the flue when using it (then the smoke will go completely into the room, the fire cannot be extinguished, renovation would be necessary).
I have small children and take responsibility myself, I am aware that the stairs are unsecured. May we book?
Yes, you are very welcome! Is the villa purely a holiday property?
No, as a family we commute between Cologne, Belgium, and the Eifel; our now adult children like to use the villa to celebrate with friends undisturbed or to enjoy a wellness day. We parents use the villa to enjoy nature, to hike and to let our souls unwind, to drink a white wine in the jacuzzi, to use the sauna :-) The villa is fully furnished and not "bare" like a typical holiday property – everything is here, so you don't have to bring much luggage. We trust our guests and you may trust us as well.
May I book under a changed name or different address?
No, that is not possible. The housekeeper is instructed to compare your ID card information with the booking details at check-in. If these do not match, check-in is not possible, the booking will be cancelled, and the stated booking costs will be due.

One of the best places I have ever rented.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation – a great property, impeccably clean and with top-notch amenities. This place is ideal for relaxation: the house offers excellent privacy and the owners are exceptionally friendly. You get access to everything the house has to offer, and everything is perfectly prepared for the arrival of guests. I will definitely return here more than once.

Perfect home with everything you need!
We really enjoyed our stay! We came with our 2 kids (1 and 4). Espacially for our 4 year old the home was perfect with the playroom and whirlpool. You should take the warning for young children serious. We brought our own “gate” to protect the stairs. The stairs are open in the living room, which is on the second floor (kitchen too).
The house has everything you need! The whirlpool is great, bbq was perfect and the garden is nice and big.
You can hear the road pretty well, not something we found anoying but good to know.
Afterall, we had a wonderfull stay and realy would recommend this place!

Great Villa
We were four in this beautiful house for 2 days and found the furnishings to be very luxurious. Everything was very clean, there was plenty of space, a large, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a large bathroom on the ground floor. A highlight for us was the hot tub in the snowy garden and the sauna. And for our hobby pianist, there was a piano that could also be played. The reception by the hostess and the contact with her were uncomplicated and very pleasant. We had a wonderful weekend in this dream villa.

Beautiful accommodation
Unfortunately, the weather was suboptimal when we booked the accommodation. First of all, it should be mentioned that the main road runs very close to the house, and the traffic causes significant noise, at least during the day and on weekends. We could only use the jacuzzi once due to the pouring rain. The apartment is very clean and well organized. Unfortunately, we missed a simple radio. There are a lot of audiophile devices, but they cannot be operated or are not connected. Aside from a vegetable slicer, we missed nothing. The landlady is very accommodating and super nice.
